I purchased two items, Rear rock guards and stainless full oval exhaust trim rings for my 2012 Camaro, I put the rear rock guards on and decided not to use the exhaust trim rings (wasn't buy any means worth the money, probably wouldn't even stay on). So I called customer service and spoke with a customer service agent and I explained to the customer service agent (WHO WAS NICE AND PROFESSIONAL) that I wanted to return the trim rings and the items WAS NOT DAMAGED IN ANY WAY that I just had opened the end of clear bag to get a closer look at trim rings and decided these wasn't for me, one couldn't even tell where the bag was opened just by looking at the bag, the clear bag was not roughed up wrinkled and in no way was the product harmed I just decided not to use trim rings and that the items had EVERY THING that was included with them when arrived to me right down to the alcohol pads, adhesive stick, and all instructions as well as in the plastic bag from which the trim rings were in and I still had the card board envelope style box that items was shipped to me in( ALSO NOT DAMAGED IN ANY WAY) I ask customer service agent how much the restocking fee would be he said if items was as described to him (AND THEY WERE EXACTLY AS I DESCRIBED) he figured 5% restocking fee he said for me to send photos and he would then send the photos to another dept and get back with me with return info that I would need to return item and he did with a 15% restocking fee that some other part of the return division told him to charge me, I couldn't believe it! Really! 15% I could under stand a charge as such if I had used the trim rings as frisbees, use the plastic bag trim rings arrived in to haul away dog waste from the park or even cut the rings and used them for horse shoes, BUT NONE OF THIS WAS THE CASE ITEM WAS JUST AS IT ARRIVED IN 100% PERFECT CONDITION AND ITS PACKAGING AS WELL BUT YET 15% RESTOCK CHARGE REALLY? UNFAIR FOR ME OR ANYONE! Yes this does aggravate me, So make sure you are going to keep any item before you order because if you change your mind and want to send items back get ready to get charged a unfair restocking fee if items and packaging are sent back in same condition as they arrived to you. CUSTOMER SERVICE (LOL) Or. I suggest we as customers buy from a company that cares more about the customer and has fair customer service than it does about unfair restocking fees, so tomorrow I will return these unharmed exhaust trim rings with everything that came with them just as the items arrived to me back to Phastek, DISAPPOINTED? Stress free, hassel free, efficient delivery and great service. Item came on time, everything was in the box and packaged to prevent damage. The best thing though was that it was all billed together, being in Canada and getting that stupid courier tariff whatever fee at the door sucks soooo much that you don't want to buy anything again but it was all packaged together and shown before closing the deal. Great service for those of us north of the border so massive thanks from up here. #shoutouttolethalcamaro
