I had bought a ticket for the 2nd of August. Airline made a change early June and advised them. They never advised us back in return. They keep putting you on hold and do bot fix your issue. We have to stay an extra night, we are certain that we will have to fight for compensation as it has now been 19 hours and we are still on hold.
On my first Ovago trip, a transcontinental journey with Qatar Airways, I faced baggage allowance confusion with Etihad. Despite Etihad's misleading info, they charged me 280 euros for excess baggage. Attempts to complain online failed. Ovago must ensure accurate info. Etihad acknowledged the issue, but I seek a satisfactory resolution to my loss and distress.
This company are a bunch of scammers! Better go with a more reputable company! They make empty promises and just keep your money! They have so many stipulations when it comes to refund and flight credit! They will not give you anything! Just empty promises
We booked our 3 tickets via OVAGO. Completed our one way trip to Dubai. We ask to change one travel member return journey date. They changed the travel for one member with fair difference and automatically cancelled our return journey as per original schedule. We called many times travel agent but no response or resolution from the travel agent. We have to book new ticket to return back home. Overall we spent lot of money on hotel, food and transportation.
Avoid this travel agency for any reasons, no customer service. Do not waste your time here. I lost the money for 2 tickets and my valuable time.
They charged me 180 usd to choose seats on the plane for a Miami-Madrid-Naples (Italy) flight that the Iberia company didn't recognize. I have asked for my money back but have not yet received an answer.
Please read all their reviews before booking. They offered Uplift (comparable to Affirm or Klarna), to pay over 6 months, but used my credit card to charge the entire amount. The credit card information was only left for Uplift to do the automatic withdrawals starting next month.
I called within minutes to see what happened and they make you go on a chat. The first girl, Amber, pretty much said too bad, my card was charged in full and the tickets were issued. Nothing they can do and if I canceled (which is within 24 hours of booking), I would be charged $100 processing fee.
They are total scammers!

This was for a wedding in Tuscany, and have over 100 people that were starting to book with them. Guess I saved them all!
They want to charge me $1700 for no show, while they advertise on their website that they charge $150.they are misleading the customer and they provide wrong information just to trap the client. They say something and they do something different. I paid up till now over $1500 for a reservation and they want to charge me another $1700 for change ticket.
Sadly I'll have to join the several bad reviews here, as was scammed out of $45 usd for "advanced seat selection". It could have been worse as I had gotten a "discount" at this price. What makes me angry is I asked the customer service rep several times if this is something I could have done on my own and she insisted that I would have to go through her company and not direct with the airline. It's a shame these types of setups exist, solely to gauge customers. I also told her repeatedly I didn't have money to spare which is horrible energy from a company willingly preying on unknowing customers. Bad juju!
Any review that you might find for ovago over 1 star is guaranteed fake. This 'company' wasted my time for over 2 years by misinforming me, misleading and ultimately screwing me out of $1000. They confirmed airline tickets and then called me a week later to tell me they were rejected. They told me my voucher was good until May 31,2022 and then told me the 'airline' changed their policies and that my voucher actually expired January 2022 AFTER issuing me flight tickets from said airline. Seriously, never use this company and if you have, definitely go file a claim with the DOT or anywhere else you can because in numbers we can take this company down and make sure this doesn't happen to any other people.
Avoid this company at all costs! I wish I would have read Ovago reviews before booking with them. My daughter booked a trip with her university through Ovago in November 2022. In April 2023, Ovago notified her that three of her flights on the return were cancelled. During 2+ months they did not resolve the issue. Thankfully we purchased travel insurance and were able to get a full refund. After numerous calls to customer service and being told to wait 24 hours(this went on for days), we booked her trip through Expedia in minutes. The customer service people at Ovago were polite, but lacked the ability to solve the issues. Stay away from Ovago at all costs!

They advertised a flight to us with a good rate. We went through the process, bought the ticket, got a confirmation. We then received a call from customer service saying that someone just bought those tickets before us, and the price was actually like $1000 more now. What the hell is that? Meanwhile, I was chatting with customer service that told me that the payment didn't go through because of fraud and asked me for another card. Two conflicting pieces of explanation about why it didn't go through. Extremely unprofessional, suspicious and an absolute waste of my time.
I purchased two tickets from Ovago, had to cancel them, followed every procedure required from Ovago and never received a refund. I have spoken to someone on a monthly basis with no help. Only response is it's still waiting, let me check into this and call you back. No one helps ever. Beware and stay away.
If u book via Ovago, you're on ur own. They won't help u if you needed help! You'll end up buying new ticket if anything happens and you can't fly on the original date. They won't call you back, and they find any excuse to dodge around the questions and get rid of you. I had to buy a new return ticket when any other agency could have easily fixed my issue.
Horrible customer service; they make you wait for an hour even if you are 1 in the queue. When you request a call back, they don't call you back either. They made a change in my reservation that needed me to call and find out more. Their website also does not pick up the itinerary so you don't see the trips under my itinerary. Google should drop this company if they are an agent!
Bought the plane tickets ans 24 hours later, a guy named Shawn called me and told me I have to pay 180$ to reserve seats or else they could not guarantee I'd have one. I asked him if I could do it at the airport for free and he said I'd pay more.
Called Delta directly and they reserved the seats for free.

Terrible customer service and communication, and they straight up stole my money. My flight was cancelled, and despite months of fighting, they refused to issue a refund. A year later they reached out, out of the blue, to say they paid me back. This is the worst company I've interacted with, in any capacity.

You have been harassing me by taking money for every stupid thing since October 2020. 400 for credit request, another 400 for flight changes, so total of 800 which is more than original cost of flight that is 693 bucks. They are taking advantage of pandemic and making money

This is my second time using this booking service, I had some serious doubts about booking not from the airline directly at the beginning, but this service (and especially Ozzy) made me realise that booking from them come with a much lower price and with extremely higher value. And the fact that Ozzy managed to meet all of my requirements made me truly happy.
If you buy tickets online, you can get a really good deal. However, if you need to cancel or change, just be sure to get the refund even though it is only 50%, because you CANNOT use the credit towards another cheap online fare - you have to wait one hour to talk to an "exchange" representative and get the ridiculously jacked up in person fare - about 1.5x what the web only fare is. So a $2200 web fare became $3000 when I tried to use my credit. UGH. Should be illegal.
They did not help me rebook a ticket. They accidentally canceled my existing ticket leaving me stranded on the ground. They keep denying this. I provided American Airline's documentation and emails to their customer service that showed that it was their wrongdoing. They still denied it! I ended up paying $700 more to be able to fly and overcome their errors and omissions. Worst travel experience of my life.
