My overnight parcel delivery still hasnt been delivered 12 days later.
They make it very obvious they dont give a toss about it, wont return phone calls, and when i do get through they are now hanging up on me after saying "itll get there when it gets there- its not our responsibility".
Disfunctional company, awful customer service.
The lack of concern about professionalism or even the law is staggering
If the service works fine it's just because the couriers are doing their jobs, but if there's an issue with a delivery where Parceldirect support should help, they vanish.
Absolutely no support at all, awful experience. Never again.
Lost bronze statue going to USA (it happens!) and admitted it was due to their driver not scanning the parcel at pickup. Have had to engage a solicitor to try recover my 51 plus 20 insurance. Told my money was being returned to my card before Christmas and this after constantly been totally ignored with no engagement. Make up your own mind!
I have paid for a parcel to be collected last friday (to go to Italy on time for Christmas), today is thursday and still no collection made after my 4th call. They say: I can't guarantee 100% that it will be collected today but the driver has your docket and I will put another request to the depot. 4 times after still nothing. Post office and refund it is.
My parcel was delayed in pick up, but after a quick call to Michael in customer service, he got the courier back to collect the parcel quick as possible. They prioritised the parcel and made sure it arrived on time. Thanks, great job

Is my experience the norm? Booked a 1-2 day, very expensive, Irl to Uk service with UPS. Package lost immediately after pickup & PD say they have to wait at least 24 hours before UPS will revert with an update. PD couldnt care less.take no ethical responsibility for your items & will not find out where they are. Legal Docs, Totle Deeds for a property.missing.irreplaceable. Is it a 1 man operation from a shed?
Booked my parcel in early for next day pick up as it was time sensitive but the next day there was no pick up. After I called I was told it would be picked up the next day. Finally after this again and again it was picked up 3 days later on a Friday. Told it would definitely be delivered Monday but I'm sure you guessed it, it was finally delivered on the Tuesday. Customer service was terrible along with the service. Just go somewhere else.
Absolute disaster. I was charged extra 106 euro weeks post delivery, stating my parcel was 10 times bigger when I payed for. Parcel direct using FedEx next day collection and instead of item being about an envelope size that weigh no more 1kg I was additionally charged for 74cm length item just under 17kg. What an idiot FedEx worker who can't measure basic item. Scammers that's the only thing I can say. If you try to resolve this issue parcel direct account team says we only dealing through emails, please send an email. They asked me for the picture of the item that was posted abroad. Are you crazy. Next time I make sure to take a selfie with it too.
I have one hope. Item was delivered to the hotel in Italy and signed by one of the staff members. Staff member would be able to confirm the size of the item.

Aviod this company at any cost! My goods got damaged on the way by courier. They confirmed I'm eligible for a compensation but then stopped replying to my emails after I provided my bank details to get the payment. I paid for the enhanced insurance to cover my goods but they did not report the value to UPS (this is confirmed by UPS) so my parcel was not conevered for full value. THEY ARE A SCAM. I'm going legal.

Appalling service. They lost a box of mine with 1000 worth of contents (for which I paid extra to insure). They only subcontract from other companies, so you lose all protections these other companies (like FedEx etc) would normally give.
They lost the box December 2016, and here I am in May 2017 and this is still not resolved.
They made me fill in hours worth of paperwork, before eventually making an insulting offer of compensation that barely covered the fee they charged! The cheek they had to think I still ought to pay for a service I didn't receive!
I am only left with the option of taking them to small claims court so this is ongoing.

Have used Parcel Direct 3 times now and they are unbeatable for everything from price to service. I have no hesitation in recommending them to ll my friends and colleagues
Very poor customer service - doesn't reply to customers emails. NO refund of cancelled order as promised - they took 355 Eur for nothing! Waiting for my money for over 3 months and they don't even have the dignity to answer my emails. NO cancellation policy on their website. This company is a joke!
Great Company, Brilliant Service. So easy to use, just book online, sit back and wait for the courier to call and pick up your parcel and deliver it for you. Great stuff and very cheap www.parceldirect.ie, can't recommend them enough
Because of their website that shows a city for another i am having troubles in getting my parcel. I do not understand why they do not fix the problem, the postcode doesn't match the city.

Beware of this company as they are a scam, was suppose to broker a transaction as a third party for SB tickets. Took over $1600 of my money and nowhere to be found or responding to emails. This company is a scam!

Absolutely appalling!
Placed and paid for order on Sunday afternoon, received email confirmation and invoice with collection of parcel for 9am-5pm next day.
Next day came and went, I chased them.
Next day came and went, I chased them.
Next day came and went, I chased them... and on and on and on until finally 6 DAYS later on Saturday afternoon it was collected.
So much time time wasted chasing up what should have been a simple and transparent transaction. My mother spent days waiting for a courier to come and each day if she had to leave the house left these gifts sitting in the doorway 'in case' a driver might show up. A birthday gift arriving almost a week late instead of a nice surprise on time,
Excuse? Oh we are really busy, oh there are unprecedented times... guys we are 11 full months into this crap, if you don't have your $#*! together you will keep loosing business to those who do!
At no point did the driver or parcel direct contact myself or my mother who's number was given, yes I did receive prompt and polite replies from the customer service (which I am grateful for) but all in all I would NEVER recommend this company and will bring business elsewhere.

Hi Colm, Thank you for taking the time to write your review and I am so sorry you were not happy with your experience with us. We are sorry your parcel was misplaced with your belongings and we did a long search with the carrier to try and find it. We had to have the paperwork filled out so we could provide it to the carrier to complete a search. When the carrier could not find the parcel they offered compensation in line with the Warsaw Convention, although we did try to get this increased, we were unable. You did take out extra cover for €125 per parcel and we did offer to refund this in full to you. Again I can only say sorry for the loss of your parcel and we did everything in our power to try and have it retrieved, but on very rare occasions parcels do go missing and cannot be found, I am so sorry about that.
