If you're buying and completing a no-nonsense transaction with a business and not an individual then by all means use PayPal. If you're selling however, caveat emptor!
I recently sold a wedding dress (final sale) to the mother of the bride for $2800. Unfortunately for me, this woman was as batty as they come and after purchasing, receiving and trying on the dress, the bride changed her mind. Change of heart is not a valid reason for a return as per PayPal's own rules. Despite this and going though every appeal level at PayPal, this batsh! T crazy old woman just kept changing her story to PayPal until she had one that stuck; and returned a soiled dress back to me. PayPal is one of the worst services out there if you need to go beyond a normal transaction. Stay away and in situations similar to mine, insist on a certified cheque. Lousy customer service and lousy employees and supervisors.
Made 2 purchases because of purchase protection. First item never received and have video proof still paypal denied my case and I am out of few hundred $ second case I received broken and damaged item have proof poor packaged and paypal screwed me over again few hundred $.
Never use paypal scam companies again.
Bunch of liars and thieves.
PayPal holds the digital service seller money for 30 days under the pretext of protecting buyer. They close their ears from hearing customers. They do not communicate with buyer. They ask customers to spend time in silly processes that do not add any value.
Company charge 4% fee to seller for each transaction thats lot of money. And bad thing is that buyer can do charge back any time with in 6 months Its very risky to signup with such money transfer company. Lost of my money despite of paying them 4% commission. When you send them 1000 email no one will reply. They blindly close cases without analyzing anything looks only machines working in there office. No Value for money and waste of time and Stress dealing with Paypal
Hate this company for always putting holds on my account. They say its' for safety issues but they just make me call in to have them manually review my account and release the funds. It's a very big hassle having to deal with them.
Now recently, paypal has started to charge for refunding back. Paypal is worst ever company which charges for multiple reasons for 1 single transaction, and no company can grow if business model or ethics is to squeeze customer (with so many number of charges).
This app is by far my favorite Pay App. It is tried and true and has never let me down yet! It could not be easier to use and I think the automatic record keeping that it does, is far superior to any other Pay App out there today! I also enjoy the coupons and promotions that are frequently offered. In addition, they will donate a percentage to my charity of choice, based on my spending. Recently, they've also added a feature to use the app to raise funds for individual causes, in light of needs related to Covid, etc. It truly seems like they care about people and community, which is super important to me personally and professionally.
Had a company send me wrong item. I was made to pay for return postage to get refund. I sent back using the company's return portal. Sent item with their return label which had tracking. Can see it was delivered. Can prove it was. Company refuse refund say they havent got parcel.
So i take it up with Paypal. Open dispute. They take forever then declined saying no tracking number is supplied. OF COURSE I SUPPLIED. It's even on the application on their website! So I contact them and the woman says yes i can see it right here! And reopens case. Now its just been declined again because "no tracking was supplied".
Great. So now im out of pocket and stuffed around by not only the scam company but paypal too.
Incompetent shower of wasters...
Horrific customer service - No telephone number - takes them a day to respond to a message only to have to repeat yourself over and over again to a different agent somewhere in God knows which country each time
Never again will I use paypal..
PayPal's Resolution Center is spring loaded to believe and support the seller. That's the side Paypal makes its money, not from you or me. Dealing with Paypal's Resolution Center is a real test of endurance. If you get finished entering their required BS successfully, Paypal sends you a dun message several days later telling you to enter your complaint to the Resolution Center... like you were never there before.
Paypal are a disgrace we use them for protection when buying goods on-line. They support the China scams to no end. They refuse to refund money when they know that us their client has been scammed by some one using their services. They come up with excuse after excuse whilst protecting the Chinese scam companies. Stay away from PayPal. We must all stick together to stop PayPal from lying and cheating their clients ie us. They are crooks and should be held accountable
Paypal is a good company and they have a very good merchant account system. Paypal is primarily for businesses to take payments with. Consumers use to get a warranty against buying from sellers that ripped them off. Paypal is getting 4 stars because that system for reimbursement is not as good as it once was. Paypal recently stated that they are there to protect the seller's interests not the buyers moving forward. That being said at least they told us and we know what to expect in the future.
Paypal have a promotion going on where if you make 3 transaction for $35 you are supposed to get $25. Too avoid paying the promotion PayPal will refund you 1 cent. That seems your transaction ineligible due to the terms and conditions. They did this too me multiple times on my account and my mom's.
