I have ordered hundreds of dollars in parts from partzilla. Their prices are usually the best. There are only a few other sites that are comparable I think the shipping times need to be worked on though. People want their parts QUICK! They dont want to wait a week or two when their toys are down. My last order took 5 days with expedited shipping. $10 for a few ounce envelope. Thats Georgia ( I assume thats where it came from) to NY which is not far. I could get parts from my dealer in 3 days. Sometimes, depending on what and how much you order its better to just get it locally. I usually order online if im getting more than a couple items. The expedited shipping is a joke as mentioned here. I know its only a couple dollars but its the principle. You can get stuff on ebay faster with 2- 3 day shipping. The parts showing as "in stock" when they are not has happened to me before. Its either in stock or its not. When I go on the website I want to know if it is physically in stock THERE and will be shipped as soon as I order. No ifs ands or buts. I dont care how many parts the company deals with. Thats what computers are for. Excuses are not acceptable. Also, The images of the part that use to show next to the part was a great addition to the web site. You dont see that often (if at all). They got rid of that. Why? It was very beneficial to have sometimes so you know exactly what the part looks like. I asked on their youtube channel and got a (deceiving?) response saying its in the works. The link is below. Im Chrisc. I think if they fix the 3 things I mentioned they would be untouchable. It would make me a customer for life instead of comparison shopping.

After 2 weeks of waiting for my parts to be shipped, PartZilla sends the email that I have to pay another 261 $ for shipment. I cancel the order then they fine me with 15% stocking fee. $#*! zilla :)
Good customer relations, answers all questions and handles all problems quickly. Easy website for oem parts but they need a interchange for aftermarket parts this would be a great help for there customers who use aftermarket parts
Shipping is not the problem, things take a bit long to pull from the warehouse, especially for varied orders.

Also, they say when you add item to cart it will tell you availability of part. B. S. It says in stock, then 3 days later you find out it wasn't. So nothing has shipped. After 3 orders, and same crap each order, I am done with partzilla.

When a part says "Ships in 1-2 days", what that really means is that we will receive the part soon from the manufacturers and we will ship it as fast as we can. We have no way of knowing how fast a part we don't have in stock will arrive so that is only an estimate. We hope you give us another chance.

Long story short one little part got delayed so they delay the whole order there are hidden fees they dont tell you about to do partial shipping. Stay away from this place just canceled my order lets see how the return of my money goes.

Whether you pay for your shipping at checkout, or your order ships for free (Our shipping is free for orders $149-plus), it’s standard practice for OEM part dealers to ship your entire order in one shipment. This means, that if you order some parts that are in stock and some parts that are out of stock, the out of stock parts that need to be requested from the manufacturer can hold up your entire order. To get your in-stock parts right away, you can call customer service and request split shipping for your order. There is an additional fee for split shipping, but it’s cheaper than placing two separate orders and it will ensure you get your in-stock parts right away. We hope this helps and you give us another chance.
I ordered a replacement fender for my Goldwing. The part is already colormatched. Easy to find and order... and easy to pay with PayPal. Great price, free shipping and it came to me the next day. Also, very impressed with the packaging... double wrapped in bubble wrap and packaging Styrofoam, as well as being cushioned and protected in the box. I will head here first for my next order!

I get all the parts I need for my 2003 Vulcan at Partzilla. They are quality, OEM parts that arrive very quicky. I was even able to get the grommet that holds the gas tank to the frame. I could not find that anywhere. I am a very satisfied customer.

I chose Partzilla over a local dealer for motorcycle parts because it was cheaper and the parts should have arrived at a similar time. However, the order got delayed and then the "Expedited Shipping" doesn't exactly seem Expedited, taking 3-4 days to arrive after already waiting 3-4 days for the items to ship from them. Then when I called, the associate just told me there was nothing they could do to alleviate the issue of delays.
Your local dealer, if ordering from the manufacturer, would have had at least the same delay in receiving the parts. We ship your order immediately after receiving the item from the manufacturer and, with an East Coast and West Coast shipping facility, we are usually able to get parts to our customers faster than local dealers.

They beat everyone's prices but next time I'll pay an extra 10 bucks to get my parts delivered on time from their competitor. Bad experience talking with one of their customer service folks as well when I called in wondering where my parts were, then lied when they said parts were shipped and would arrive in two days. " They hadn't even shipped yet".

When a part is in stock, it says on the product page IN STOCK and will be shipped immediately. There are certain times when we don't have the part in stock and we have to wait for the manufacturer to deliver us the part. Whenever that happens, the part page says "Ships in 1-2 days" or "Ships in 2-3 days." Since we don't have a way to know how long the part will take to arrive from the manufacturer, we are unable to update the ETA for the part. I paid for an axle for a yfm90 and recieved a part that looked like it had been sitting forever, but in good faith i installed the part only to find out that the part was bent.
I bought this to the attention of partzilla in an email and all they can say is "yamaha wont take it back" "we need photos of the box it came in"
Which, mind you was in perfect condition when we recieved the part but to the naked eye could not notice the part was bent.
Very disappointed to have paid for a brand new part and receieve what looked like a 2nd hand part but 2 weeks shipping i couldnt wait.
Ive got a whole family into motorbikes all of which i pointed in partzillas direction but now ill be telling them to go elsewhere.

For situations like this, it is very hard for us to determine whether the part was somehow bent prior to shipment, during shipment or accidentally damaged somewhere else along the line. We can completely understand how frustrating it must be for you to receive a part and be unable to use it. However, in order for us to process a claim like this, we would need photos of the box the product was shipped in and the damage to the product.

My parts haven't even shipped yet and I got to thinking that I could have sworn that it was indicated that all my parts were in stock. I would have checked other suppliers if there was any indication of not in stock and I sure wouldn't have paid for expedited shipping. The time until shipping is approximately what was explained by Partzilla in reply to a previous review that complained of less than honest or upfront detailed explanations of the terms used and their definitions as defined by Partszilla so there wouldn't be all these poor reviews. The prices were noticeably lower than other popular parts suppliers. But I am feeling like somehow they are being intentionally deceptive because they haven't corrected the issue. The correction would be to have a disclosure type page that is a simple and complete break down and explanation of how the shipping times are calculated and what IN STOCK means or indicates and when expedited shipping takes place...

Most OEM parts dealers have the same issue as us, we have no way to store every single part that a customer might need. So when we receive an order for a part we don't currently have it may take a while for it to get to us, and then we ship it to you. We have sold over 3 million parts and we have one of the widest selections of OEM parts in the world, but of course, we do not have all 3 million parts in stock all the time. As a rule of thumb, for any OEM dealer, whenever a product says "IN STOCK" it means that we have the part ready to ship. When it says on a part "Ships in 1-2 Days" then that means that the part is on backorder and we are waiting for the manufacturer to deliver us the part.
