I got a good deal

They have some very smart deals when it comes to pdas. I always wanted to get a good psa for me and I was fortunately able to get a phone from them and at a good price. The phone works fine and has not given me any problems so far. I have to say that I got a good deal as they say that they offer good deals.

Beware of this scammer

Same complain as most others. I ordered a phone on deal, paid through etransfer, expecting to receive in 15-25 work days. After this time passed and upon enquiring by email, they (Howard) responded that manufacturer is not sending this model, and they offered to ship a lower priced variant, which I declined. I waited for another week, but they never updated. Then I asked if a lesser memory variant was available for shipping and they said yes and I took that offer with an agreement of refund of price difference. After few days upon asking for update they said they will ship a different color than what I asked for. At this point I sensed something fishy so decided to cancel order. They agreed to refund within 5 days. After this time passed and upon my following up, they gave an excuse that their interac limit reached so they would refund following month, after few days. Again after following up they kept pushing out the refund date. It's over 2 months and till date there's no refund and I'm having to resort to posting this complaint, lest they resolve this conflict. I'm not letting go of my money so easily.

They're never elaborate in their communication and leave things ambiguous. They have a standard template of response which makes it sound nice, but its useless. They never keep their words on shipping or refund days. Always have some lame excuses. Quite a torturous and frustrating experience. This company makes money by lending other people's money, earning interest. Hence they delay as long as possible. Call it scamming, stealing, money laundering. Wonder how they're still not arrested by the law enforcement.

I was given refund in10 business days after asking for canceling my order. Dealing with the company was a true headache and I did end up taking my business elsewhere. Paying for the phone 200CAD more directly with Samsung company did worth it for me.

I perhaps lost my money. Please avoid this company. Customer support hang up on me when I requested a money refund and interrupted me several times, also wasn't able to resend me my order status or confirmation of my order. That is what they have on their web pages advertised as Top Notch customer support. They also said in order to refund me, they need to send the phone back to get my money back. The phone was in stock.

Best Price, Great Service

I bought the Xiaomi POCO F3 through PDA Plaza as it has the best price on the market (7% less than others).

Received the phone in less than 2 weeks (it was "In Stock" status so shipping was fast), exact the product as described in great condition and package, very happy with this purchase, will definitely consider this site for the future purchase.

So I placed an order on Oct 19th. And I got my purchase on dec 1st after a week of delays by purolater. I stand corrected. This place does give you a great price for the phone. The only thing I think would help this company is that if they had faster delivery timelines. But I guess the price would not be as great then. Thank you to Alex and all the team based on Montreal. Keep up the great work and timely updates and also the great prices.
A note for customers: you might need to wait around a month for delivery but I couldn't find a better price online other than this site. Amazon, best buy and swiftronics were charger me way more.

I bought the Sony Xperia 1 ii through PDA Plaza, which was the only place offering it for sale in Canada when it was released in N. America. The price was better than I was expecting, when comparing it to the USD selling price and the fact that they were the only Canadian option.
Between the time I placed my order and received the phone, I had a couple of questions along the way, and received prompt and courteous responses from Alex each time.
I usually try to purchase my devices outright since I don't like tying myself to phone company contracts, so when the time comes for the next phone, I will most definitely be coming back to PDA Plaza!

20 days, not that bad

I was looking for a LG wing so badly, but this phone does not release in Canada, PDAplaza is the only place I can find to order this phone, I was concern before cause I saw a lot of commend says they are quite slow, finally I made my decision on November 10th, it is 5-10 days shipping standard with full price, after 10 days it shipped, and 10 more days on Canada post, I got it today, it is not that bad if you choose the right shipping standard, I was think about choice 10-25 days shipping standard with deal, but I would like to get this phone as soon as possible. Go full price with 5-10 days is much better. Alex is really nice, he reply my email fast, if I didn't miss the deal on smart watch, I would definitely purchase one more.

Doesn't honour refund policy.

I ordered a phone on December 29th, and it was going to take a while to ship. That was fine, but unfortunately, before that date, my current phone stopped working, so I needed something more quickly.

I emailed to request an order cancellation and Milan was very accommodating, stating that his boss approved the cancellation and that it would take up to 7-10 business days for the refund to be processed. 11 days later, there was still no refund, and my order status hadn't changed. I contacted them to inquire and Milan promised that the refund would be done "tomorrow." Unfortunately, that day came and went, and there's still no refund. I e-mailed to inquire about this and ask for a transaction ID, and have so far received no reply.

I suggest people avoid this company, as I was very prompt in making my payment and they were very prompt in taking my money, but now they're dragging their feet and trying to avoid refunding me or at least shipping the originally ordered product if they refuse to return my payment.

