The part provided for my vehicle doesn't fit. It's clearly the wrong part. I entered my vehicle information correctly, and it seems to be a mismatch. Never received an order confirmation. No packing list in the box. No response to email sent to customer service. Just called and was told I'd have to pay for return shipping, saying they can't take responsibility for the part not fitting. Shipping was exorbitant -- nearly $30 for a $12 part. And now they want me to pay return shipping to get my $12 refund? I basically bought a large piece of plastic and a cardboard box for the landfill.

Beware, you will be responsible for a wrong part whether it was your fault or theirs. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping to return the item. Customer service is horrible. Can't speak with anyone you'll wait all day and never get a return call. The only way I made contact was to make like I was going to make a Phone order, then only to find out I would be responsible for the return shipping, even though it was a wrong part by their doing. Complete scam find another provider.don't waste your time and money.

They pulled money from my bank account for an order, and then sent me an email stating how i needed to send a copy of my drivers license if i wanted to get the products id ordered. That sounds like a scam to me. Dont trust this website for ordering your parts. I even called in to make the original order and was disappointed in how their representative knew less about what came in the kit than i did. Dont bother calling in expecting quality advise.

Tried calling about my order that took 2 weeks attempting to get to me before it returned to the seller. Called Parts Geek customer service and talked to David who was very rude, unhelpful, kept trying to speak over me and even hung up on me when i asked to speak to someone above him. When i mentioned it he got angry said they "lost connection" and would never lie. Ordering all my car parts elsewhere from now on.

They falsely label their parts. Do not visit this site. They have poor cancellation on incorrect orders. I was looking for instrument panel lights and ended up ordering something completely different. They miss labeled the parts as Instrument lights.
I called to cancel within minutes but call was unanswered and hung up upon. I filled out a ticket on their system but am not hopeful of getting my situation resolved. Stay away from this site. Google needs to lower their status.

Return suck
July 22, 2020

Never again. Truck is down. They advertise a good inexpensive alternator. Wrong one shows up. The don't pay for return shipping even if it's the wrong part, unless you want to wait til they investigate, could be two weeks. Meanwhile I'm down. What should have cost $174 now is costing me 400. Had to order a more expensive one locally, pay for the return of the wrong one, of course I have to wait for the refund so who the hell knows when that will happen. Buy local folks.

Please save yourself from extreme frustration and avoid Partsgeek.com. I ordered parts incorrectly and asked about exchanging them shortly after their 30 policy. They refused and then deleted my order history. There are way too many other places to order parts from that actually respect customers. I can guarantee that I will tell everyone I encounter at shows, auctions and other events about their poor service and shady business practices. It's a shame as my friends and I are totally redoing older cars and need many parts.

Garbage

This place sells the lowest quality $#*! available. Like I was expecting $#*!, but got explosive diarrhea. Straight piece of $#*! product. I'll take the $150 loss on it and be sure to keep my loved ones from buying pieces of $#*! from you.

They sent me the wrong part for my car, zero chance of returns. No negotiations, no asking for a supervisor. Dangerous company that does not want to stand behind their name. If you have to use them, buy with a credit card so you can file a credit claim later.

Misleading
April 28, 2015

Please be aware of Parts Geek return policy. They sold a part that was supposed to fit a 2013 Chevy Avalanche. When I received the item, the box clearly states it is not for that year model. Looked it over and sure enough it will not work on this vehicle. Tried to return the item and it would cost at least $55.00 for postage. I have emailed Parts Geek asking them to pay return shipping cost. This is the statement I received from them" We regret to inform you return shipment is prepaid by the customer regardless of the party at fault." So I have to pay $55 to return a $149 part that they misrepresented. Doesn't seem like a good way to do business. Please be very careful when purchasing from this company.

Bait and switch
May 5, 2023

The part their website said would fit my vehicle didn't. Ordered a $175 fuel pump and it was incorrect. Now after jumping through hoops to return said part they send the refund check to an address in a state I do not live, and not where the part was shipped or returned from. Now after two hours on line with customer support (in India) I have no further response other than they will get ahold of me in 24 to 48 hours with some sort of answer. I just want the money returned to the card it was charged, why is that so hard? I figure it is because they figure most people won't go through all this hassle to collect their money and now they have the part back, to sell to the next sucker, and my money which they can not tell me if I can get back yet. Complete joke of online ordering and returns and customer service with "Chad" from India and his supervisors Tim and Brad.

Received Incorrect Order
August 8, 2022

Ordered beginning of July 2022, it is now August 8th. Still waiting on my credit for parts shipped to me that were the cheaper version of which I paid for. Did they not think I would notice? And to top it off, not once did I get an apology. There are many different online parts stores to choose from, parts geek will not be an option going forward.

In the entire time I have been an active member of online shopping I have never encountered a worst company than this. Partsgeek.com has god awful customer service and a complete disregard for the customer.

My experience has been not being able to talk to anyone unless I email their returns department and create a ticket, which in turn I get an actual response every two days via email.

I've waited on hold for well over an hour to get hung up on after some pre-recorded voice tells me to "submit an online ticket".

I was sent a wrong part out of complete stupidity because the description of the part I wanted was placed, not even fully over, the sticker of the other parts name and model number. An imbecile of a mistake. It would seem as though someone was high and replacing stickers.

After waiting for 8 DAYS to get confirmation to return the product, they are making me pay for the shipping for their own mistake! Now I can't get a hold of anyone via telephone just to get it resolved.

Got screwed for $92.
November 14, 2023

Package never showed up. Both UPS and Partsgeek said it's not their problem. The one other time this happened the vendor replaced my order at their expense. I shrugged that one off, went to but some fenders from them, and they wanted $200 for shipping and handling with a two week delivery time. I found the same parts at lower cost elsewhere, for $72 S&H, with a two day delivery.

Completely thrilled with my purchase! I needed a third brake light assembly, and everyone from the dealership to the local mechanic was basically up-charging the part times three. My wife found the part (new) on Parts Geek's website for $127, and there was even an additional discount. So instead of paying the $300+ others were trying to charge me, I was able to purchase it for $108. I ordered the part on Friday morning, and it arrived on Monday. So not only did they save me over $200, but they got the part to me all the way from California in 2 days. Will absolutely purchase from them again!

Terrible.
April 19, 2022

*First of all the reviews on their own page are BS. They only publish perfect reviews*. Bought left and right side control arms to replace my entire suspension. They sent me one side and said they were out of stock of the other. Well i needed both and now i have to pay over $20 to ship out a $65 part. Because instead of contacting me and asking if i wanted an incomplete order they just sent the one side anyways. The worst part was after being "out of stock" the exact same part was still showing on their page as in stock.

With Parts Geek, Normally you print the return label and FedEx it. Wait 12 days for the warehouse to receive it the another 12 days before they credit you card. That simply is to long sense th we y put an expiration date on returns. I hot the run around they haven't received it from FedEx after 2 weeks. They refused me a waver for FedEx and want me to wait another 14 days or longer to refund my $274 dollars. Which far exceeds the expiration date and I forfeit the useless part and the money. Finally had to get my credit card company to resolve the matter.
Don't do business with these crooks.
