I am so disappointed that Books-A-Million started using Pitney Bowes as a shipping partner. It adds up to five days to the shipping time. I hope BAM is saving a lot of money because their customers are not pleased.
If I could give zero stars, I would. There was proof of delivery at my door and photo from PB but I never received it. I asked my next door neighbors if they'd taken it and I believed them, since they couldn't have (two men in a household, the others are a newborn, his parents, and old grandmother). PB probably stole it after giving false proof and doesn't want to deal with me. I have nothing positive to say about them after this.
Package never arrived, and it still shows that it is sitting at the their warehouse, for the last 2 months. It went from the initial scan of origin to a 2nd location, so they did receive the package & started to move it through their system. Only for it to get lost. The customer service tool directs me to the company that I ordered from, but that doesn't fix the issue that the package is just sitting at their ware house. Luckily the company is sending a replacement, with a different courier but I hope they never use this service again.
Worst shipper ever. I ordered products from China (mistake #1). After a month, I checked and they sent me a tracking number showing the product was with Pitney Bowes in California. Another month later it showed it in my home town. I called Pitney Bowes to arrange to pick it up and they literally told me they do not handle packages! Laughable. When I explained I had a tracking number with their name and location - they still denied they transported packages. It's now been 90 days and no one knows where the package is. I asked for a refund for my purchase and I was told to be patient - it would eventually get to me. I will never do business with a company who tells me they ship with Pitney Bowes - either the company is a scammer or they don't know that Pitney Bowes accepts packages and then who knows what they do with them.
Unfortunately my favorite leggings and sportswear company uses Pitney Bowes. The packages typically come from west coast and I'm on the east coast. The packages sometimes take weeks to arrive after being shipped. Super inefficient shipping company. I'll probably stop doing business with my fave company because they continue to use Pitney Bowes' terrible shipping service.
We shut down because of COVID and invoices went unpaid for three months. We understand and respect that a company will charge late fees and expected the same from Pitney Bowes.
The big difference is that Pitney Bowes late fees are literally 100% of the charges due- that would not be legal as a penalty in California law but they don't seem to care and would not budge at all.
Customer service was the coldest and most arrogant I've encountered in my 27 years in business.
Ultimately I decided to pay only the balance due, no late charges and sent their machine back to them. They are demanding payment of late fees every day but at this point I don't care what action they take.
A US company that has no mercy for their customers after the most challenging times of this century deserves nothing and that's what they'll get from me.
I don't know where you guys get to call yourselves a company because you guys suck. Tell me how I placed the order September 23 on my birthday from G-Star Raw a company based in Amsterdam. My package was supposed to be delivered September 28 and it is now December 1. I continuously check my packages and it still says it's at Pitney Bowes. Who are these losers? Just here with terrible customer service telling me that I can't get any more information from my own package and the vendor has to send an email in order to get more information to provide to me. This is bull$#*! and I spent $200 on my order and it's sitting somewhere in Pitney OR someone it was a G-Star package and took it. Who knows? Besides that I'm never ordering from G-Star ever again until they switch from Pitney Bowes back to USPS or UPS or even FedEx because Pitney Bowes is the worst ever. Hope you go bankrupt.
Tried all day to contact them. Could not download postage. Our postal meter requested we contact Pitney Bowes. After being in a queue for half an hour were told no one was available try online. Went online it said we needed to phone Pitney Bowes. Tried Online chat - no one was available on that ever.
Beware this company has no legal document to prove that they will penalize a company and charge you a late fee over you changing of your Autopay from a minimum payment amount to a full payment amount if a current statement was just posted to your account with no prior balance. The company will say it's their system and keep collecting late fees to no end, they will claim there is no manager to speak with and just deny your dispute. I would highly recommend staying away from this company.
Sad and shameless. PB confiscates items sent from England as being " restricted items ".
Absolutely untrue, items are perfectly legit. Three months later same items are being sold by on Ebay
At exuberant prices. This makes no sense and it happened to me twice, so twice lost things that were vere dear to me.
Mails are not replied, or with platitudes and fallacies.
Sad and inexcusable.
The absolute worst service ever. Lost packages. Wrong item sent. Then if you have to phone them up…good luck. The customer service is the worst I've experienced.
How can they justify the fees, which basically means they charge what the hell they want. There is no sense to the pricing. Import charges which are all over the place and they charge them even when no import charges are payable.
Do not use this service.
My package has been "in transit" for days. The delivery date has come and gone. It's been almost a month since my package shipped and no shipping updates provided. I needed this package for a certain occasion and I'm not sure it'll be here in time. AWFUL
At this point you might just shut down your company and stop inconveniencing people, I ordered a package over 2 weeks ago on shein (mind you I have never had an order delay with shein until Pitney bowes) today is my move out date from my current apartment and the package is still not here under Pitney Bowes it says that it's out for delivery it's been out for delivery for almost a week now. Which is too damn long! The whole purpose of a shipping company is to delivery things on time if you can't do that what's the purpose of your company really!
Zero stars
I was trying to close a lease account due to death. PB held us hostage to buy out lease, they would not waive this. Once we paid and account is closed, now the want us to pay property tax on something that was leased!
All PB WANTS IS YOU MONEY! Bad non US based service. Can't escalate, can't talk to " back office".
Never do business with them!
Package is coming from Chicago to Detroit, it's a 4 hour drive. They let it sit in Illinois for 3 days. Then it went to Columbus to sit some more. It's supposed to be here today on the 10th day, but it's not looking likely. Pathetic.
Not sure how you process your items. Its been two weeks since I ordered something and its been stuck in your Carol Stream Facility. I live 30 mins away from that facility. No way it should take two weeks to deliver. I might as well drive and pick it up from you. Unreal...
The delivery service is poor at best. 2 weeks ago I was expecting a delivery! I got a message the day after it was supposed to be delivered saying"attempted delivery but front steps were inaccessible " I was cameras all over my yard and no delivery was attempted! Again I was expecting another delivery yesterday and once again nothing was delivered! Not impressed!
Pitney Bowes has been by far the worst company I've had to deal with in my job. They are unreasonable. Charge late fees even though checks are sent 14 days in advance (10 business days). When trying to speak with a customer representative about billing or about our lease agreement, it's been almost impossible to get ahold of someone that can actually help us. It seems our business is locked into them for another year, but I wouldn't mind breaking the contract, paying whatever fee we need to, and moving on to a more competent and less frustrating company... if such a company exists.
Pitney Bowes is awful! The worst! Avoid them at all costs!
I've never come across such slow service. What's more, they don't provide any customer support and just change the day in tracking every time (it was 20th today, now it is changed to 21th). I hope this delivery company will close, and no one will ever use them, as it's been a month since I can't get my online order. Awful!
There are other options for shipping and USPS rates that are not Pitney Bowes. The contract terms are not in your best interest. The fees when the contract is over are exorbitant. They will charge your card without hesitation. As a business owner of many years, this company does not offer a great product but instead traps you into paying fees on fees on fees.
Answer: I didn't. The company I ordered from uses them. I would not choose to ship through Pitney Bowes.
Answer: They are a scam they are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
