Scam

Thought they asked for a bit too much info and required a cellphone number to text you a code to submit registration. Fine. Whatever, just wanted a Legacy weapon for FO76. Tried to buy item using Apple Pay with my Amex. Once payment was complete immediately got email saying order status had changed, click link, it's been canceled, some BS about verification. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. Strongly suspect all the positive reviews were bought from a rating farm

This use to be the site to go too for all your gaming needs! Done plenty of business with them in the past! Now I wouldn't recommend this site to NO ONE! Placed an order for roughly around 76$ waited an hour for them to verify my payment. Chatted with the Seller! They sent me an email saying that I needed to send in everything but my SS#. They want you to take a selfie with your ID. Just so they can tell you they can't read it! Not only that they want you to deface your ID. Asked for a bank statement that couldn't be screenshotted had to be from your computer! Wasted about 3hours out of my day still don't have what I ordered. This site has really turned into a JOKE not only for consumers but for merchants as well! I will never go back cancelled my order. Now I can only hope that they refund me my money since I have to wait 7 days! WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE EVER! 0stars forreal.

I really appreciate that you've been with us for so long, but we need to have this process in place to verify the identity of our users and to validate their payment authorization — this is our way of combating fraud and preventing unauthorized use of payment accounts. You sent us a 240x320 document which we can't use since it's too small, we obviously can't read the ID details there.

We never asked you to "send in everything but your SS#", we never defaced your ID — I'm afraid these are defamatory remarks. And yes, you will be fully refunded on this, of course.

Just got charged $100 for gold. They cancelled the order & I still got charged. I've bought many times from this website & never a problem. Now they're saying I'm a "fraud risk" but charged me anyway. THEY are the ones committing fraud. Now I have to file a chargeback.

The funds for the payment you made were already voided, but I'm afraid refunds aren't instant because payment providers require 2-5 business days — let me reiterate that this is with providers and not PlayerAuctions, this is a standard process for refunds.

As to why your payment was declined, please double-check that the names and addresses between your PlayerAuctions and payment accounts are exactly matching. To avoid fraud and account theft, we need information for both to exactly match.

So I have used the website for quite some time, had many trades in my history and all was well. Suddenly in December, I experienced hick-ups using neteller as a payment service with them.

At first it was a failed payment that was refunded 4 days later, but than, I have placed two more orders in the end of December and paid with neteller, one for 45$ and the other for 95$, both payments appeared as failed on their system, so I was waiting for a refund and... It just never came. At first I spent entire January exchanging emails with them, trying to figure out what went wrong and from their end the answer was always the same - we did everything right, we sent the money, it's your problem, figure it out with neteller. After a while their representatives started to send some strange screenshots of apparently their payment system with details of refunds sent, lo and behold in one of the screenshots they sent me, I noticed they sent the money to the wrong email! (to the email i was registered on PA with, instead of email on neteller I used to pay with), I pointed that out and the guy went silent for X days, and came back to me saying they made a refund and... IT NEVER BLOODY CAME AGAIN.

Now at this point I'm just lost for words at how irresponsible and unprofessional both their support and finance teams are, because it's just literally the same with them, your problem, your fault, fix it yourself, when these monkeys themselves sent me proof of their own $#*! up. And now they are straight up ignoring my tickets and emails at this point. I am in the process of filling a complaint with the UK Police and Action fraud hotline (PA is registered in the UK so hit them where it hurts when you too get scamemd by them). Don't use this service because whatever happens on their end, it will be your fault and your problem and they will send you off.

They ask for:

Fill out a form with my contact info and address etc

Picture of my Drivers License

Utility Bill with matching address

Phone number and best time to reach me

Sign the document with ink and that I have someone take a picture of myself holding my drivers license

You do realize that with all of this you can do almost anything in my name?

You can open credit cards, you can have any online account opened/changed/closed, you can get to your bank accounts...

I've try first with my credit card, as it was simpler but i've try with my G Pay account they ask for the same think. The only way would be to use crypto currency. That is dangerous at best.

WARNING before you use this aweful site!

For a single purchase they require you to send in solo much info only to say it's not good enough. I retook their stupid pictures 8 times (whole set), and still told it's not good enough. I even used Gpay with my fingerprint to avoid the mess. After a whole day of back and forth between their verification office I decided it's definitely not worth the hassle. Just a warning for anyone who was thinking of using this site.

