A Facebook advertisement came up for a Ronix wakeboard priced at $290, with boots, on overtons. I looked all over the internet for a similar deal, and the best I could find was $500. I immediately thought overtons was a scam site and came to check reviews. Reviews showed it as legitimate but terrible customer service and experiences, specifically on this website. I threw caution to the wind and made the purchase. Because I had been looking at used boards for $300 locally and was over the search. Overtons told me it would take 11 days to arrive. The website order number still shows "order received" with no indication it had shipped. But one day after placing the order, I received a FedEx notification of a package delivery on the way. Sure enough, two days after placing my order, the wakeboard and boots arrived in great packaging (original from Ronix). No scratches. Unopened. No dents. Exactly what I ordered. 9 days ahead of schedule. Their site still doesn't even show the order as processed, so I can see where issues may lie if you have a bad experience and need assistance... But everything for my order was flawless and I am shocked. I'll definitely give them a try again sometime.

I ordered cover for my Sea Ray 220 and was told it would be delivered in mid May 2023. I needed the cover in the first week of June 2023 but did not deliver. So I cancelled the order at the end of June. I then went on the trip to pick up my boat and I bought a cover at Menards that was much cheaper and worked very well for my 600 mile trip. Two weeks after I returned home in late July I received the cover. When I called Overtons I was told to call back the next week for status. When I called back they had altered the on line description to state that once the cover was ordered it could not be cancelled. That's what I call fraud on Overton's part. I've noted below that I have written an honest review. The form notes that it would be against the law if I wasn't honest. That's odd. Overtons has been dishonest with me and that should be against the law.

So I ordered replacement pontoon seats in late February and according to the website they were available to buy and would be delivered on 3/13-14/24 so about the 9th I start getting pieces in and after about 12-14 boxes are delivered it was determined that the seats were missing for the sofas. I called and was assured I'd get them in the next day or 2. Still nothing and now I'm told May is the soonest they can get them back in stock and then they'll ship my seats. I'm not happy with that. Had I known they were not available I would have chosen something else that was available.

Tip for consumers:
I would have been helpful to know part of my order was back ordered so that I could decide to check other options for my purchase. Or at least decided if I wanted to wait that long for delivery. It would have been nice for them to be honest when I called to check on those missing parts to tell me they were not available and not say they were in “pick status” at the warehouse and I would receive them in a day or so.

BEWARE!
Ordered several pontoon furniture pieces.
Still missing two pieces.

Tried using the online chat. That didn't work.
Finally got through to a breathing person who looked into my order. The two items missing were never shipped. She said it'd be 2-3 more weeks before I get those.
Customer service wasn't concerned in the slightest about the issue. "I'll get them when I get them".

No tracking number provided when I ordered. No mention of partial order shipping.

Tip for consumers:
Poor customer service. Lack of concern about a non-shipped order.

Shop elsewhere, nothing but problems all while being lied to. Ordered one thing and got something completely different, the cheaper version of what I ordered. Said 3 to 5 business days and got 3 weeks later. As far as the return, I'm on my 4th time calling over a two week span because they have not credited my credit card. The one star rating by most all is pretty damn accurate! If there was a 0, that's what I would be eating overtone's at. SERIOUSLY BUY ELSEWHERE

I bought a Bimini top based on the dimensions provided on their website it should have fit. I called them back and they sent me an email on how to return the item. I go to return the item it costs me as much as I paid for it to ship it back I reached out to their customer service and they said they were going to send me a shipping label called back in 2 weeks and now they act like they never said that and are not responding to my emails

Placed my order 6/4 delivery was between 6/10-6/14. It's now 6/20 and nothing. Tracking says check back soon! Package toured Indiana to Kentucky and back to Indiana for days. I emailed their "help" guy Marcus, days ago with no response. All tracking info stopped days ago. Only recourse is to have cc company reverse charges. Is fedx or usps to blame? I don't know? I bought from Overton it's up to them to see package is delivered in a timely manner.

I Ordered & paid for seats in June 2021, someone messed up order & we received partial delivery! Had to re order missing seats in September, It's now February 2022 & I'm still missing 2 seats! Where are my seats? I call & call, all I ever get is bs... Buyers beware, shop somewhere else, not worth it!

