I sent two items and paid for insurance cover. This cost £221 as they were large@ 50kg + 40kg respectively.
They then took ANOTHER £247 FROM ACCOUNT WITHOUT PERMISSION because they "claim" they were slightly heavier than stated. I got the weights FROM THE SUPPLIER OF THE GOODS. The difference they "claim" is just 10% and within the tolerances of their pricing structure. So, IF these weights are true (I doubt), I would have been charged the SAME price if stated up front! How can you justify a 100% in charge on that basis? Even so - they still managed to FAIL their basic service expectation. It was clear from the pictures provided that these goods had NOT been handled with any level of care. Dropped on their corners and ends MULTIPLE times. What DO THEY DO WITH PARCELS? These were heavy and probably dropped from height - yet they assume ZERO responsibility what APPALING service. I am taking them to court I suggest every customer do the same. Their attitude to customer service is APPALING. They try and hide behind web site small print that you would never notice, and their policies are TOTALLY in their FAVOUR only. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. Look at their "exclusion list" of goods not covered by their damage protection service, basically its EVERYTHING other than cloths! This is supposed to be a professional courier/transportation company but apparently, they cannot even guarantee they could transport a tea set or a mirror - or virtually any hard item. REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I used this company's express delivery option to get a package from Dublin to Manchester for a conference. I paid for Express delivery which had my package estimated to arrive on the morning of 15th September. On the 17th, it still wasn't ready so I called and requested to change location to London for another conference a week later. They missed this deadline and another.
One month later on the 17th October, I get an email informing me that it has been delivered to Manchester where it has no use and I have no team members. They refuse to refund the express delivery and have requested more money to get it returned to Dublin.
Do not use this service - they have no customer support and will not treat the item with care.
The collection driver broken the item before he placed it in the van then refused to pay back to cost.

Parcel hero took an extra £72 off my credit card claiming I had exceeded the weight limit when I had done no such thing. They are absolute scammers!
Here is how (in my experience,) the 48 hour delivery service works from ParcelHero
Date of posting/collection - Not counted.
Day after posting/collection - 24 hours.
Day 3 & 4 - not counted as it's in transport.
Day 5 - Delivery day and counts as the remaining 24 hours.
So in theory, pay for 48 hour delivery, actually takes 5 days and response from support is:
"it is in Transit heading towards the destination and will be delivered by the scheduled date"
Go elsewhere where 48 hours means 48 hours.
Update, we are now into day 7 and the response from Parcel hero to an email I sent was to keep an eye on the tracking and if it still has not arrived within 2 days to contact them again!
Worst company I've dealt with in a long time.
Both parcels so badly damaged it looked like they had been dropped from a height or run over by something.
Tried to claim compensation and this was denied surprise surprise.
Total SCAM. They lost my parcel and gave no explanation. No compensation either! DONT use this company as your parcel will never arrive at its destination and will be stolen by the carrier as happened with mine. The WORSE delivery services I've ever experienced. DO NOT trust their reviews on their website, they are totally fake.

Please I warn you to not use this site. Terrible customer service (or lack of), no direct contact number and they do not guarantee collection as per there T&Cs. This meant that we ourselves had to drop it off to the warehouse (despite paying for collection) incurring an addition c£100 in costs (not including the stress!).
If you need your parcel in a hurry then stay away from this company, truly terrible service and next day delivery is not existent. Customer service not any better and not willing to try and help chase or speed up delayed deliveries. Very disappointed and will never use again, very unreliable, will send you emails to say it's delivered when it is not. My advise stay way from parcel hero

Shocking level of service Entrusted Parcel Hero to do a job only to have £1200 worth of property smashed beyond recognition... Every excuse in the book used to deny all responsibility. This company do not give a damn about their customers or the parcels they collect... UPS was the carrier they chose to use and are equally responsible... All my complaint emails answered automatically without any person to person contact... Terrible company, terrible service they dont care who they work with just take your money and run.
I should have listened to the very many that told me to avoid parcel hero like the plague.