I have constant problems with PayPal. Access to deposited funds are denied on a regular basis for no apparent reason. When they fix the issue, they do not notify you and they do not explain or apologize. Trying to resolve the problem by phone is time-consuming with long wait times and a myriad of transfers and re-directs. PayPal is definitely not reliable for travel as you might be denied access to your funds. Not recommended
I have used paypal about 4 times in 4 years. Mostly to pay for things I bought on ebay. The reason, ebay only lets you pay with paypal. The last thing I paid for never showed up. I complained to paypal and what ended up happening was "My" account getting restricted. Apprently the ebay seller who had a good rating was in some fraud or something and because I sent a payment to him for an item I never received, they limited my account until I sent all types of proof. SS, DL, Utility bill. Finally after 45 days the made it normal again. I think I am done using paypal and buying off ebay.
I use this payment method for a couples years until last week. I got fraud, open a case and they close it saying i made the transaction. I keep trying to tell them it was a fraud but they keep replies me with $#*!ed non sense automated answers. I was lucky it was only 44 $ but beware if you trust this scammers the only protection you get it they accuse you and keep telling it your family members (i m alone). They are part of the scammer!
Tried for 4 days to reach a human being. I thought all purchases were on 4 pay. They charged me a late charge on a late charge. Trying to get information is horrible. I use Paypal a lot because I do like the Ebay guarantee of purchase when using Paypal. They are maybe the most deceptive company I have ever dealt with.
I use paypal few years for money transfer. I wish it had better support center, sometimes it takes several days to resolve simple issue for them. I guess paypal is most popular service but it’s not perfect
PayPal Is holding MY money for a 21 day MINIMUM when the customer and I confirm satisfaction with the product/service. They hold money to collect their own interest. PayPal has impossible customer service. Hours waiting on the phone to be transferred to a manager which is a ringing unanswered phone. You have options. Choose another option if you would like to access your money.
I've been using Paypal for a long time now. Not because it's good, but because it's more convenient to make purchases and that every merchant uses it. If you ever purchase an item on Paypal from sites such as eBay and the seller offers returns, never claim the item is fake even if it is cause you will need to pay someone to verify it is fake or get some sort of proof somewhere. Instead, just say you want to return the item to the seller, and then leave negative feedback. I've lost over $500 because I couldn't get proof buying a Hermes belt on eBay.
Answer: I would not recommend PayPal to anyone for anything they're a joke of a business
Answer: Paypal will NOT be on your side if the item is not as described. I bought an item that was totally wrong, advertised as "handmade, hand quilted, made of brushed Kona cotton", picture was beautiful with wonderful quilting and vibrant colors and I was buying from a company from Texas. I received an item from Texas, not handmade, not hand quilted, not vibrant colors, not brushed cotton and it was just a picture printed on cheap polyester/nylon fabric. Hideous. I paid $99.90. Company first offered to refund $30, nope, still way too expensive for a cheap quilt that I wouldn't even use for my pets. Then said if I return the "quilt" to China at my expense they would refund the money. Cost to return? $70. Paypal agreed with this company, denied my claim and I'm sitting here with something I would feel cheated if I paid $10. Paypal is not the company it once was. Use your credit card as that company will have your back. Looking to see what a better option is than Paypal. 20 year customer and I'm done. I do not think anyone actually reads our messages to Paypal.
Answer: They have become a money laundry scamming allowing company. Stay away at any cost.
Answer: USPS delievered it to the wrong address my pacakge was supposed to be delievered too 35710 Bay Morgan Ln, Fallbrook, CA 92028 when USPS delivered it to an address simillar to this one 12354 Alcatal Street (do not know the exact address since they did not email me, but you can call USPS and ask, and that is how I found out) Fallbrook, CA 92028, right city and zip code, far away address.
Answer: I'm thinking someone has to work there, if you send messages you will get a canned reply, I get the same response from 10 messages, basically "suck it up buttercup, you have just been played" but if you try to actually talk to a person good luck.
Answer: They dont. They wait for you to forget it. You get money back if you fill in a form after 180 days.
Answer: Do never send money to PayPal. That money is lost. This company has become a Giants money laundry company.
Answer: No there is not. PayPal protects scammers. Be sure to never use them.
Answer: It doesn't matter if you report them or not PayPal won't do nothing about it they continued to let the scammers operate on their site and do not protect consumers
Answer: SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH THAT LOT, THEY CLAIM TO REFUND AMOUNTS PAID FOR ITEMS THAT DO NOT ARRIVE THATS "BS" I HAVE HAD 3 SUCH CLAIMS FROM 14 TRANSACTIONS AND HAVE NEVER GOT A REFUND DESPITE THEIR CLAIMS, THEY ARE CROOKS, FULL STOP, KEEP WELL CLEAR OF THEM.
