Should be brought up on charge and google should be charge also for not monitoring their site! Total scammers stealing money from hard working people! Worse dishonesty there is!
As everyone else writes. Somehow they have the search optimization so that when you search for passport renewal they come up first. Its a rip off and not part of the US governement
Unfortunately I was scammed. Passport USA is stealing money and possibly using identity security information to cause further damage. TELL EVERYONE AND REPORT THIS TO REAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS! Be sure to call your credit card company and have them remove the charge right away as well as put up security flag for the fraudulent Passport USA.
Luckily, I didn't pay at the end of being scammed, but I did end up entering all of my private and personal info. I'm SO ANGRY! Don't fall for it! Make sure you go to a. GOV site!
Wish I had searched reviews before paying the $38 for nothing. I'd give zero stars if possible. The same forms are on the US government website for free!
I blame a sick kid and no sleep for falling for my first online scam. I feel sick myself about it. Now to cancel / change whatever I can before they take advantage of my personal info!
Didn't realize this was not associated with the Government passport services. Once I realized this and tried to get a refund, I was told this is a service providing me with help in the passport process. WHO NEEDS HELP? IT'S SPELLED OUT ON THE GOVERNMENT WEBSITE. My lack of attentiveness cost me $35. Don't go near this site.
Man I got duped! To my chagrin I dumbed up on this one! The very thing I try to watch for I got zinged on! Thats read the fine print! It was only after mailing the documents off did my eyes fall to the line were it says they are not associated with any government agency, AARP IS RIGHT! If it looks to good to be true then it probably is not worth the time and money to be bothered with it! CANT GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING! I will be requesting a refund!
Took my money got nothing. Total rip off.the took the money 99 dollars and got no refund. The number is out of this country and they will not return calls or emails. Your just sol.
This organization is a SCAM! They do not assist you in completing ANYTHING! They provide you with the passport application form which you can OBTAIN FREE from the Post office. $38.00 for NOTHING! Stay AWAY from this site!
I am absolutely appalled and disgusted in myself for falling for this scam. I am a first time passport purchaser and was unknowing of what I was looking at. I found this site, paid the fees and printed out the forms I needed to get the ball rolling. I was quite satisfied that I had done this on my own without asking for help... BOY WAS I WRONG! I had a conversation with my co-workers about what I had done (unfortunately months after the purchase was made) and was told it seemed very odd. They asked me what site I had gone and then proceeded to print THE SAME FORMS THAT I PAID FOR FOR FREE ON AN OFFICIAL POST OFFICE SITE! Needless to say I am extremely angry about this. Being a single mom, making little money to be SCAMMED. Yes, it was only $38 but $38 out of money I could have used for groceries. I am extremely disappointed and I hope this site gets shut down.
This is the worst attempt at scamming hard working people out of $$$ for purely profit. They make it seem like it's a site to print out official US Documents for Passports and then DECEIVE you into paying a fee that looks like it's part of the process to obtain a passport.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE thinking that you are filling out your application online. They charge you for a form that you can fill out for free, and you STILL need to pay for your passport fee. They literally just took the few dollars I had set aside for our fee. Complete ripoff. I can't believe I just fell for this.
This website is a total fraud, got scammed for $147, do not recommend. Luckily I fixed everything, again TOTAL FRAUUUUDDDD! When you try to cancel only a third party machine will answer, just horrible. HATE IT.
Best of all to be able to renew your passport genuinely. Use this site for your renewal and any other thing
This is a scam, used to take your money. They charged me $38 just for the application then I received a notice that I need to pay $110 more to process the renewal. I would give them a 0 if I could
They took my money and did not provide any type of service. I contacted them and of course no one answered.
Do Not Pay $38 for this site. Total Scam. I needed to renew passports so I went to the site that looked official. SCAM! Not these clowns have my personal information and credit card info. SCAM
This site DOES NOTHING MORE than the government website that is FREE! They make you think you are on the STATE DEPARTMENT site when in fact you are not. Their $38 fee is RIDICULOUS! Go to the State Department site:
https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html You get the same document to fill out on the STATE DEPARTMENT site for FREE!
I called them and requested a refund. Told them if they didn't issue a refund, I would call my credit card company and get the charges reversed. 10 minutes later, I was given a refund.
Answer: Definitely a scam. Dispute the charge to your bank or credit card company.
Answer: File a Fraud Alert with any 1 of the 3 credit report bureaus as a precaution. US Gov has on-line guidance for this.
Passport-USA has a rating of 1.4 stars from 171 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Passport-USA most frequently mention post office, credit card and state gov. Passport-USA ranks 36th among Passports sites.
