Worst company ever.

I ordered Asus rog 5 ultimate. Paid the full amount via email e transfer. After 1.5month they say they still need time for the phone to be shipped. So i asked them to refund my money as i couldn't wait any more. They said they shall return my $2000 in $400 installments every week due to some interact limit. Its been three weeks since and i only got 400 back after begging them. Please donot buy anything from them. Im going to consumer court

My nephew ordered a Smartphone on Jan 9,2023 and PDA not ship out more than 2 weeks after fully paid the fee.
Emailed to customer service and asking for cancellation of order. On Feb 2,2023, Milan confirm the order was cancelled and refund might take 5 business days to process as stated in PDA Terms of Use 3.9.
Today (Apr3,2023, 2 months after order cancellation), the refund is still not receive. My nephew was contacting customer service for more than 5 times in the past to inquire and Milan always promised that the refund would be done next business day. However, no refund has been done and PDA is not keeping his promised which stated on the Terms of Use.
I would suggest people seriously consider before placing an order on PDA even their price is vey attractive.

I order and paid in full on Dec. 12,2022. Milan (person representing the company) said the product was going to be shipped on Dec 28. Never did...keep giving excuses that he was not receiving from customs, and finally on January 30,2022 said he was not going to ship it. He was supposed to refund the money on Friday Jan. 27, finally after several emails, he refunded the money on January 31th, 7 and a half weeks after he received the initial payment. PDA plaza is not BBB accredited.

NO REFUND GIVEN YET

I ordered and purchased an iPhone on Feb 2,2020. After a lot of back and forth emails, Alex stated that they could not fulfill my order and would issue me a refund by June 24,2020.

On June 24, he stated that it was a holiday and that he would refund me right away on June 25th. It is now June 26th and I have received NO refund for the product.

I would have expected that if a company keeps your money for 5 months, the least they could do is refund you the full amount if you did not receive their product. Very disappointed in their business model. Will update IF I receive a refund from this company.

Hello, the refund was issued within the indicated timeframe provided to you after you asked for the cancellation.

It seems you were having trouble getting your funds back from PayPal, not from us.
As noted, we did the refund within the indicated timeframe. After that, the funds went to the same place where they originated.

If you had trouble getting your funds back from PayPal, you had to contact PayPal. We have nothing to do with that.
We did the refund on our side, but we do not control the funding processes of your PayPal account. Best regards,

I ordered and paid for a Nokia xr20 Jan 8th 2022 and have yet to receive it. They have now quit replying/making excuses. Last contact was March 25th. They are still advertising this cell as available in 10 to 15 business days after order but now at a higher price. I'm guessing they just ignored me hoping I would cancel so they didn't have to fulfill at the lower price. After not receiving a reply since March 25th I sent a message asking for a refund and immediately received a reply saying the order had been cancelled confirming my suspicions of their inaction. I would definitely not recommend this retailer.

I ordered a phone on February 20,2022, after two months I still didnot received it, so I asked to cancel on April 21, They comfirmed and said it would take 10 business days to get the refund back. After 30 days, no refund. I sent them email, they replies they had trouble with this transaction through e-transfer, and asked my Paypal account on May 20th, they said the refund will be done on the next business day via PayPal. On May 25 called them by phone, they said I would get me refund by May 27, nothing happend so far. I have been trying to find out where my money is. They will not answer my emails and calls. I am getting sick and tired of their lies. I talked to my local police today, I will wait and see.

They are crooks and should be in jail for theft.

I want my full refund+interest back and I won't stop until you do.

It's legit and they will ship your phone, eventually. Keyword: eventually. When it says 15-25 days to ship, it means realistically you'll wait about 2 months to get your phone. At least that was my experience, 25 days means 25 business days, which is about 6 weeks. When the deadline came around (6 weeks after paying for the order), they just started making various excuses why it will be delayed. From protests in Hong Kong causing slow shipping (really?) to delays at customs due to Thanksgiving, etc. Eventually got a free item to compensate for the delay, but it did take about 55 days to receive the phone. Also note they are Russian people based in Montreal and they don't even try to hide it, the replies from their customer service were made in a russian e-mail client with russian characters (content written in English, but in my opinion this is very unprofessional). At least customer service is responsive.
Conclusion: It's actually much faster to order phones directly from Chinese websites, than from this "Canadian" retailer.

I write to know why i didnt have my order. Alex give me the excuse they have 25 day to send it to me. I count the day. And the 27 nov. That gonna be the time limite... And i didnt have yet news about my order... I think this is a scam... I dont suggest this company to no one... That is bad survice for online company... +. For cell company. When poeple order a phone. They need cell in top a week. Not in pass few month... And one star for your no survice is to much

Hello Sonia, You bought an item on sale that ships within 15-25 business days after purchase. This message was shown when purchasing the item and you must read and accept it to move to checkout. You were fully aware of this timeframe.

