I have been a user of Pelican parts for my two early european cars for some time now. Over the years I have always experienced prompt and efficient service. This has covered tech queries, advice regarding left and right hand drive anomalies, and even using their tech knowledge pool for help on doing things. I am not one to right reviews but given the service has always matched what they said they would do 'on the box' I thought I would put my views into print. This has not always been my experience with online suppliers. I will be using Pelican for the forseeable future.
Just wanted to thank you for the great service in supplying the throttle body to my overseas location this week. It arrived within about 36 hours of ordering it! I suspect the time zone difference worked in our favour but I was impressed nonetheless in how quickly you processed the order and shipped the item. Thank you also for the voucher and PelicanParts sticker - nice touch!

Excellent service! Had a very hard time finding the correct part on my own so Sales helped me choose the correct part. Delivery was fast! Price was more than fair for Genuine Parts and I'm very glad I called Pelican!
I tried to take pictures of the installed part and the invoice- but there was a lame error about file size being over 5.
I buy a lot of products from a lot of different online websites as I'm sure we all do. When i purchase from Pelican Parts I never worry if it's going to arrive on time or if it's the right part. Worry free and great info on the parts on your site. Always a please to deal with.
They have delivered all parts in a timely fashion. I would recommend this website to all my friends and family. I now want to order parts for my 2003 Toyota and expect the same great results from my past orders.
Pelican Parts was amazing. I had blown my head gasket in my 1989 Mercedes. The car is over 30 years old and I was not only able to get the parts needed, the ordering was easy and the service fast. I am totally 100% a big fam of Pelican parts.
The website said free shipping, and when I went to check out, the cart added 16.99 shipping. I called and they said I did not order enough. And if I did not like it to buy somewhere else! So I did. I feel like they tried to cheat me and really dont care... BAD customer service...
They sent the wrong part and wouldn't refund my money because they could only refund it to the card that I used to purchase the part. But I lost that card, and canceled it, after paying for the part. Giving them the replacement card number wouldn't do. A curious business model.

Unfortunately, we are only able to refund the credit card used during the purchase of the order. If you cancel the card used on your original transaction, the card issuer is still under obligation to return your refund to you. In many cases I have seen the card issuer provide a check for the refunded amount if the account had been closed.

The Sales Engineers and Customer Service/Help Desk folks at Pelican Parts are great! Easy to work with, technically astute and completely up-front about their products and policies. They handled parts exchanges, shipping updates and advice on using the tools they sell, from the mundane (Brake Fluid management when bleeding the brakes on my Syncro Vanagon without a Helper to pump the brake pedal) to the esoteric (Proper sizing and bend radius on offset wrenches for ignition and fuel injection component replacement). These folks know their stuff!
Comments = 10/10. Always able to find what I need, prompt order filling and quick delivery. Appreciate the site's ability to confirm that the part fits my vehicle.
Fantastic company and prices that no other companies can beat it, I've order original Mercedes-Benz filter and paid $16 when same exact filter sells on EBay in Italy and Germany for $500, thank you Pelican Parts.
My package has been stuck at customs because these "geniuses" wrote a different amount in declared value for customs from what I paid so when I sent the invoice to DHL because they asked for it it didn't coincide with what was declared. They wrote down a higher amount which means I will pay higher import fees! The only option for customs is to send them an invoice that has the same amount as the one declared. When I talked on the phone with Pelican Parts they just acted like nothing. Not even a sorry for the inconvenience! Word of advice if you care about customer satisfaction: in declared value for customs write down the amount that was paid including whatever discount that was given for whatever reason and don't include shipping and handling in the declared amount. If you don't do this you're making your client pay more! Import fees for Mexico are very high so thank you for screwing me and not caring about it.

Horrendous experience. Their website says the parts were in stock but they're not. Gave me run around for 2 weeks. Had to cancel. WORST customer service as well. Just put you on hold for 20 to 40 min at a time with zero resolve.

Very good option if you are searching for a foreign car part. I have been ordering items from them at least a few times per year for several years now and have no complaints. Excellent selection, fairly responsive customer service and competitive prices.
Great service. Prompt follow up and communication. Delivery of needed products met my tight deadline for finishing project.

My car is a Mini Cooper S R53.
I live in Japan, and if I can get the parts domestically, I don't have a problem, but if not, I often use Pelican Parts.
Pelican parts have a wide variety of products, and you can choose from genuine parts and aftermarket parts.
Shipping is fast, and it's a great help when I'm in trouble.
Also, the Pelican Parts website and YouTube explain how to replace parts, and I enjoy using them as a reference while maintaining my own car.
From my experience, I can recommend Pelican Parts.
Delay in shipment of the product is at it's worst, Tracking number provided has no update after shipment. You can not tell what is happening with your order. Email from the customer service does not help at all as they appear to be making pandemic as an excuse. Be very aware of this company better stay away from them.

My apologies for not living up to expectation on your recent order. I know when you are in the middle of a build any delay is painful. I am so sorry to be the cause of that pain. I reviewed your order, and it looks like this order was placed on September 19 and shipped out the following day on September 20. It appears that the packages were leaving our facility in Harbor City, California headed to Australia. With the shipping method being USPS priority mail. It is extremely frustrating on our end when we do everything right to get the order out the door only to have a carrier flub the delivery. Unfortunately, with USPS I have seen some instances where tracking is missing or not updated. When we call our rep to get more information, they inform us that it will eventually update and to remain patient. Not the answer either one of us want to hear. Personally, I think USPS’s care factor is zero.
I just shot you an email. If you have time, I would appreciate a note back. I’ll work with you to see if we can make up for this flub.

I have used Pelican parts in the past for Porsche and BMW parts never had a problem always the rite part and fast service. They have the part in stock when no one else did and at a great price. If you need to call them there customer service is first class. As i said before i will always come back. Someone you can trust and these days that BIG.

I've been using Pelican for parts on my Porsches (2007 997 & 2006 Cayman S) for years now and they never fail. Always better pricing than the competition or my mechanic and deliveries are timely, well packed and always correct.
When I make a purchase I know that I am supporting the business which I have chosen to do business with. My review is simple for this business. I own one of the best cars ever created. I feel confident in doing my own repairs on this car and I know that Pelican Parts has what I need.
One main reason for my dedication to them is the forum which they provide. The members are like family with tons of advice and know how. Five years ago I purchased a 1983 Porsche 911 SC. The clutch cable snapped. I went on the internet to find the fix. I found the forum, then bought Wayne's book 101 projects. I added to the cart the Bentley book. This started my hobby. If you are reading this then the bug has gotten to you too. I know it is only a car but while it is in my care I will do my best at keeping it in proper condition for the next owner.
Answer: Import parts can be hard to find especially in a remote area like Wyoming. Pelican has great photos of their parts and a sales person is glad to help. Their personal service is top notch!
