It took 4.5 Months to get my money refunded from a fraudulent transaction. It could have been done in 4 days. They lied about their progress. They lied about their completion dates. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE for anything important.
I love Inbox Dollars. I play games, do surveys and complete offers all for money and I can choose from store gift cards or money to be sent to my paypal.
PayPal is horrible. I used them a couple times. My ex fiancé did not have a bank account so he used PayPal as a primary source. He sent me money and with no explanation at all PayPal placed a 180 day hold on both of our accounts. We both reached out and the only thing they told us was it was for our protection. We were both out of thousands of dollars and we lost our venue for our wedding reception. This happened in June and its now December I still have not gotten my money. This caused emotional stress on myself and my ex fiancé. We separated as a result of this. This is so unethical. They refused to allow me to appeal the decision. Each time I reach out they say I signed terms of agreement. The call center reps are extremely unprofessional and are not helpful.
So this is happened to me before and I was dumb enough to use PayPal again customers request after processing a payment from a customer it was placed on hold this payment was for services rendered before time of payment PayPal first off wanted to hold my money until after Christmas keeping in mind it was December 3 secondly after calling them and telling them it was for goods and services that had already been rendered they wanted to hold it for a week and then they told me I shouldn't use the friends and family option which makes no sense as the person as a customer and I am providing goods and services then it was necessary to call and bother my customer which felt very unprofessional asking them to confirm receipt of a physical good service that had already been rendered and still I did not get my money for four days is ridiculousI typically I use Venmo and cash appAnd my money is always available immediately I will never use PayPal again after I get my money and will be more than willing to share my dissatisfaction with anyone willing to listen

I used Paypal 2 years ago, but last 6 months they limited my account and hold my money for 180 days. Today is the day I can withdraw my money but they sent all to Paypal with note: Payment to: Paypal; Damages caused to PayPal by Acceptable Use Policy violation(s);. And my balance is $0 now.

PayPal makes checking out so incredibly easy. I've never had a problem with them. Once I ordered products from a Facebook scammer, and never received what I had ordered. Do not do business with this company I have for over 16 years and just now they are holding $48.71 of my money for 21 days, I have called 4 times and spoke to a supervisor and they will NOT release and actually have no reason Except it is a security measure. Paypal takes payments and then holds thoses payment for over a month not allowing you access to those funds. They claim processing issues, but rather are collecting interests on the millions of dollars they have from you and not letting you spend it. SCAM ALERTS Cusotmer service representatives lie and tell oyu it will take a few more days, each time you call to get access to your funds. PAYPAL ploicy is to have you send in smaller payments if you want to see them credited to your account in a timely manner.
Because they do not treat people very well, they just do not care. I had my account frozen in 2012. I was quite naive at the time so I was buying items from EBay I did not always like them, so because there was a few disputes my account got frozen, I said I was sorry but unfortunately there is no second chances. I open other accounts and they would find out after a time. I am very lucky that Ebay have made different payments which is a god send for me, but I wanted to buy from another company, but guess what they would only take PayPal, this company is a nuisance. What I love about PayPal is the uncomplicated navigation of the website and application. From the dashboard to sending to linking and my profile, each one of these is easy to comprehend. Last October, I was able to accept and confirm the offer they gave, a $5 gift for a limited time, and Paypal users who would accept it. I was able to link my Paypal account in Gcash. However, the minimum transaction is 500 pesos, I don't know why. But if they could make it like 250 pesos, it would be better since 500 is a high minimum for normal transactions in the daily life of common users
My wife is currently having a problem trying to transfer money to her bank account which is in PayPal means but instead they put a 72 hour hold on our money. Naturally this has stressed my wife out and myself because we are trying to get a van today to hold our 4 children. She pleaded with a representative through there customer service line and he couldn't have been any more heartless and that's what PayPal calls customer service. Do yourself a favor never use this god awful site again save yourself like so many before you couldn't till it was to late!
I recently moved country and my mobile number has changed along with it. However, without giving me any warning and never requiring a OTP before, PayPal suddenly said that they need to send a OTP to my OLD number. I contacted customer service (which was a horrible nightmare as they don't provide me with an email address), and they said I have to go back to my old country in order to assist me.
SUCH BAD SERVICE.

I disputed a charge via PayPal about a purchase that I made from Fashion Nova that I didn't receive. PayPal agreed to refund me, but instead of receiving a refund, I was actually charged AGAIN for this order that I didn't even receive. I was literally charged twice, two payments of $38.38, which is $76.76 that I lost. This is absolutely ridiculous! PayPal won't help me. My bank won't help me. Fashion nova won't help me. This is causing me so much distress! I shouldn't be charged twice for an order that I didn't even receive!

I cancelled an automatic payment to a merchant who had billed me three times for the same item (and did not ship). Then I went three times through PayPal resolution - the same answer each time even when I asked simply for additional clarification.
Their reason for paying the merchant was that I cancelled my automatic payments after the merchant billed me. Almost all documents I submitted in resolution were internal PayPal created documents -specifically an email confirming I cancelled my automatic payments to this merchant 10/6 (that email stated clearly I would have to go to the merchant to reinstate automatic payments, which at the time I believed) and a document showing the most recent automatic payment sent to the merchant from Paypal was 10/13 (seven days after I cancelled automatic payments!).
Their "resolution" process was simply to repeat the reason they let the payment go through was that I cancelled the automatic payment after the merchant billed me.
How can a company get away with these practices? They say one thing in black and white and then say the opposite in black and white. Apparently the answer to that question is just fine - they are clearly still used in many places. Maybe because merchants get all the protection (and can access consumer accounts), and consumers have no protection nor recourse.
I removed all my credit cards then changed credit card numbers to be sure they could not access my funds anymore on behalf of merchants. I have to keep my account with them open as one company only pays me through PayPal. But I will never choose to use them, I'll buy elsewhere if I can if I find merchants who only use them (now a suspicious move from a merchant) and I'll be advocating that the one company pay me through some other service instead so I can close this account and be done.
I honestly don't know where to start with this review. By far the worst company I have ever experienced in my life. I will never use them again and strongly advise anyone considering using them to look at the alternatives. Countless money holds that last months, security reviews, big fees, basically any excuse to hold on to your money as long as they can they will. Terrible customer service that feels like they are deliberately trying to annoy you. Finally they awarded a dispute to a buyer who told complete lies about me and my product. I had no idea there was a claim even taking place as I didn't receive the emails they sent so they automatically refunded the seller over £1300 and allowed him to keep all the stock! They declined my appeal and kept switching me from one customer service representative to the next who just kept repeating the same lines they've been trained to over and over like robots. As soon as I found out there was a claim happening I contacted them but they said it was too late…the appeal had been automatically ruled in the buyers favour as I didn't respond in time. I only found out there was a claim taking place when the £1300+ Was taken out of my account. I'll never get the money back and a nefarious buyer has benefited from telling lies about me. Avoid this company like the plague. You have been warned!

I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