EDIT: Moments after posting this review, the order was cancelled and and Interac e-transfer was returned to me; so I'm neither sure why they have the 7-10 day refund policy (and why so many people have issues getting refunds) when it can be done quickly.

Buyer Beware

BUYER BEWARE: Lack of customer service from PDA Plaza. Very poor service, I requested to cancel my order on Dec 4th which they agreed to do and now on Dec 22nd that have not canceled and refunded my money and won't reply to my emails or answer their phone. Avoid using PDA Plaza at all costs. They will not help you or give your money back. Now it seems I have to contact Better Business Bureau or take them to small claims court to get my money as they will not refund it or answer me back at all

You took a substantial loan from PayBright to purchase multiple smartphones and then cancelled at the last minute. You were not even charged a single dollar yet.

We discussed and explained to you by phone call yesterday that PayBright is cancelling the transaction, but it might take a bit longer due to the holidays as their techies are overwhelmed.

We answered your emails, and you even spoke with us just yesterday. No need to exaggerate and hyperventilate, PayBright is cancelling the transaction this week.

I was reading all the negative reviews here and felt like maybe not to trust them but I needed the phone so bad so I went ahead and gave a try, trust me this isn't a fake review or anything but these guys actually do good business
Only thing is that you have to be patient depending on the area you live in
If you live in main cities then you will get the phone really quick or else a bit slower(mostly cuz of Canada post).
My device was shipped on the 6th day as it was mentioned in their time frame for shipping, it was quick, only there was 1 day delay cuz of Canada post
I love the device and it works perfectly with all Google services!
It's 100% real and in perfect condition
And the staff was also responsive through email even tho I was slow at replying cuz of my situation with my stolen phone and email

But In short, they aren't fake or shady, it's a growing business and actually are trying their best to give their best
Just read instructions before ordering so you know when you'd expect ur product to get shipped(dont get confused between delivery time frame and shipping, mostly reviews here are like complaining about late delivery based on shipping time frame!)

If u want to wait for the electronics u bought for over a month.go ahead and try to buy something from this company.my experience was total fail. I ordered 19th and it was 15 to 25 days delivery. I emailed them if they can rush it. They say it would go out certain date. Nothing came. I have to rearranged my vacation.and the day they promised nothing happened and I had to change my vacation dates again.and they promised again and created shipment with tracking. I m writing this more than a 1 and a half month later still nothing in my hand. Their last email said it would be shipped tomorrow. Ehich will be another week or so to get to British Columbia where I live.(they are located in Montreal I believe. But it was all just making me believe they ll ship. I waited 4 more days and nothing was moving on tracking cuz they did not ship it in reality.its all blah blah lies. Yes they are cheap. But if u can't get the products it doesn't make any sense. Yea u may pay a few hundred more in other places but at least u won't be fooled by this company and get mad about them.do yourself a favour and pay more to avoid unnecessary stress. Stay away.

To keep it short, you purchased your phone on special sale with a shipping timeframe of 15-25 business days as indicated on the product page. The deadline was June 30. We shipped it on June 30 but Canada Post only picked up the package on July 4 because July 1 was Canada Day (holiday) and the rest were weekends.

We apologize for the 1-day delay but there's no need for you to overexaggerate yourself so much, this isn't drama class. We even shipped it Express Post (instead of Expedited as you paid) as compensation for the single-day delay.

Not honoring shipping timelines

I purchased a phone on sale, I needed to go to a reseller as it isn't conventionally available in Canada. It was listed to ship in 15-25 business days, which is a while, but tolerable. I waited the 25 business days, no shipping confirmation. I sent support an email asking what was going on. They told me that my phone was tied up in customs and would ship the following week, so two weeks pass and I receive no notification. Email support again, same question. Told again that it would ship the following week, but also let know that I can cancel my order if I'd like to. Friday afternoon rolls by, no word, so I email them to process a refund for my order and to cancel because of not honoring the shipping timelines.
Different company listed the same phone in stock, and shipped the following business day, next day shipping almost the same price. Overall $50 more than I paid for the on sale phone.
Couldn't recommend them to anyone as they list phones on their site that they don't actually have in their immediate possession.