There is no wrongdoing from our side. Your item will be shipped by the 25th business day.

If you bought the item for the full price, we would be able to receive and ship it within 5-10 business days.

Dishonest and time wasters

I attempted to purchase a phone through this company and it was a total waste of time. Their website states a shipping time of 15-25 working days however I have doubts that this is actually the case. After the requisite time passed, they continued to delay shipping the product I purchased. They continually cite shipping delays from their supplier in Hong Kong as an excuse however I ordered and received something from Hong Kong IN THE TIME BETWEEN when my order was supposed to ship and the time I ultimately cancelled my order. I'm not sure how you can even run a successful business this way. What I suspect they're doing is waiting until enough people have ordered products from them then they have a bulk shipment sent from their supplier overseas. This would at least explain why so many people report wildly varying shipping times. I simply don't understand why they aren't upfront with people about this other than maybe this isn't a great business model to begin with. Luckily I paid for my order with Sezzle so I was able to secure a full refund without any hassle. If you do decide to buy something from them, DO NOT USE E-TRANSFER. Use your credit card, Sezzle or PayPal so you at least have a third party dispute option. They only reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one is that they do respond to customer service inquiries promptly and they're polite.

Edit: More lies in their reply to this review which I can prove with correspondence. On September 23 they assured me it would ship on October 10. On October 12 they assured me they would ship on October 18. On October 19 they assured me they would ship on October 24. If you already had my order then why didn't you just ship it when you said you were having shipping delays for the third time? You're liars and time wasters. Sezzel would have processed the refund regardless, You're the one who did not ultimately meet the bare minimum of our transaction. You guys are clowns. Mi4Canada has already shipped me the exact same phone, brand new in box for the same price.

Hi, We did let you know that there will be a slight delay with your order as you ordered a special model. You did note to us that you can accept this, and yet you did not decide to wait. No need to gasp and contest everything. We already received your order, but you opened a Sezzle dispute before even warning us that you wanted to cancel.

Not sure why you did not let us know beforehand regarding the cancellation as it confused both us and Sezzle, but that is fine.

FYI, we were the ones that issued the refund, not Sezzle.

Although I have yet to receive my order as I just placed it today, their customer service has so far been stellar and Marc-Andre has been extremely helpful in resolving issues around a personal request in my order.

I rarely review businesses but I'm writing this review because I strongly believe in supporting a Canadian business over purchasing items from an overseas distributor or supplier, or Amazon. As such, I want to provide some counterweight to the negative reviews on this site.

If this review is still up, that means I received the order smoothly and also received a refund for over-payment in a timely manner.

Excellent customer service

Buying online can be an exhaustive experience. PDA Plaza customer service staff really made things as reassuring as it can be. Although there was some delay beyond their control, they kept me appraised of the situation until the final delivery. This is my second purchase from them and both experience has been excellent.

Ordered a Xiaomi mi 11 ultra from them about month ago and got it yesterday. It took a while but if you want something that is not apple out Samsung it is worth the wait. Any questions sent through their website were answered promptly and they only accepted payment when the device was received at their facility and shipped. I will be ordering from them when this mi 11 ultra needs replacing in 2025!

I had never heard of this company before buying my phone. Did a bit of digging and found many good reviews, so I figured to try it. Was very happy that it was based in Canada, so no duty fees from USA which can sometimes discourage a purchase. Shipping took longer than I would have liked, but was as advertised. Overall happy with doing business with them.

Overall had a great experience and the phone was brand new with the right specifications. No additional custom charges for me. Only issue I had was that it took way beyond the expected delivery date as mentioned during the purchase, but they compensated by shipping it via express service.

Spent less here than elsewhere

Probably spent about 50-100 less than I would have anywhere else. The shipping time was roughly 3 weeks, but I wasn't in a huge rush so it was not big deal to me. Got the international version, so it still has some random parts are still in Chinese. Would buy from them again.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. Their customer service is excellent. Milan stayed in contact with me throughout the whole shipping process making sure I was up to date with the shipping status. I received my phone in the United States on time and it was just as PDA Plaza promised. It was brand new in a sealed Apple box straight from the factory. This is a legit company with no funny business at all. I would not buy from a company outside of the US but this company. If you have complaint about delays, just please read carefully your expected shipment date and just know that the time frame is based on "Business Calendar" days. This will allow you not to get confused and desperate and start blaming PDA Plaza on your order being delayed. Was browsing on red flag deals and reddit for anything good and came upon this store. At first I was pretty skeptical about them due to the negative reviews on here but gave it a try with PayPal. I got myself a Samsung S10 and received it 25 work days later as noted. No problem with the phone and customer service was quick. I recommend this store to anyone who's willing to wait a bit.
