I love Pandora. It's a great concept. Being able to put in an artist and getting artists similar to that. It's just great. I've learned so many new songs and artists. Unlike Grooveshark, you don't have to put in song titles. You don't get the same music over and over. Pandora chooses it, and you choose whether or not you like that song or not.
There are some things I dislike about Pandora though.
*You only get 40 hours of listening time per month. - I listen to about 3+ hours a day, and that just doesn't work out. I end up not using it at the end of the month.
*There are too many ads. - It wouldn't exactly bother me if it wasn't the SAME ad everytime. I get sick of hearing "Target, TARGET! Fresher, FRESHER! Beauty, BEAUTIFUL." every 3 songs.
*You can only skip 6 songs - Maybe you don't feel like a song, so you skip. You put a song on the shelf, and it takes away from your skips. You thumbs down, and it uses a skip. You do each of those just once, and you've already used half of your skips.
One other thing I dislike, when I dislike (thumbs-down) multiple songs from an artist, I obviously don't want to hear much more of that artist. A lot of artists music is the same type, so if I thumbs down that artist I don't want anymore of his music.
For example, I have a radio dedicated to LMFAO. I've been getting Lupe Fiasco on there. So I thumbs down MULTIPLE songs from him, and now I get more from him than I do LMFAO. I've been getting genres from my other station, which I am not enjoying one bit. When I choose a station, I want THAT type of music at the moment, not my other station.
It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't follow a lot of other sites paths. It's all about money now. More ads. Pandora One. Limited Listening unless you pay. That's a huge con.
I would recommend this website, and I love it. Those are just the bad parts I see in it.
My partner chose her Christmas gift via Pandora and even informed me that if I make a purchase of £99 or more between the 23rd of November and the 3rd of December she would also receive a free stunning complimentary gift (the limited silver bangle is hand-crafted in sterling silver and finished with a sentimental inscription, you melt my heart.
I logged onto the Pandora web site on the 03/12/17, clicked on their promotional banner stating if I spend more than £99 I will receive this free gift. I then proceeded to spend considerably more than the £99.
I have now waited 10 days and nothing had arrived. I tracked the parcel only to discover it had not moved since the 07/12/17 i. E 6 days ago.
I contacted customer services who informed me that if a parcel has not been scanned within 3 days they class it as lost. I asked why no one has contacted me then, as the parcel has not been scanned for 6 days, to which I got no reply. I was informed I could either have a refund or they could send the same items out again, if they have them in stock that is. I asked for the same items to be sent out again but could they confirm that the free gift will also be included, as this offer has no expired. I was informed that the free gift had not been sent with my last order as they were out of stock prior to my purchase? I asked how can this be as they were advertising it on their own web site. I advised that I too am a business owner and if I made false advertising campaigns in order to get foot fall through the door and then didnt met my obligations I would be sued. All I got was an apology and again asked if I wanted to cancel the order or re order.
I have asked to speak with the complaints department as simply offering to resend the goods without the promised free gift is unacceptable.
I will not be draw in by companys offering free gifts with large purchases to then be told that I wont be receiving the free gift, I have clearly been conned.
I am currently awaiting a manager to call me back to discuss yet I dont see what there is to discuss?
They honored my original rate, after my credit card expired - they didnt have to, theyre great! Very customer focused
Use Pandora to get MP3s for FREE - I feel bad doing this but there is a simple way to hack Pandora and get all the MP3s as you listen to them on the internet radio. Don't bother actually buying it from iTunes, just download everything you listen to. Here is the way to do it1. Go to Pandora.com and download the file and install it. 2. Extract all files to something like c:\pandora3. Use pandora for a little bit and listen to some music4. Now go to the directory that contains the downloaded files (c:\pandora) and click on pandora.jar5. Now make sure you are using firefox and win XP6. Go to START then RUN and type cmd then in the window type cd: cpandora7. Now type java -jar pandora.jar *******. A blue screen should show up that says "now we are ready to rip MP3s"9. Now open firefox and type: http :// localhost: *******. Now do your normal pandora listening and the MP3s should be saved in the folder you created. Tada! Lets keep this thread updated as they make changes in pandora that alter this hack
I love pandora and it is amazing. They music is still free of cost. Thanks for this.

I use Pandora's free service. I like how you can create stations based on your favorite artists.
Used this site for years, can find music you love and discover new music every day.
I like how they customize the jewelry for each person and it is definitely worth it.
I love everything about Pandora! They keep me entertained all day while I am at work!
Wow, I found a lot of great( New and Old) music on this site, it is playing non-stop on my phone :)
Whenever I tune to Pandora radio, I am overwhelmed by Goosebumps because of the kind of classical they play.
Plays all music I have always loved while introducing me to new music based on my favorits
Found this one a few hours ago. A rather convenient thing to me at a first site. Will use it along.
I have only ever used the free part, but i mean its free and that in itself is a super value
I believe it is one of the best sites for shopping. I love Pandora.
It is okay according to my opinion but there is room of improvement needed.
Answer: Good luck reaching a person. No success for me. Cancelled my subscription after 10 previous years of great service. Too bad Sirius bought pandora out. Ruined the service and format
Answer: I don't know how or who determines what is on Pink Floyd radio. Not the same genre at all. Same for other artists.
