I capped up my card via direct withdraw from my bank. Has cleared my bank but held for 10 days before they apply it to my account. As a safety measure...they have a backup source for my sales, holding it hostage and earning interest and cred on how big their own bank acct is. If I had not called the hold could be 30 days

Work with scammers
September 8, 2021

Scammers working with PayPal, I created my CV with Cvmaker.com online once and had to pay to download it which I did after putting so much effort. The fees weren't even revealed in the beginning! Just 1 week later they took another bigger payment unauthorized! And PayPal claims that I have authorized it

Do not use pay pal! They are helping companies from China scam people! You order something thinking it's ok because you are using pay pal. They send you some piece of crap instead. When you try and get a refund they want you to send it back to China giving you some crazy $#*! address to send it to. Costing you the same as the product you bought. Just to have the company refuse delivery. Even though pay pal advertises a product protection plan where they say they will reimburse you for incidence like this... then they don't. Plus it is impossible to get a hold of anyone at PayPal. They must be getting kickbacks from these companies. Such a scam. I will never ever use pay pal again.

I'm agree with all this reviews, because it happened to me. It's the same situation over and over. Pay Pal don't protect the customer against all these fraudulent companies. They keep doing transactions with this bad companies. Use your credit card or debit card from your bank and they will protect you against this fraudulent companies. DO NOT USE PAY PAL at all. Customer Service is awful, bad they are trained to be against the customer. I lost $500.00 in a wedding dress and they never gave me any support. They supported the China company.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of my job, I have to use PayPal. My employer doesn't give me much choice. However, if I had the choice PayPal wouldn't be it. If you're having any issue, good luck getting help from customer support. It takes them ages to respond and once they do, it's usually a generic response that doesn't help the case. Don't get me started on the conversion rates.

Is really frustrating using this service they always find an excuse to keep your money in hold for as long as they can even after your account is verified and legit even if the payer or seller is verified too.ones I get my money I will not use this BS service ever.I'm so mad.

A friend that does services had her acount licked until further investigation by paypal. Someone cancelled the credit card transaction after services were rendered and it may be her word against his. Having a business license is helpful but she does erotic services from her homes. You can't get a license for being a sugar -baby.

I've had a Paypal account for many years and have been using it actively. However, if there are any problems... dont count on any help. Once a company charged me twice for the same transaction - Paypal did nothing even though the mistake was obvious. If you give your permission for any subcription, they do not care anymore, and the company that has your permission can do anything they want. Another time my transaction was rejected even though it was fully compliant with all the regulations. It was verified by someone who does not speak the language of the transaction. What happened when I contacted the support? Nothing. Only standard copy/paste replies. No explanations. No nothing.

I woke up 10 days ago and find out my Paypal account was hacked and someone spent my money on some cd keys on some scam sites. Nothing to help from Paypal, just a bunch of bs how they cannot to anythig.
So, guys, avoid Paypal, anyone can hack into Paypal and use your earned money for their benefit.

They know what the crooks are doing but do nothing to protect their users. In recent encounter of Paypal's dispute center, they ignore the evidence (USPS receipt) provided and ruled for the crooks. They are just like Facebook letting criminals run their sites.

I ordered several items and paid with paypal. They turned out to be phony sellers from China and they send the same tracking info that the package is ready for shipment. When paypal emails them they just send another email with a different date. It's been a month and I have gotten nowhere with paypal. I will not use paypal again and never buy from Chinese sellers!

Thank you for your comments. I have had to use PayPal as a necessary evil. I found it was OK until I had to have some money transferred to MY account! They charge something like 3% just to accept money into your account. This is a waste of money at any level. More competition for them would help those of us that must use them.

DO NOT pay via PayPal they are as dishonest at Indianroots clothing. Website complicated for refunds and charge you exorbitant sums on refunds that really should be covered by fraudulent companies like Indianroots. Moreover, they change currencies! I am owed in USD but it changes to CND for refunds. Go figure.

Purchased item through PayPal. The item was damaged. PayPal requested i contact merchant. Contacted merchant and got no reply for 7 weeks. I filed a dispute with Paypal. Each time I called PayPal to inquire about this, they claimed I had to wait. Finally 9 weeks later they told me to return the item AT MY EXPENSE, said they would reimburse me the shipping and refund my purchase when I provided them with tracking number. After waiting an additional month, I was told " Case has been closed, they can't track shipping to China, it is not their problem. I am out $135.30 for the product, $22.00 for shipping and no product. Don't fall for Purchase Protection Crap!

I've been using this site for years.
The last 2-3 times, after sending money, they keep holding them for weeks.
The current transaction is 'on hold' on the receiver's account for 10 days without informing me or him about what went wrong.
After several mails in communication with them, they tell me that this is normal. They will be keeping the money as long as they wish.
I wanted my money back, or released at receiver's side. They don't do anything about that.
This is stopping my business and I will migrate to other more useful platforns.

Very frustrating
April 27, 2022

22 days and counting to receive my money from PayPal. 8 days ago I was walked through all the steps with a rep to get it right. Hit "confirmed" and my bank was linked. Do I have my money 8 days later? No. New rep says try again. Was there a reason it didn't go through? "Try again," he says. Ah, I remember customer service. So long ago now.

I submitted a claim through paypal since I never received my item PayPal advised me by messaging that my refund was denied because there was a tracking # but I never received my item! This is stilling money from people and paypal should be liable! I don't know how they exist after so many bad reviews regarding similar situation as mine!

Stay away at all cost!

If you are a business owner DO NOT process with them. PayPal holds funds for days and sometimes even weeks asking you to provide the same documents you provide to open the account. They are abusing their power in order to play with your money. They customer service is absolutely horrible to say the least. Stripe might not be better but at least they do not block your money!

They say that if you use PayPal then you are protected. Someone else used my PayPal account and they will not take it off of my bill. I am going to cancel their service as soon as they allow me! Terrible customer service!

What started out to be a convenient way to purchase stuff on that e*** site turned out to be a real pain in the a**. Apparently multiple accounts can be tied to this service that they use to pay for your purchase. Very carefully watch where the money is coming from and doublecheck to make sure there are no duplicate charges. Also customer service can be very hard to reach. Apparently some sites that force you to use Paypal may be linked to a scam outfit running rampant on the online marketplace. Beware of the too good to be true deals, and do some homework on sellers before purchasing.
