These people help me every single time. There hasn't been a time where they couldn't immediately help me with my problem, which helps me to hit my deadlines. Not to mention their products are unreal.
First, a note: there's a weird sudden spike of "good" reviews within a short period of time after years of 'not so great' reviews. I guess SiteJabber didn't get ahold of this fake review spam yet but one can imagine how legitimate those recent reviews are.
As for their products: quality is terrible. They may in some cases look decent, they do look cheaper but the issue is that stability does not exist. Some worked yesterday and suddenly poof - gone (either crashing FCPX and sometimes even corrupting the project they were used in) whereas others didn't work at all (just crashing).
The funniest part are the mails that they've sent recently:
9 October 2019 - "There are several issues (...) we are are working around the clock to resolve these issues (...) We recommend holding off until our team has heard from Apple & solved all of the bugs that have popped up. ;)"
6 November 2019 - "Attention: 99% of products have been updated for Catalina."
It took them a MONTH to make plugins work and not even all of them (quite a few still crash).
What I really regret is not looking for more opinions about them BEFORE pressing "Proceed to checkout":(

I purchased the ProGun plugin. Among the good variety of included presets, the mini fire blasts and bright flashes made gunfire in my Final Cut Pro X look awesome. They were very effectively integrated (appearing right in the titles area of FCPX), were easy to use and had many adjustments to make each effect unique. Before finding this success, I experienced the issue of a solid red error screen when attempting to composite items onto my timeline. Pixel Film Studios' website had a section which was easy to navigate for possible solutions. All types of problems were neatly categorized, accompanied by a guide video and/or clearly written instructions. After troubleshooting through those means to no avail, I followed through to after hours support and was put through a ticket system. The response was fast and included info that allowed me to ensure my problem was resolved. I would buy more plugins from Pixel Film Studios and feel secure under their wing of support and tutorials. One thing I would hope is that the plugins are improved to fit more smoothly (without technical problems) into the newer versions of FCPX.

I've been a long time user and customer of these products and they've always been fantastic! Recently I had to wipe and reprogram my system and I had issues reinstalling the software. If it's not too obvious, I am making a video where for the characters end up in a version of the Aha video "Take On Me." I maaaaybe could have used effects software that I already have in FCPX, but when I saw Pro Trace Pencil was available--no brainer. Looks exactly like it, and then the tech helped me fifnd it when it wasn't showing up in my FCPX. Thanks--great product and help as usual.