I ordered bunk wrap that according to the website was in stock. The following day after the order was placed I received an email stating that the item is back ordered. Calling customer service to check the status I was told that the item would ship on the 5th of September 2023. After calling customer support again I wast told that my order was approximately 4 weeks out. Don't wast your time or money with this company. The one star rating is only because that is the lowest rating I could give.

This company should be shut down! They are tied in with Good Sam and are a scam. Called several times after trying to unsubscribe from their 3-4 times a day spam mail. Do not buy from this company. No customer service and absolutely do not care about you. Just look at their reviews.

Ordered an item in July 2022 I was told it was in stock and would ship in 3 to 5 days. Paid nearly $2400 for item and was then told it was on back order. After six weeks was told it had shipped only to find out that they never had the item in the first place. Contacted the manufacture of the item, and they said that it has never been out of stock and was available for purchase immediately. Was told that Overton's refuses to pay them for item that I paid for, and therefore the manufacture will not ship the item to me as a overtons has not paid for the item to ship. I have been told by managers and supervisors of those managers that the issue will be resolved by Monday going on nine months now. I have called them more than 20 times and I'm always assured that they can solve my problem. Liars.

My only recourse is to request a refund through my credit card company for fraud. The item is no longer available for a purchase at the price I paid they have held my money for nine months and shipped nothing.

Never, under any circumstances, buy from this company

Ordered an item 3 weeks ago. They charged me $1,700 but have not communicated or shipped the item yet. I called their customer service twice and was summarily hung up on twice. I was being polite too. That's unbelievable! Emails have not been returned, etc. I'm sure they'll use the pathetic covid excuse. Bottom line, if you can't produce an item in short order, it should not be advertised on your website.

Don’t use it… they’ll use the covid excuse. I personally will not hear it. Adjust and be better.

Worst Customer Service I've ever dealt with. Lied too twice about when and if all my items were shipped. Products came in 4 different packages, weeks apart. No packing slips and took almost a month to get everything when I was told everything was in stock. When I called customer service for help; On hold for almost 1 hr. Had to pay shipping on a return Item that was their fault. I'll never do business with them again

I recently bought an XL/L FullThrottle Lifejacket from Overtons. It is not buoyant. It fills up with water and becomes very heavy. This is very dangerous considering it supposed to do the opposite. Overtons wont take it back or give me a refund.

I don't know how they stay in business! I've called half a dozen times held on line for 35 min. I've emailed to cancel my order as it's been over 2 weeks and they're in the United States and have yet to ship my order! Summer will be over and I'll probably still be waiting! I don't recommend you buy anything from this company!

I ordered a Penn rod and had booked a trolling trip. The rod showed up damaged and it was obviously to poor packaging. I used to buy all my boating supplies from Overtons, but no more, I use Hodges Marine now. The Overtons website says " If you're not happy then I'm not happy " contact *******@marcusvip.com. Never heard a word!

Ordered corner dock bumpers based on photos. However, photo did not disclose the features on reverse side of bumpers which made them unusable. For $54 product, I had to pay shipping of $10 and then $26 to ship them back! Never again. The website catalog is very poorly developed with no real explanation of products.

Be very careful. The photos and descriptions are very limited. Likely need to call and talk to a person since photos/descriptions will be incomplete.

I placed a $2800. 00 order in August 2021, it's now February 2022 and they cannot find my order. I have called several times and they keep saying they are going to call me back, yet I do not receive a response. Even worse they charged my card back in August so now my credit card company is saying it's too late to make a claim. Now I have to try the legal system to get my money back.

Ordered a IN STOCK item June 15. Finally received it July 8th after numerous phone call that promised me in would be sent out within a few days. I would have canceled the order if they were honest enough to say it would take over 3 weeks to ship it. I could have ordered from others for the same price. Will never use them again. Placed an order for boat seat bases on 5/31. Received a confirmation they will be delivered 6/10. Nothing. Checked back in track my shipment. Said delivery 7/2 to 7/6. Nothing!. Checked back again said 7/11 to 7/13. Nothing. Checked back again not it is saying processing check back soon. Well the boat wasn't done for our 4th of july party. What a disappointment. Sent an email and guess what? Nothing.
