Pandora's reputation is mixed, with customers appreciating its diverse music selection and personalized stations, often noting the app's ease of use. However, significant complaints revolve around reliability issues, such as frequent interruptions and repetitive song choices, which detract from the listening experience. Customer service also faces criticism, particularly regarding difficulties in account management and unresponsive support channels. While some customers express satisfaction with the jewelry products and in-store experiences, concerns about product quality and return policies indicate a need for improvement. Overall, Pandora must address these service and reliability issues to enhance customer satisfaction.

Pandora is incredibly easy to use. It's nice that it can be used on my phone or computer. Buying Pandora is great too, since there are no commercials!
I think the idea of Pandora.com is wonderful. They allow you to easily search for different artists and also discover artists similar to the ones you select. I have spent countless hours on this site while working on the computer or just hanging out. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5: lately, I have felt the artists they have brought me have not had much relevance to the original artist I searched for. Overall, I do enjoy this site and will continue to use it occasionally.
I use Pandora everyday, all day. The stations have improved over the past couple months as far as mixing up what they play, but overall I am a satisfied customer (free version). I haven't felt the need to upgrade to the paid version. I get everything I need with the free Pandora. My music, my way ;)
Overall it's a great idea and I can always count on it to discover new songs but it has obvious shortcomings. Like replaying songs, skip limits, ads... Spotify is better for listening to music you want to listen to. Pandora is good for discovering new things.
Pandora's nice because it let's you "create" your own genre stations and saves them so you can play them at any time. Only downside is you can't skip more than a few songs at a time. Also, it's free!
In trying to work on and change shuffle programs, it is impossible to work on list as it is covered by an advertisement and I can not alter or arrange my shuffle programs or delete them.
You have an A-Z icon but clicking on it does nothing, You should be more concerned with treating your customers in a more friendly user way and supply a manual, that is readable and workable.
I am considering cancelling. Joseph H Popolow
I can't live without this website! I love the music selections they mix in, and since I'm a music freak I love discovering new music everytime I turn on Pandora.
The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because recently something very odd has been happening. I'll have a rock station on (forgot which one), and all of a sudden WHAM! I get attacked by "Epic Rap Battles of History" and then I have to sit there and listen to Billy Mays and Chuck Norris battle it out rap style... or Justin Beiber and Beethoven bash out each other's music. This usually leaves me trying to catch my breath because I'm laughing so hard, and gets the stupid raps stuck in my head for two weeks after hearing them. And then everytime I listen to Beethoven I'll remember him telling Justin Beiber, "I'd slap you, but in Germany we don't hit little girls!"
Soooo yeah. Great! Now I have Darth Vader vs. Hitler stuck in my head. Damn you Pandora!
Same crappy songs over and over again. Someone please either (a) tell me why, or (b) suggest a better alternative. Don't want spotify because I don't want to download apps. It should all be in the cloud.
Listen to your music when you want... your choice...
Pandora is great. But lately i started listening to iheartradio and they are just as good
Pandora, oh how I used to love you so. This was the first internet radio that I had used that would tailor itself to ME. Loved it.
However, now I find that I am draw to simliar websites that are better at predicting what I want (Grooveshark), or are better at letting other people expose me to new music (8tracks.com).
Also, pandora does not work abroad, and I am a frequent traveler (are we now also exluding the amazing music that comes from countries that pandora blocks?)
Looking for a bit more, some evolution please! Also, why not a desktop based service, so if my browser crashes, I don't need to restart the service?
This site could be better, the comercials suck you can only skip so many songs that you don't want to hear and if you don't want the comercials you have to pay for it. Not my cup of tea.
I love Pandora. It's a great concept. Being able to put in an artist and getting artists similar to that. It's just great. I've learned so many new songs and artists. Unlike Grooveshark, you don't have to put in song titles. You don't get the same music over and over. Pandora chooses it, and you choose whether or not you like that song or not.
There are some things I dislike about Pandora though.
*You only get 40 hours of listening time per month. - I listen to about 3+ hours a day, and that just doesn't work out. I end up not using it at the end of the month.
*There are too many ads. - It wouldn't exactly bother me if it wasn't the SAME ad everytime. I get sick of hearing "Target, TARGET! Fresher, FRESHER! Beauty, BEAUTIFUL." every 3 songs.
*You can only skip 6 songs - Maybe you don't feel like a song, so you skip. You put a song on the shelf, and it takes away from your skips. You thumbs down, and it uses a skip. You do each of those just once, and you've already used half of your skips.
One other thing I dislike, when I dislike (thumbs-down) multiple songs from an artist, I obviously don't want to hear much more of that artist. A lot of artists music is the same type, so if I thumbs down that artist I don't want anymore of his music.
For example, I have a radio dedicated to LMFAO. I've been getting Lupe Fiasco on there. So I thumbs down MULTIPLE songs from him, and now I get more from him than I do LMFAO. I've been getting genres from my other station, which I am not enjoying one bit. When I choose a station, I want THAT type of music at the moment, not my other station.
It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't follow a lot of other sites paths. It's all about money now. More ads. Pandora One. Limited Listening unless you pay. That's a huge con.
I would recommend this website, and I love it. Those are just the bad parts I see in it.
This site is good if you want to hear free music however, the comercials suck and i don't like how you could set a station to listen to a certain band or group and they only play one or two songs from them then they play everything but them.
I love how much music I have discovered because of Pandora. I have probablly bought around 30 albums because I heard them on it. It's a great website, however it seems like the advertisements have been coming in more frequently. It is free, though their is an option to get rid of the advertisements by upgrading your account. I recommend it to anyone looking to try to find new music they might like.
The site can take a little too long to load despite high-speed internet (for me, at least) but otherwise the only complaints I have about it are with the service itself and not the site. It's pretty well set-up.
I love finding new music using Pandora. I highly recommend paying the $30 upgrade to get higher quality music and NO ads.
I agree, Pandora is an awesome website for introducing you to new music. Even when I get tired of a station because it keeps playing the same songs over and over, I love that you can add variety by adding another artist and it completely mixes up the selection.
I read about this fun little challenge to try with a friend or that special someone where you create a station that is comprised of your favorite band with their favorite band thrown in the mix. So when you are chilling in on a Saturday night, you can jam to the perfect blend of Frank Sinatra and Snoop Dogg. =)
One of the best sites on the internet. Pandora has introduced me to so much new music that I love, I can't even counbt anymore. It is on constanly in my house and in my car via their great iphone app. I love it, and can't say enough about it. It has changed my interaction with music, and has an incredible engine to find music that is similar to my taste.
I absolutely LOVE Pandora! It's super simple, and it does an absolutely GREAT job of picking songs based on your interests/genres, and it can find some pretty obscure music (e.g., Drums & Tuba; Intronaut) as well as the obviously obvious (e.g., Ozzy, Helmet). The Music Genome Project is a stroke of genius! But, speaking as a biologist, it's not so much a "genome" project as it is a "proteomics" project. Anyway, another super cool thing about Pandora is that it's not gonna play all the same, moldy classics you are used to over free radio; case in point, currently it is playing "Bloodstone" a freakin' awesome song by Judas Priest off the Screaming for Vengeance album, which likely never got any airplay, or maybe like a month after the album came out. Long story short, Pandora ROCKS!
Answer: Good luck reaching a person. No success for me. Cancelled my subscription after 10 previous years of great service. Too bad Sirius bought pandora out. Ruined the service and format
Answer: I don't know how or who determines what is on Pink Floyd radio. Not the same genre at all. Same for other artists.
