I believe companies such as this that make money off of handing out (public records or not) MY hard earned
Proprietary information are unfortunate leeches. Blood, sweat, tears and a lot of money was put into finding my own quality manufacturer... and I find it on your site for sale. Shame on you all. The low ball people who are looking to rip this information off should also have had to find it them selves the hard way. You're all a bunch of scum bags. Where's MY CUT of the subscription money you get paid to share my information? Why was my permission not asked? While 'technically legal' this is totally unethical and I could NOT have a lower opinion of your company.
My company subscribes to Panjiva's US import data to help understand what our particular market looks like. Their database is intuitive and easy to use. Furthermore, if we ever have questions, our dedicated customer service person at Panjiva is easily available to answer any questions and give our team pointers on how to use the database more efficiently. It's an expensive subscription, but if you use it right it's very powerful.
Panjiva is publishing my company's import/export data without my permission. They are using my company's name to enrich themselves. Additionally, they do a great job at manipulating their online ratings. Read reviews with caution. Take the good reviews with a grain of salt.
When we first contacted Panjiva, our company was worried because the information they were presenting about us was quite delicate. Then we realized that it is a two-way street, and started using the platform to track down our competitors. It's a powerful and useful tool to find new suppliers and new potential buyers.
A great plus is their costumer service. They could improve their filter tools.
I did not know what to expect from the service when I first signed up however they quickly scheduled a training session and made the service completely clear in terms of its capabilities. I was impressed by the expediency of the follow up. Great overall service!
This looks like an empty package scalping scheme. I have never heard of this company before and received an empty package from them. Seems they are trying to boost their numbers by buying stolen personal information and unsolicited shipping of empty boxes. I would´t trust them if I were even looking for such a company, which I am not.
I've contacted your team via *******@spglobal.com and *******@panjiva.com now at least 5 times to take down my personal information form your website and it's still live. Please remove my information as a matter of urgency. This is not any business information, this is personal information including my phone number, full name, and home address you publicly display. I have never given you permission to display this information and I don't even know who you are.
Please take this information down now.
Panjiva is a great tool supporting both our Product and Sales Teams.
Product is enjoying full visibility on volume data per various trades enabling new strategies and supplier negotiations; Sales is enjoying full data acess to prospect companies and related decision makers helping them be active on the field whilst maitaing a clear focus on the given mandate as to prospect classification and geographical impact.
This is to inform you all that please be aware and stay away from this Panjiva, I subscribed monthly plan and I asked for them to give me South America data, after my subscription they told you would have to subscribe annually I told them I can't afford so they told me to cancel the subscription and a lady on a call told me you would get the refund, now I am asking for refund and they are saying they don't have any refund policy even I didn't use their services for more than 10 minutes...
My email is *******@gmail.com
If any Panjiva personnel is reading this please respond or I will try my best to spread this message about your company doing fraudelent activity.
Thank you
Unfortunately I asked for 1 month of a professional plan and they automatically suscribed me to the next month. This feature should be fixed, as a customer I should be able to decide if I want to continue using the service.
Edit: after writing this review they reimbursed the aditional month. This is the reason why I changed the overall rating.
I started with Panjiva's $99 membership and I'm very impressed with their platform. It is an incredibly robust system for analyzing huge amounts of import/export data in a easy to use inter-phase.
Highly recommended!
Panjiva I am angry with your company. Do you know you violate people's privacy by exposing people? If someone is being protected from a murderer do you know you would play a role in someone's death? Stop posting people information on the Internet. Guys I emailed the company asking for my information be removed they played me no mind. Only after my lawyer got involved it was taken down in less than 13 hours. Shame on you Panjiva not professional. BAD BUSINESS.
Moses, I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. Though the information we receive is a matter of public record in the United States, we have no interest in publishing personal information. Can you contact me personally (josh@panjiva.com) to tell me exactly what happened when you contacted our team? I want to ensure that privacy requests are handled right away.

I have had to reach out to Michael on a number of occasions and he has yet to disappoint me. He does his research and always comes back with an answer or a solution within the same day. We are very fortunate to have someone of his caliber as our account manager. Keep up the great job!

This company publishes personal import/export data without the person's permission. Your personal data will be published by them even if you only shipped some personal belongings from abroad. Those founders are terrible money-oriented people.
LadyHawke, to have your personal information removed from Panjiva, simply email josh(at)panjiva(dot)com. One of Panjiva's key data sources is U.S. customs data -- which makes records of all waterborne shipments into the United States available to the public. Panjiva uses this data to compile profiles of companies -- but we have no interest in personal information. As soon as we are notified that personal information is on our site, we take it down. So, if you've found your personal information on Panjiva, please email me!

This company are a bunch of scammers and law breachers. They suposely sell you access of private bussines data of companies and individuals, that they get for free from US goverment agencies, and that anyone can get from. If you suscribe you will find pretty basic information of names imports and value of imports with no datails at all. If you request a refund of your money you will never get it. Stay away from this company. In many countries (like in Europe) this company could be sued and pay millions for exposing and posting online private and personal data of companies without their knowledge.
My company was evaluating several import stats providers before we chose to go with Panjiva. I made this decision based on the exceptional level of service that was provided when we were evaluating the company and it has only kept up since then. Their online portal is user friendly and logical and their customer service is top notch!
I work at a law firm and stumbled upon Panjiva a few days ago. Panjiva had a lot of useful data that was essential to our case development. Mike, the Customer Success Associate, was able to help me navigate the website in a quick and efficient manner obtaining the data I need. Mike was also very patient explaining how different functions work and what each term of art meant. The folks at Panjiva are super quick in their response time and helpfulness!
Came across this tool via a Google Search. Had been on a few similar sites. The customer service team was nothing but helpful and very engaged in helping me get data I wasn't even sure existed. I do business now with factories in Taiwan, India and Vietnam. Panjiva actually has a mechanism to contact these companies directly-- something other sites don't have. Highly recommend.
Panjiva has opened new doors for our supply chain research work. The database is incredibly fast and agile and enables unparalleled insights into industry transactions. We have found that the database allows us to dive deep into specific areas or suppliers of interest by applying filters and search terms in a very intuitive way and allows for custom summaries to be generated with ease. Weve been using the database intensively for well over a year and have had a great experience all around. The breadth and depth of knowledge of the Panjiva team has consistently impressed us whenever weve reached out with any questions. Were very excited to continue to leverage this fantastic tool as new features and country datasets are continuously added on.
I have never used import/export data before panjiva. The spreadsheets and data are easy to follow and understand. Kristin was a delight and willing to answer any questions or confusions with a positive attitude! Their pricing is competitive for the information that you get access to. The company is willing to train you on how to use the data to fit your companies needs. It's an awesome tool to help develop the company further and give them a competitive advantage with data thats up to date.
Thanks!

Panjiva's reputation is marked by a duality of strong customer service and significant privacy concerns. Many users appreciate the intuitive database and the helpfulness of customer support, praising the platform's utility for market analysis and supplier sourcing. However, a recurring theme is the dissatisfaction regarding the unauthorized publication of personal and proprietary information, leading to accusations of unethical practices. Additionally, some customers express frustration over refund policies and perceived lack of transparency. Overall, while Panjiva offers valuable tools and responsive service, its approach to data privacy remains a critical area for improvement.