Update to seller response: I was not informed during the shipping timeline that my phone would be delayed. Only after I inquired about the status of my order was I notified about the item being delayed.
Additionally, having to inquire an additional time -after the specified 5-7 business days stated for refunds- and then receiving the refund IMMEDIATELY after the email reply, makes me feel like I was forgotten about and unimportant.
I could not recommend this company less to anyone looking to buy a cellphone. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I had ordered the phone from pdaplaza.ca on july 24 2022 and had received it on September 2nd. I started using the phone and quickly discovered that it fails to maintain proper reception signal. My carrier is Fido and where I live none of my previous phones had a problem with that. I compared pda's sony phone back to back with my old Samsung and it was having worse reception everywhere. So I requested a refund. On September 9th their employee Milan emailed me that the refund requested and will take 10-14 days to proceed. Over 20 business days later I still had no refund posted on my account. I sent him an email again, he said that he was going to request it again with his account manager. I'm pretty sure this company us a one man show but Milan was trying to make it seem like there's more than one person involved probably to justify the delays. So on October 17th after I sent him an email saying that I need my refund ASAP or I'm getting my bank involved he refunded me right away but 96,**$ short because they excluded the shipping and restocking fees?!... Are you serious... after I was so patient with you... and don't you guys get attracted by their discount deals because there are no deals. They post the cheaper prices every month. I will stay away from them in future and recommend everyone to do the same! You'll be better off with big well known companies than with these scamers.

The refund was issued within the indicated timeframe. We did let you know about the possible restocking fee when you asked for the return.

The phone is fully functional with Fido as our technicians tested it. Your area might not have the best support from Fido for this Global model. The same phone was purchased by another client and it worked perfectly with his carrier. I understand you might be upset, as such, we recommend finding a bigger carrier company like Bell or Rogers than the cheaper options like Fido.

Poor Customer Service

I had ordered the Xiaomi 12S Ultra on October 5th, 2022 with full payment by interac. The phone arrived on November 23rd well a month after their published arrival date. I had indicated that I was going to be on the road and needed the phone before. The agent Milan kept in touch during this period and gave me the usual reasons that the phone was delayed (supply issues, transportation delays etc.).

Finally when the phone arrived, it was not configured in English and I had no choice but to send it back. This I did promptly on November 24th.

Even after their assurance that the refund would be made, I have yet to receive it (January 12th, 2023). First it was their daily limit, silence for 2 weeks without responding to my emails. Again I get this email from Constantin and Milan (not sure if these are their real names) that the refund will be made in 24 hours. It has now been 45 days and counting without seeing any refund amount.

I have no choice but to pursue legal options at this point. To anyone considering doing business with this group, please reconsider.

I ordered an Honor Magic4 pro on October 19th of last year. On November 19, I checked back with the company as I had still not received my phone yet. The next day, Milan responded to let me know that there was a postal delay and that they would be shipping it in 1 week. On December 1, there was still no progress on my shipment so I followed up again. This time, Milan told me that the phone was "stuck in customs" and that they would, again, ship it in one week. On December 14, I messaged them again, and this time I was told that the original device that I ordered (black) was lost in transit and no longer available. Milan asked if I was okay with the cyan version, which I said that I was. On December 16, I requested a refund if I would not receive my order before Christmas. On December 18, Milan promised that it would be delivered by then. On January 10, I finally requested a refund. On January 12, I again requested a refund. Milan responded telling me that they would be unable to provide it due to "high volume transactions" and would be limited to only sending Interact refunds during the weekend, and offered to send it through PayPal, which I don't have. I followed up on January 16, and again on February 3. On February 5, Ira emailed me back and promised the refund "tomorrow". On February 6, I, of course, had not received a refund. There has been no communication from the company about this issue and I am not confident I will ever receive my refund. Avoid this company!

Horrible

I hardly write reviews because negative reviews can adversely affect bonafide companies, however, when you come across a shaddy company like PDAPlaza, it becomes a duty to help other potential customers from falling victim. I have read many positive reviews on them which now make me to doubt those reviews.

I know you are thinking of buying a phone from them because their prices looks cheaper! STOP! Don't do it. Add a little more money and buy from a reliable company, it would save you the headache and stress. The stress and headaches is not worth the $50 or $100 or $200 that you are thinking of saving. However, if you are as dumb as me and decides to proceed to buy anything from them, do not send them email /interac money transfer because of 3% discount! I repeat, on no account should you send them email/interac money transfer. If you insist on buying something from them, you must use Paypal to make the purchase to safeguard your hard earned money. This is a very very shaddy company. I have sent emails to them several times with vague responses. I have spoken with them several times with same vague promises that they would refund my money over 4-5 days in bits of $400-$500, that there is limit to how much they can transfer on a daily basis etc. If I get paid for all the time I have wasted interacting with this shaddy company, I would be richer. Please do not become a victim like myself - avoid this company completely, run to a genuine company to buy your phone and thank me later.