DIDNT WANT JIVE 1 STAR, what a waste of time these cowboys are, book courier to collect parcel through parcelhero was to be collected on a friday be with me on the monday when it not come by wednesday i tracked parcel showed it wasnt collected messaged them no answer, gave option to cancel order which i got charged for, so these people wasted my time and charged me for it im out pocket and had go book other courier to collect parcel, dont know how they can get away with this AVOID AVOID AVOID
I sent a delivery on 12 April 2022 which was supposed to take 3 days, item never arrived at destination, no note was left at destination address. 19 May i emailed them and they said it has been returned to sender, no attempt at delivery was made and no notification of failed delivery was given i asked them to attempt again and was advised they cannot redirect, they advised they sent an email and text advising receiver to pick up but could not provide details of when messages were sent. 23 June i asked where it is and advised they have still not received it. 12 July i asked for address to serve legal claim and they would not provide address. 22 July i was asked to pay £55 so they can return my delivery i asked them to read our correspondence history as i felt they wouldn't dare ask me to pay after all this aggravation, i received a response which did not address my issue, 1 aug they asked me to pay the invoice, 9 august i was tired out they successfully exasperated me i asked for the invoice so i can pay, 10 aug i got an email saying i did not pay in time and my parcel was disposed of
The issue that I have experienced was regarding an unauthorised transaction by Parcel Hero (Courier company) who have charged my account by £49.12 on Thursday the 28th of July 2022.
On the 2nd of June I posted a wheel - I sell many wheels and thought I would go with ParcelHero as I had a £5 voucher to claim so thought it would be nice to use it before it run out - Being a regular seller on eBay since 2004 with 100% feedback and knowing very well how to package, measure and weigh every item as I know how strict delivery companies are. Photos are taken before posting of every item I post.
When I saw an email to say I have a overcharge on the 27th of July 2022 ( 2 days ago) I emailed ParcelHero straight away by email - got a reply yesterday to ask why and then sent them proof with all the images they are not interested in helping. I am 100% confident the parcel was measured correctly and within the criteria by the mm. I will attach photos (clear photos using the new iPhone) so they are highly detailed and clear. They are refusing to pay.
I paid £158 to ParcelHero for a booking with UPS to deliver 3 parcels, later that day ParcelHero came back to me and said UPS want £58.16 surcharge paying for 'weight difference' which I paid.
After a month of waiting for the delivery UPS asked me to pay £195.74 for the delivery + a £157.00 surcharge - on top of the £216 I had already paid to ParcelHero as it turns out they never actually passed my money over to the courier.
Not wanting to pay twice for the delivery my parcels are sat there still doing nothing and after all of this nonsense and no delivery ParcelHero email me asking me to pay another surcharge this time of £95.
Every time I have contacted ParcelHero over the last month they never actually acknowledge any issues and instead send out generic copy and paste replies meaning nothing is ever resolved. They don't even have a contact number as it goes through to a full mailbox.
This company is an absolute joke. You are completely ripping me off. This needs looking into and fixing. I am already £216 out of pocket and now you're asking for more money despite me never receiving my parcels through no fault of my own.
Update -
I have since requested the parcels be returned to sender, this way at least I can try and get the money back from the seller. But ParcelHero have told me that I would need to pay to have them sent back. And UPS are telling me I need to pay to have them delivered. Leaving me between a rock and a hard place. Unable and unwilling to pay more money for the delivery which I have already paid for.
The parcels are £600 worth of stock for my small business which means I am £911 out of pocket, with no stock for my business. UPS have also e-mailed to say they will charge me £13 a day for each box until they move.
So that's £911 + £39 a day for out of pocket for a delivery that never happened because of ParcelHero's mess.

Never experienced a worse delivery situation with no help or resolve whatsoever from ParcelHero who have been trying to charge me more money left right and centre for a failed delivery. They are nothing but a scam and a money grab.
Oh and did I mention they previously tried to get out of refunding me £285 by acting as though the refund wasn't due despite them sending me an invoice for the refund and a date of which it was due to be paid into my bank.
Shocking, avoid with a large radius, paid extra for the cover, bubble wrapped well and secure boxed well too and sent abroad. Outcome was parcel severely damaged and item no longer of use. Ebay refunded purchaser, parcel hero claim they are not at fault and wont look into my case, went to citizens advice sent the required letters recorded delivery and still no response i now have the stress of small claims against them. Shocking
Booked a parcel for collection the following day, it failed to generate labels for me to print but confirmed the order and took full payment. I emailed them early the following morning as no phone number is available to ring them and my order said collection could be from 8.00am - all communication has to be done via emails. Due to no response from the emails I had sent I had no alternative but to cancel the shipment as it was vital that it was collected that day. They charged me £6 for cancelling although it was their fault for failing to generate the labels and failure to contact me till lunch time. It's a dreadful company avoid like the plague. Go direct to the shipper eg UPS etc.
Ups dropped my item that's was securely packaged it had travelled from Turkey in the factory box I had it courier from the Midlands and no damage I reinforced the box all the way round and added additional cardboard tubes round the box marked on the outside 30kg caution warned unstable load put bubble wrap around item they took £20 insurance and the UPS pickup carried it away although HSE says 25kg max, must have dropped it and damaged item, off course they assessed the packaging themselves and didn't offer any compensation after taking £50 disgusting courier's get away with this type of behaviour constantly breaking or stealing property
Don't go nearly scammers having booked and paid for a parcel to be sent they can back to me looking for an additional £70 as it was heavier then I had claimed, I had actually added an extra 5-10 kg to avoid this situation. Very much looking forward to seeing them in court.

Rip off company just as Parcelmonkey. They messed up my booking, the courier "UPS" failed to collect a booked item after forgetting labels and refused to refund me trying to tell me it was my fault, they even blocked my account to avoid me logging in and chasing up the booking. Still unresolved. DO NOT USE..
