He is a fraud, likes to torture women emotionally, attaches to you like the Covid.
He has been stalking, harrassing, intercepting phone, computer, slanders me with aquaintances, sends people to follow me. Has basically ruined my life and I don't know him! POF, please take his profile down!

I upgraded with PoF because it stated that I had 17 meet me's and that a lot of members found me attractive, which I also found attractive.
I put in my credit card details and became a member, Low and behold I found that the 17 meet me's vanished, and the members that were supposed to be mutually attracted to had never read my profile (it says so in the persons profile)
I logged out as usual, when I logged in later I was back as a free member again? Is this a scam? No replies have been received from my messages to POF about this matter, the money has been taken from my account.
It does all seem to be a big bit FISHY

I understand that you get what you pay forbut my Lord POF is bad. An endless stream of fake profiles is annoying but tolerable. My problem is that my profile was completely unusable. I had to reset my password every day, always reusing the same password, because it wouldn't let me login, I couldn't send emails, my pics kept disappearing are just a few problems. I emailed POF for 9 days and got no response, They really don't give a crap. I laughingly received a notice to stop soliciting even though I couldn't send an email. It may be free but its still not worth it,

It looks like the dregs of society have assembled on POF. Most are broken women, overweight, single mums, unemployed or lowly paid jobs and with huge psychological issues thinking they are superior to you and with some utopian view of themselves. Narcissisim, abruptness and rudeness is on another level. They seem to demand a tall, mega-rich Brad Pitt lookalike on a dating site. As if a guy like that would need a dating site. In return they offer unflattering silly poutish pictures of themselves covered in tatoos like you're watching the Rocky Horror show with a description (if they've bothered) littered with typos.

You'll find very few well educated, professional women on there.

One year and 2 months later...

It didn't work out with me and the girl. But that's because I went to jail and she just wanted to be negative while i was in there and couldn't deal with it. The site is still really good, I've met a few other people on there. Never any real Creepers or Weirdos. But I am a Male so I am not sure how great it is for females. Haha.

Just like many reviews on here state, it's not a real dating site. Most men put that they're looking for a relationship but in reality they are looking for hookups. Some men have even lied about having children. What kind of person lies about their own children?! Disgusting. Even found out one user not only has a pof account claiming to be looking for a relationship but he also has a bunch of profiles on sex sites. Gross! Ladies beware of Misterme812. Keep a look out for these as well, MistermeOR, Misterme81, and Misterme8123. All the same person with multiple accounts.

Update from last reveiw, I really find pof.com to be a rip off. I have improved my profile repeatedly to no avail. And the woman that reach out to me are very average looking, a few scary bad AND the one that look good are FWB types. Besides the ones that are even remotely attractive are in japip, usa, so far that to imagine a chance is as remote as jumping to moon. Truly a total joke from my two month experience. Don't bother maybe other websites are better -match? I bet not. I already upped for eharmony and now this pretty dissapointing.

Beware of the men on PODF who advertise as being single and looking for a long term relationship when they are not. I recently dates a man for a few weeks Huskyboy15 on his profile who I today found out has a long term girlfriend and is also on other dating sites proclaiming to be single. Compulsive liar who spent every waking hour of the day on WhatsApp... a clear warning sign to steer clear. Even with all the friends I have I could not be on WhatsApp from 6am to 10pm onwards 7 days a week. This happens quite a lot. I'm sure women do it to. If you are serious about finding a relationship I would suggest a reputable site which you would need to pay a subscription for. These 'free' dating sites are the worst for serial liars and guys who just want a quick rumble and dirty pics.

Catfishing aside. I find that 80%+ of the woman that contact me are not real. This is just full of women that are not rights. They're either past their best or they never had a best to pass

The person who runs this site is a complete man hater. They allow women to say ANYTHING on this site, pose half nude, etc... but if you're a guy, they monitor your e-mails and will delete your account on a whim. I'm a pro fighter, and my pictures are mostly of me in the cage fighting. My pics were deleted because MY SHIRT WAS OFF... but, there are women on there in bathing suits, thongs, I even saw one showing their pubes, and when I reported them, POF did NOTHING. Terrible, terrible site.
