Update to the review I made on 2013 1,000 HP axles for Camaro.

In all fairness, not sure if product shipped direct from DSS of from Phasetek. Either way it was a complete catastrophe. Once product went back it had to go through DSS quality inspection, which Phasetek claimed it would take a week to perform and a refund could then be issued assuming it passed QC. I thought "turn about" should be fair play and replied "I was not afforded the option of a quality inspection before payment so you should refund me without immediately. Not so says Phasetek.

In the end they finally conceded to their mistake. Here is their email to me.

We have just been updated by DSS about your return. They found that the mistake was on the warehouses end. They send you 2 of the same side instead of the driver and passenger side. We do apoloigze for the mistake.

We can send you the correct item if you are still needing them but DSS is telling us that it will be about 2 weeks before they can ship the kit to you. Or we can issue you a refund, it will take 3-5 business days for the amount to show up in your account. Please let us know and we will process that information for you.

Really you actually think I would buy anything from you again?

The product was very good. However, there is not pre-drilled hole behind the Rear Chevy Bowtie emblem on 2014-2015 Camaros. I had to drill a hole in the tailgate to run the wires through. The second issue I had was the wiring instructions that came with it were so dark I couldn't see anything. I had to contact AAC for them to send me a copy that was more detailed and in color. For future versions of this product I would also include longer wires. I routed mine on top of the existing wiring harness from the trunk lid into the trunk, then followed the factory wire harness to the tail light plug. I found that the wires are just a little too short to directly follow the factory wiring harness. For people like me who want to keep any and all extra wires hidden so it doesn't look like a "rat's nest" this would be a good improvement. I'd say about six inches or more of wire should be enough to have it following the factory wiring harness. All in all it is a good product and uses a Genuine GM Chevrolet Emblem. I would buy this for my Tahoe as well. I would also like to see a LED light up one for the front Chevrolet emblem as well.