I attempted to purchase a high end account from one of their sellers. After placing my purchase I received an email stating that I needed to send a picture of my ID, a selfie holding my ID, a picture of the card used to make the purchase (with all but the last 4 blocked out), and last a picture of my online banking app showing that the payment was pending. After I replied and sent all requested information to their support team I received an email stating that their "risk management team" decided to decline the payment. After sending them highly sensitive information they declined the payment without even giving a reason or asking me to clarify on the issue. When I messaged support they told me that for security purposes they could not tell me why I was denied. They then suggest that I instead use some type of crypto currency in order to complete the payment which is somehow "safer" then a debit card payment in which I supplied private information for them to identify that I made the payment. Of course to top it off they inform me that it will take up to 5 days for the funds to return to my account. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would give them 0 stars if possible.

My account was suspended when trying to sell an account. I have been a member of this site for years and have already verified my identity with them a week prior, which I passed. When I try to talk to customer service, they have closed my previous customer service requests without addressing the problem. The person who ignores me and closes them is Jennifer.

I get the feeling that they are stealing my personal information based on how they act and their garbage tier customer service.

#******* is the request you said was "SOLVED" yet I'm still suspended.

This is a terrible way to treat someone who WANTS TO SPEND HIS MONEY WITH YOU.

The worst experience i've ever had! They have such payment risk system that is the worst crap ever made. Even after verifying with ID and everything, payments failed from their side. And the only solution they come with is to use crypto currency instead. That's not a solution!

Something is wrong...

I bought an electronic item yesterday on this site. When i tried to process the payment the site said that there had been an error. But when i was redirected back to the profile, there had been a ticket created saying that i had competed the purchase and the money was taken off of my cash app account. I then click to view the purchase, there is a button that says press pay now to continue purchase. I am not going to pay for one item twice, but the money i paid was taken out of my account and the service was only supposed to take 24 hours i messaged the services provider and got no answer. I would still like my item but this my first time using this site and my first experience was not very good. Is my item paid for or is it not?

Thanks a lot for posting your concern so we can be of help. The order's payment was not received by our system yet which is why it displayed the "Pay Now" screen, but when this happens, you no longer need to click "Pay Now" and just wait for a few minutes for the order payment to be accepted. Once it does, when you refresh the page, the "Pay Now" button will be gone indicating that the payment is already captured. Since you've canceled the order already, you will be fully and automatically refunded on this in 2-5 business days (if not instantly).

Terriblecustome service and deceiving practices

Customer service has been disgusting and appalling I have been dealing with them for 5 hours now. Ive taken at least 13 selfies and sent them 4, They are asking me to uncover a peice of my I'd which I explained is key info on of my I'd after sending it 3 to four times for them to see. I do not trust and want a manager as I've asked and requested multiple times. However most recent I've been making an investment into an account and I utilized paypal cash balance through google play. I've never had to use I'd and selfies to verify a cash balance before. Not once. Then the customer service been terrible tonight. I'm just ugh disgusted. Thdy used to be the best will add proof off purchase literally 5 hours later they are telling me to change the picture. Ive been waiting almost an entire day now, for an order promised in less than 30minutes. The website is saying payment verification, except they already charged my account. I want the product i paid for, if thats not going to happen then legally need a refun or im taking legal action. This has been the most stressful online transaction I have made in my life. When i say their customer service is bad, that word simply does no justice. If it were possibly to charge you stars i would, when you recieve as many bad reviews your buisness should honetly be blacklisted, or have a face with a name, that way its easier to know who to take to court for fraud. This account was over $500 that is no joke at all, I get it in LA thats probaly your lunch and a side of voss water, but over here that money takes a while to save up with hard work, so you could only imagine how upset someone would be when they are getting scammed for so much. You are not being scammed. The order verification happening is our natural process of validating the user's identity and his/her authorization for the payment. We are doing this to prevent payment account theft and fraud. I'm afraid the documents we received on ticket 607629 are unclear and we them need to be in clearer/higher resolution copies. The $500 charge will be automatically and fully refunded back to you and it's not being taken from you permanently; it's actually not with PA yet and is just on hold by your provider.

In case you'd like to skip the verification process, kindly cancel the order to get the refund back then use Coinbase as your payment as that skips the verification process.

This is the worst site I've ever used to purchase from. They make you jump through annoying hoops for hours trying to get you to 'validate' who you are - after they've already taken your money!

They want a selfie with your license, close up of your license and credit card as well as credit card statements. However, what you send never meets their 'requirements' so you have to resend and their response time is very slow so it all takes forever.

Absolute BS - they should just accept PayPal like every other store. Do not waste your time with these absolute spuds

We initially verify all users/payments and it should be good to go for the next orders as long as the customer's information and payment account stays the same. We have this in place because we need to ensure the validity of user identities and payment authorization to avoid fraud and theft, since we maintain a strong stance against unauthorized payments and fraud activity.

Please look into Coinbase if you plan to order again in the future; BTC is a stored wallet and as such, no longer requires verification and might be an easier way for you to pay.
