Getting a hold of someone is impossible. You will be disappointed with their service as it is not accurate and not even worth $1.00 they charge for 5 days. Unbelievable that they charge $21.95 per month.

I'm not one to leave reviews like this but I think it's just super frustrating. I paid for the $1 trial hoping to find some information, which I wasn't able to but it was already so late at night that the costumer service which closes at 11:30 wouldn't have gotten back to me. Most websites have a convenient cancel button on their website but not this one and I was so busy the next day I just must of forgotten. But I read on their website that refunds were handled on a case by case basis so pretty much as soon as I saw the charge I emailed them a request for a cancellation and a refund. I was prepared for them to tell me no or possibly offer a partial discount but instead they didn't even mention the refund in their reply to me. What they did offer was a 50% off future subscription promotion. It honestly felt like they didn't even read my email, and if they did they just ignored half of it and I'm not sure which is worse.

Since they can only provide information on what's is available it's ok. If the information is layed they can't find the owner of email. Used the email for weeks talked to person. Wanted more information. Can't find information. Same with phone numbers. I talked to person several times. Can't find number. Some things are deeply layered the information isn't available. Did the 7 day free trail.

I contacted peoplelooker yesterday and wrote about the 22.86 dollars worth of refund and they haven't replied back yet. I say though I received the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The info I got wasn't up-to-date, like the other people search websites that I looked at, but my customer agents get bak to me and explained my problems. I would RECOMMEND them for their service!
I noticed the age for Sydney M williams was 30 the other websites posted her age as 32 so accuracy isn't the best and won't complain. As for the refund though, I am waiting on a reply back. The same info I got you can actually get for FREE! Paying didn't give me much more info, but also gave me financial and criminal info which I didn't really need! I really DON'T NEED TO KNOW what's going in their private lives and NEITHER SHOULD YOU! My gut feeling is its a potential scam though, like the other websites I looked at.

I used PeopleLooker in my business for many months. It did a good job of compiling public information. When it works, it does this quickly. For people looking for perfection, remember, this is public information so what you find will depend on the level of public activity a person has. If they are not involved in social media, and keep a low profile, they will have a small footprint. The biggest issue is that it has periods of time where it just won't pull data. If you call Customer Support, you will get a person, but they will give you generic steps that don't work, like clear your cookies, try a different browser, etc. I did all those things prior to calling. Very clearly they were having issues, and it would have been helpful if they just would have said so. I could have planned around that. Three days of sporadic usage later I cancelled and moved to another service. What a shame. A little honesty goes a long way.

Their ad makes it sound like you can find everything about everybody you've ever known and hint that the information will be interesting and perhaps helpful to you personally. Some of it is interesting. I didn't find that any of it was helpful with me at all. The very least that websites like this could do if they want to prove they are trustworthy and worth continuing to pay them for what information they can give you (most of which may be interesting but not helpful) is they could give you a reminder of when your free trial is ending. But be aware - they don't do that as most other bait and switch sites don't do it either. BEWARE! Why else would they use a fake name like Sitejabber?

Don't ever sign up for a 1.00$ trial they took 24.00 and some change and I used it once. They won't refund my money but says I can use this crappy site for the rest of the month. How can you not send a email saying your trial is up? Then just take your money. Don't rely on this sight for good results either. I should not even give it 1 star. Misleading and greedy.

I just I tried the $1 trial and now I find I'm being charged $22.86/ month. For the last 4 months. When I tried to cancel, they (automated) offered to lower my rate to $9.95/ month. I want a refund, but can't talk to anyone so I will dispute with the CC company.
It's a scam that makes you wait around on the web page, while they advertise, then charges you for the info and no useful info at all. You don't know this until after they get your name and email address. Then you will start getting all sorts of spam from them.

DO NOT subscribe to this company. They should seriously consider changing their Co. Name to Scammersandliars.com. They continue charging our bank account $21.51 each month even though the subscription has been cancelled. Their customer service employees are rude and unhelpful. When you call they basically tell you tough luck. End result you are going to have to resolve issue with your bank and as we all know that takes time. Please save yourself a lot of time and headaches and stay as far away from this place as you can. Lets add that their resources don't give you anymore information then if you were to google a name, phone number or address. It provides very little information. It should be illegal for people to call themselves a company and charge a monthly fee for absolutely nothing, especially when you are able to find the exact information for FREE.

I needed to check a background on an individual I did not know at all. The report came back clean. I was comforted by the results. As a check I ran the report on two individuals that I knew had serious criminal backgrounds - they too came back as no criminal history. Needless to say, reports are not accurate. Do not use for safety. May be fine if you just need addresses or phone numbers.
I have found your background check program to be one of the best. Very easy to look up. I did try the 5 day trail and loved it. I will let others know to try it out. Im sure they will find it to be a great source of information and go monthly with it... I do plan to come back soon

Answer: They bill you even if you specifically dont sign up for reocurring billing, i gave the customer support a piece of my mind and they said they canceled my subscription but i just made a new debit card anyway id honestly just suggest doing that since they have your info already cant trust these crooks whatsoever
