I cant remember any problems since the time I started using this service. The only negative moment they sometimes change the commissions and those transaction policies so I`d advise to keep in touch with updates not to lose some of your money.

There are too many complaints to this service. And, as for me, it talks more than any official press-release from company. I have several problems with PayPal and all of them were very expensive for me

I haven't had a bad experience with Paypal so far, and I've been with them for about 2 years. I sometimes wonder about transaction fees, but I guess that can't be helped with any of these type of services. At least I'm happy to say customer service is always very good.

Good... most of the time.

I use PayPal for both personal & business transactions. Overall it is a great website and keeps transactions secure when you're buying over the internet.
However, if you do have a query, contacting the customer service is almost impossible. If you do mange to find the contact form or email address, all you get back is an automated email telling you to telephone so its completely pointless writing out an email in the first place... plus its no good for people who are deaf or struggle on the telephone.
For such a well known online company, I would expect their online presence to be much better for customers to contact them.

Paypal Backs crap companies Like Cupid dating sites-beware! I filed for return of my money back less than 24 hours of joining that site when I discovered it to be what I consider a joke.(getting responses from woman out of the country some 30 plus years younger that I who seem fake)
Paypal paid, without my consent, from my account after reviewing my plea to return my money. I sent the link of complaints that were listed on site jabber but they seemed not to care and still sided by cupid.com. Don't do business with these companies!

STAY AWAY

Paypal are now controlled by scammers as this has been there only way of luring people to make transactions with them and paypal will blame you for it. Do not use them cos if care is not taken, your money will be rip off. This is what they did to me until i have them reported and took legal actions on them, afterwards i was able to get back my funds

Fraud! Sold absent item.

I lost $200. The seller Sold the absent item. PayPal resolution center did nothing to help to get my money back being on scammer side. Terrible experience. Do not make deal with this irresponsible company which

I've used Paypal for years as a buyer and had heard some griping about how they treat their sellers, but always thought it was just people being negative. Once I started my own business and began accepting Paypal I understood why people hate them so much. They make biased decisions when it comes to refund requests from customers so not only am I out money, but people have been allowed to keep my products. Thanks for being an accessory to theft Paypal!

It blows my mind that after multiple phone calls, Multiple messages and trying to plead with this corporate giant that holding funds for 120 days will cripple a small business.
A small business that feeds two small kids and keeps a roof over their heads.
It's Astonishing that they can not think at side the box even when I requested to just refund my clients.
Give the money back and hold the limitations on my account I don't care.
But every answer is corporate and generic.

I will never use PayPal. Or refer them.

It is safe!

I have never been hurt using PayPal in both as seller and buyer. Have had number of issues with few purchases and every time I've got full support (and my money) from PayPal.
Highly recommended service! (Probably the only one around...)

It was a very bad experience for me((( Though they declare Buyer Protection however they work together with scammers. I've ordered an item and got absolutely worthless piece of crap. I've opened a case with PayPal, provided all evidences. At first they told me to return a thing on my own expense to be able to receive my money back(it would cost me the same amount of money and wouldn't make any sense) After long discussion they said I'd get my expense back when a seller gets an item back what sounds very tricky too since it's not save to go to a post office during a current pandemic situation at all plus I have no reason to trust that seller and to put more money on risk. For my proposition to simply give me my money back and then deal with a seller they've just denied a case. I won't use it any more and don't recommend PayPal to anybody

Not bad

The dispute outcome depends on the rep overseeing the claim, some reps don't care. It's best to get them on the phone. It's hard to trick the automated system into transferring your call to an actual agent. When reps dismiss my claim, I try again. You have to be patient, and polite but eventually they do get you a refund if they understand the situation. I've had bad customer service where agent just hang up, or redirected me to a dead end etc. I wouldn't use them for my business, or anything crucial, I don't use their other services because of unreliability.

No communication at all?

Ive been trying to send my own money from paypal back to my new debit card, after giving multiple id's to the xoom service to have my transfers be denied when one already went through. To paypal customer support not even having an active phone for me to call when im trying to transfer a decent sum of money. I send a message on the website and wait... and wait... and wait some more. Maybe try calling a different number. Nope. Looks like i cant get my money and pay rent due to whats suppose to be a business not even having the capability to help its own customers who put thousands of dollars into there work.

Hate Paypal

I hate PayPal. There's no point in using them because they allow scammers to scam you. My husband purchased a handheld chain saw for my Christmas and he received a chain, worth. 50 After filing a dispute multiple times, we were denied. They are no better than the crooks themselves.

No human, no phone, no email. Only automated non-responses. They do not read submission. Seems to favor Chinese importer of counterfeit goods. Goods shipped after order cancelled as counterfeit. Seller refused to take back. PayPal doesnt even respond except with automated we will see what seller says. At this rate I will close account and just take major loss. NEVER AGAIN.

They keep locking me out of my account (esp cause I am travelling). They send an SMS each and every time i want to login. Now my sim doesn't work in some countries when I travel so I can't login

The support in horrendous! They don't do anything to help. Wanted me to call them, which I did (international call). Such a long wait, in the end they said we can't do anything!

I received some financial help from a friend during this crisis, which was urgently needed. Or should I say PayPal received that money. And then proceeded to block me from withdrawing it. For weeks. Numerous contacts with their customer service didn't solve the issue (what exactly the issue was is still unclear), and in the end, they said I should simply refund the money to the sender and ask them to send it to me using a different service, not PayPal. So that's what I did, but what they failed to mention was that they'd keep a juicy cut for themselves because of their horrendous exchange rate policy. So that's it, I still haven't gotten the help that was offered, my friend also lost some money in the process, and PayPal happily keeps making money off people under circumstances like this. It's an utter and complete disgrace!

With hold payments for no reason, don't read emails just reply with. Standard response every time. Sold a handbag on eBay, buyer paid, tracked postage so could see when she received it and still PayPal won't release my money, they just hold in their account for no reason. EBay need to find another provider,

Unknown transactions

I have had unknown transactions on this site! The first time I called and they gave me the steps I could take to get it cleared away! After doing everything they asked they did absolutely nothing to help me! Just recently they have dipped thier hands in my account again for unknown reasons using eBay! I haven't bought or sold anything so that makes no sense! I'm appalled by this site and thier customer service! A bunch of crooks in my opinion! I will not return Todo any further business transactions and can't wait to deactivate my account!

I have used PayPal for over 10 years now and have never had an issue that they could not help me with. Until now. I was the victim of a bait and switch scam and according to PayPal's new rues if the item is remotely close to what you ordered, tough luck, So when you get an item that is plastic instead of stained glass as advertised, you get to keep that hunk of junk because you ordered it. There are more scams out there than ever these days and PayPal siding with the scammers left a really bad taste in my mouth.
