Horrendous experience, 3rd party company that has no interst in progressing a claim just creates dozens of hoops you need to jump through also the person getting the parcel is expected to hold onto packaging for 30 days, then all you get is a gesture of a refund credit to your account not even money you can use except with them. CRIMINAL - Dreadful Company
They illegally charged me 40 pounds for additional handling but there is no evidence and no proof. I packaged my box with huge amounts of tapes and I secured my boxes. But during the shipping, they destroyed my box due to improper moving. So it should be their responsibility to help me fix the boxes. However they just charge you even without you knowing. Your money just gone without any notice. That's unlawful! That's the worst company I have ever met! AVOID!
I went online to book and, without realsiing found I hadn't booked directly with Parcelforce, but through Parcel Hero. I paid the premiun of a 1 day delivery. Save an initial receipt, I received no further calls or communciation relating to the item that was on reception in a hotel. When I contacted them online, I was told they tried to collect yesterday afternoon? Not only does this appear completely untrue, but htey had all my contact details and never tried to get in touch. They told me i would have to re-book online, but I then found out it would cost me a further £9 for the re-booking fee that they had failed to collect! Dditionally, I would need to pay in full the new order and they would refund that element in 14 days!
There is no exagerration to the above, and I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I booked the courier through Parcelhero and paid the insurance just to be on the safe side.
They then smashed the product which was shipped from the supplier in its original packaging - a clock - all wrapped in its original polystyrene sleeves - bubble wrap - and box - totally unopened with toughened glass -
But alas that is no good in the eyes of their claims dept because when they ship products they get beaten - battered and bruised - and have to withstand MORE awful handling than the ocean it crossed in a container - appalling - AVOiD
I sent a package to china which was a strong box, had fragile written on all sides and had been heavily bubble wrapped.
It arrived with a massive dent and the item had been broken inside.
They did not offer compensation due them saying it wasn't properly packaged to their requirements when i physically couldn't have packaged it any better. I used the strong box, put fragile all round and wrap it multiple times in bubble wrap. It had been clearly stepped on or something.
They will allow you only to appeal with new evidence when I provided them with more than enough evidence - including video of packaged as arrived and opening it live. Also included pictures of how packaged before but want MORE EVIDENCE!
Please avoid as likely will not compensation for damages and will waste you time!
2 years back I sent a table to a customer for around £30. Firstly it got smashed. Secondly then came the good old "weight and size" issues. They wanted to charge me an extra £300+ saying I got the dimensions wrong etc. Luckily I payed through Paypal and cut them off from taking it. After lots of back and forth including them showing me a UPS invoice which was mostly blurred out, they disappeared. 2 YEARS LATER...they're BACK with emails demanding payment lol. No chance.
I couldn't believe it. Fined over £600 for being overweight on the 2 parcels I sent. No notice just took the money straight out of my account. Couldn't call them the phone number just said "mail box full". Finally got an answer to my email to be told. "That's the way it is" AVOID THESE CLOWNS!

Blame the customer for everything
I sent something to my sister in Ireland from the UK a month ago. I left phone numbers and email addresses (plural) it's arrived back at my house yesterday. Parcelhero are refusing to refund me and claim their courier sent a email for a customs payment request. We have no email from them nor do they have proof of sending one. They are point blank refusing to refund me just sending me patronising messages ending with "if there's anything else I can help you with…"
I just want my money back as the service I paid for was not what I received. I also still need to send the package off again. This is massively inconvenient and the customer service is awful.
ParcelZERO, AVOID! You have to pay them in advance and they are very efficient at taking your money. They do not tell you when the driver will collect from you, so you take a whole day off to wait for the driver at home. They have no practical means of communicating with them, they hide their contact information. You eventually find a "contact us" link but when you click on it, it takes you to a Q&A page, none of it relevant to your situation, its a joke! The courier driver then arrives BUT does not know how to read instructions so he/she leaves without collecting the parcel. I checked the tracking on their website every half hour but it says nothing about the driver EVER being there, I am not sure the tracking even works. There I am still waiting for the driver but apparently he/she had already come and gone. After searching the whole website, you eventually find the website's messaging system but you only get an answer the next day. "When is driver going to be here, its almost cut off time?". Answer, one day later, "we will have to look into that for you" then only to be told, "oh the driver did attempt delivery but no one was there." so you must pay a cancellation fee. They have GPS information they say proves the driver was there and yet there is no way to track the driver's progress on their website so you just have to guess, infuriating! AVOID this company, they will take your money without providing a service. They failed to deliver a service and yet now they are refusing a refund SO blatantly contravening The Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Complete scam - Booked UPS for same day collection, who never turned up at all. Contacted Parcelhero after waiting four days, who then suggested I rebook or cancel. However, cancellation means a scam £6 charge despite the fact they hadn't provided the service they claim to offer.
AVOID AS THIS IS A SCAN COMPANY.
Parcelhero are terrible, I wish I had checked the reviews first. Arranged a return item to a company in Germany. (Returns are custom charge free in Germany), but they didnt know this, claimed to have delivered the parcel, then it was stuck in customs (as we hadnt paid?), returned and charged me a further £30+. Overall paid over £70 (including insurance) and I took them 65 days to get my product back. Blame their supply chain for everything USLESS
Nothing just messed up company. Constantly failing to generate the labels even tho you paid extra money for "the next day delivery". They not only failed to generate the label on time, they also haven't posted my parcel at all due to their incompetent staff not knowing how to collect the parcel. They ruined my wedding and refused to provide the refund as the blame was on me that I should wait for the labels.

Absolutely shocked at the level of negligence and accountability of this organisation. Paid for No printer service, website automatically changes to printer service without notifying customer. Try to cancel and rebook and multiple error messages. Meanwhile the driver comes and takes the parcel without any labels and now lost. Disgrace. Avoid at all costs as they will not own up to problems regardless of whether you have paid for insurance. Court case pending.

Paid an extra £12 for parcel protection they broke my package and refused to pay out. Parcel had 2 layers of bubble wrap cardboard and plastic wrap. Said it was insufficient.
My order was placed to send documents in a brown A4 envelope to Poland.
It was supposed to arrive by 02/12/2022. They did not even bother to do the tracking. I paid almost £40.00 for NOTHING. The envelope disappeared off the face of the earth and I had to pay parcelhero for the privilege…. Totally totally scandalous! They should be banned completely. They are thieves.
For going on two months now, this company has failed to arrange a pickup and delivery for us. In spite of multiple contacts with the "customer service", and multiple promises to mitigate the situation, the shipment is still sitting at departure point. This is clearly a scam. Don't ever use them!
Finally managed to collect and deliver parcel after 7 failed attempts, then had the audacity to place a sur charge, 4 x cost of original postage, claiming overweight. I proved claim false with pictures and documented evidence from manufacturer of product, Parcel Hero then proceed to take charge from my card against my written will, then lied to credit card company claiming was part of original transaction.
In short avoid at all costs unless you enjoy dealing with incompetent, lying sociopaths

Customer services (Peter Edwards) is an absolute joke. Not professional at all. Avoid these guys at any cost.
