I recently stayed at an OYO hotel and was extremely disappointed to find that the room I received was vastly different from what was advertised on the website. The room was dirty, lacked basic amenities, and was in poor condition. I feel misled by OYO and would not recommend them to anyone.
OYO is horrid. I booked a room with their online system, then cancelled it with the front desk of the hotel I booked with. OYO charged me for a no-show even though I cancelled and the actual hotel staff tried to reach OYO too on my behalf, they had a record of the cancellation and still OYO did not do anything and refused my refund, even after multiple calls with them. I registered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau where they have an F rating. Their practices are illegal and they should not be allowed to do business anywhere.
Please Do not trust OYO, They never fefund amount what ever it may be. They will never say about policy while booking because you i'll get aware of that. Best Example, I booked the room via booking Call at 8.57Am(26.08.2021), I have cancelled it Arround 9.19am(26.08.2021). I asked them about refund percentage they have said there is no refund it is fully chargeable like what they have said. I have spent only 20 minutes between Booking and Cancellation. I have lost 799 rupees. They don't want customer satisfy they want only money. Please Be aware of OYO,.

Do you literally have any customer support? If you do why dont they do their job? You are just paying them to sit and say "please wait I'm transferring your call to relevant department'This OYO sucks and they are just looting peoples money.
Just want to warn everyone never use Oyo Rooms on weekends if you are checking in after 7 pm.
Oyo rooms cheated me last Saturday I booked hotel room ( paid full amount) for me and my family in Coimbatore.
I reached 7.30pm at Coimbatore I got message saying the hotel is having difficulty so I have to go to another hotel and they send me link to choose another.
I choose another with no extra cost near railway station. I reached hotel night 9pm and hotel refused to check in since oyo has not confirmed with Hotel. I tried to call Oyo but always call was busy.
Finally they call me back and saying I have to go to another hotel.
After paying full after reaching the hotel at night. Just imagine do you want get in to this fraud never use oyo rooms. I do not want to give my name but surly want give booking I'd BPKR3152.

I was booked the hotel in near New Delhi station, after confirmation when i was reached the hotel as per my schedule, hotel receptionist informed to my parent (who's senior citizen)he will not able to provide room due to which amount we booked hotel that cost rooms are not available in his hotel. And same time informed to customer care, as per customer care excusive informed call me after 24 hrs. He will not provide support due to technical issues. Really this type of ridicules service i am never accepted with brand. And my past cancelation charges amount transfer in my oyo wallet. Very horrible service and company policy. Company need to change his policy.
I did many booking through OYO. Hotel has not allowed to check-in all the time due to low tarrif and no availability of room. It has waisted my time and money too.
I will never use OYO in my whole life and will not recommend any-one too. Even OYO don't check the hotel too.

I had a truly disappointing experience with OYO Rooms recently. I booked a room online and made a full payment in advance, only to arrive at the hotel and be told that they had no collaboration with OYO. This situation left my family and me stranded with no place to stay.
What added to my frustration was the lack of support from OYO's customer care. Despite having a confirmed booking on my mobile app, they were unable to resolve the issue or find an alternative accommodation for us. The unresponsiveness of their customer service made the situation even more frustrating.
To make matters worse, I still haven't received a refund for the payment I made for the non-existent room. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would caution anyone considering using OYO Rooms for their travel accommodations to be extremely cautious and have a backup plan in case something goes wrong, as their customer support and reliability have been far from satisfactory in my experience.

I am deepu Joseph book my room on 6 th of August through OYO rooms, my booking No MAXS119 Already i paid 1450 then my family going checking time hotel is asking more money 2500! I don't know what kind of service OYO doing. My wife waiting 2 hours in hotel reception without any clarification. Hotel staff all are unprofessional and they speaking very rudely. So I asked if I can get a room after 7 pm and I let the OYo consultant know I was going to be there after 3 pm obviously, I asked if my room will be available if I will arrive after 3 pm, the OYo consultant confirmed it will be available. Well this unprofessional consultants lie so they can keep your money. So I arrive and the woman working for the oyo at the San Antonio TX, says that my room is not available because I came in late. Becareful don't purchase from this people, they are only good to steal specially from tourist who can't come in at exactly 3 pm. Becareful don't do the mistake I did, don't throw your money like that. This OYO consultants are liars and the staff at the OYO Hotel.

I was truly cheated with the services given by Oyo rooms for a booking made on 24th July at Mysore India at a Hotel Royal Sand.
They have tie up with Lousy Partners who has very very poor hygiene factors that any descent family will refuse to stay.
We made the booking and payment before check in trusting the rating and photographs put in their Mobile App. But when visited the spot and found exactly opposite to what was told and shown in the App, we initiated for alternative hotel. But the customer service team was very poor in response against which we had to decide cancellation of our booking. We are also cheated without refund of payment without staying in any accomodation from Oyo rooms. Dear Public, who ever see this review, please take this seriously and not get cheated like us. We hold all evidences about our above experience which in our life will not forget.
We believe in God, and those who ever is the cause for the above every single person will be paying a punishment for the above cheating. Our above Grief of us will not be even taken for consideration by Oyo rooms seriously. I find they least care about customers and are only about earning money cheating public
On September 26th I made a reservation and then realize that it was not going to work because of a storm that was being predicted on Friday I called back within the time frame to cancel my reservation I tried to cancel online tried to call office and location to no avail Oyo customer customer service very difficult when you have issue but they're quick to go ahead and make reservations but if you have any issues it's almost impossible to talk to anyone when I did reach someone they told me they was going to transfer me and then they disconnected the call I've called on another occasion when I was on hold and then I was told there was no one to talk to me at this time so I've been a customer of Oyo for over 2 years but this situation has left me dissatisfied so not only are you losing a customer but I will be giving not satisfactory reviews for your customer service
The most disgusting room I've ever seen. Musty, unfinished, paint peeling, cockroaches... the door to the outside wasn't even complete. Do not use.
I have booked the oyo hotel through booking.com for my family,I booked oak skydale hotel but one day before the stay oyo person called and said the hotel you have booked is under maintenance so we will shift you to another hotel,they gave the address of the hotel by the name of oyo durg holiday Inn and said we have booked the hotel u can directly go to the property, no location given and oyo executive said that u can take the location from google, but I reached there, the hotel person told me that we already removed our hotel Fromm OYO before 7 days & denied for our stay. Do not stay here! Check out time is supposed to be 11am but the owner came knocking on our door just after 9 am yelling at my husband saying we would not get our deposit back because he spit on the ground outside of our room. And then he spit on my husband! He went in the room to check the room and decided he was just going to take 5 dollars from our deposit because we used a towel! I don't know why they want to provide towels and then charge you for using one! My husband called the cops on the owner for spitting on him, it's on camera! The cops told him it's not illegal to spit on concrete. Pretty sure you can't just go around spitting on people though. Called corporate and they said that the manager is refusing to give us a refund and claims we broke a table, which we did not. This hotel chain is a joke and they do not treat you like a customer at all. Do not stay at any of there hotels, if anything goes wrong they will take the managers word over yours. And even if you didn't do something and the manager says you did, it won't matter. Absolutely ridiculous!
Recently I checked in to hotel Metro Plaza in Mangalore with a prior discounted booking through oyo; but the hotel didn't honour it. Its shocking but true. Don't trust them.
