Massive problems
November 15, 2024

I booked a flight on business class from YYZ to USM a few weeks ago.
I specifically spent almost 2 hrs getting that done, selecting the seats with your agent.

I looked on the Philippine Airlines site, which is down more times than not, so I can't even manage my booking on there. Then I go to your Help section (obviously a bot - Violet) and it can't confirm my seats either. What a mess! How then do I know that I have the seats I paid for and selected?

What happens when it's time to check in when I can't even access the Philippine Arlines site?

In all my years of flying (since 1976!) I've never had this much trouble, not even on economy tickets, not to talk of business class.

Your bot can't even provide the business lounges I can use in Toronto or Bangkok!

Travel to Argentina

You canceled our flight with no notice and when we rebooked all of our seat upgrades were gone. Due to our flights being changed we had to recheck our bags in Lima which almost made us miss our connection.

8 hour layover on the way home

Ovago's team makes it happen

I had both my flights rescheduled. And it was a scary situation. My travel with two elderly family members were spreadout b/w multiple days, with almost no way out. Then came 2 angels from Ovago and their leadership team - Vyastha & Candy. Who told me "Dont worry sir, we will try our best to sort this situation for you." I made several calls and there was a way to reach these superstars. Who did deliver for me and got me re-scheduled on a ticket that met our needs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We need people like you and a company like Ovago.

Name mismatch disaster

I purchased an international flight ticket on Ovago, without realizing that a "NONE" was added as my middle name in the e-ticket issued by Ovago when I have no middle name on my passport. This almost costed my boarding.

Please fix you website - when a passenger has no middle name, don't put "NONE" as a middle name

Awful customer service
December 14, 2024

I booked a flight with Ovago foreseeing a layover at JFK. After some days I was notified that the time for the layover was reduced by 1 hour and I deemed it was too risky to catch the connecting flight. I asked to rebook the in bound flight to an earlier one which was available. They kept promising that it would be confirmed within 24-48 hours. But nothing happened, nobody recontacted me, I had to call everyday to check status, having to re-explain everything to someone who would repeat the same story over and over.
Finally after 2 weeks and endless calls they wrote me that the flight could not be changed.

In summary: Ovago, never again

Multiple Itinerary Changes Caused Travel Delay

When my husband and I booked our trip to Egypt, we booked it in February for this month (November). My husband traveled ahead of myself and our three kids because he was scuba diving before we joined him for a family trip. They wouldn't let me book the four of us (myself and the three kids) on one reservation, so I had to book a reservation for my son and I and then for my other two children on another reservation. Over time, as the reservations kept getting changed due to flight schedule changes, I had to confirm those changes. Each time, I tried to assure that all four of us still had the same itinerary. I called Ovago's customer service several times, and each time they assured me that all four of us would be on the same flights. We arrived at the airport this morning, and our reservations were different. Because I was the only guardian traveling, and my reservation was earlier than my two kids on the separate reservation, they wouldn't let us fly. I had to call Lufthansa Airlines myself to reschedule and was on the phone with them for 2 hours. We had purchased a tour, and the kids and I will miss the first day (including the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx) due to this mixup. I've read some other bad reviews of similar things happening (they continue to change the itineraries until people cancel). I wouldn't recommend this company for booking flights.

Booking canceled

SCAMMERS! If I could have give -5 I would have done so. I purchased my 3 flight tickets online, payment went through successfully, and never got the booking confirmati1on on my email. That sounded like a red flag and I decided to call the customer service. They said to wait 24hrs. I waited the next day and got transferred between departments 8 times to only tell me that since my price fare increased that could not issue that ticket and they issues a refund for that mistake. The refund takes 3-10 business day and that caused me the opportunity to book another flight. Don't to my mistake and BOOK with a SERIOUS Company

1200 dollars Refund refused
Turkish airlines Flight was cancelled, and the company refused to give refund of 1200 dollars which I spent since October 2020. Case is being handled by US department of Transportation. Never book with them. They will loot your money and fill their pockets

Its a Scam, Run Away

This company is horrible to deal with when booking flights, almost impossible to rebook if you have to reschedule your flight and DO NOT pay Airline credit retention fee of $75. You will lose that as well. Whole service is like a call center scam where they are fooling their customers on everyday basis.

Double Charging
February 21, 2022

Essentially, this company has a criminal refund policy even when specific airlines cancel the flights (which means they compensate you for the money you spent on the tickets) and will attempt to double charge you with fees and seat prices. We booked and selected flights from this website only for the main airlines to not accept it and try to charge us again. When trying to rectify the situation with their online help center, they just kept repeating information from my previous messages and offered no real solution. It is now painfully clear that there is some sort of scam going on and this company needs investigation from the better business bureau. The customer service is abysmal and will give you a splitting headache, especially as large sums of money are on the line. Save yourself some time and worry and avoid this company like the plague.

It is scam company, they do not provide any about your ticket type is it flexible or none refundable. They gonna lie it is via company policy but after contacting AA they confirmed that it is not true. I wish I read reviews about them before got involved with them. Now they are trying to CONvince that they were showing that ticket not refundable which is a lie. Read all others reviews and stay away from this company.

Horrible company

I purchased a ticket to Peru. They charged me twice for the same name, same itinerary, and same day. I could not get them on the phone and,"chatted" with literally 10 different people who all gave me different answers and said someone would contact me within 24 hours. No one ever did. I wrote a strongly worded email and I received a response that said, Congratulations! Your issue has been resolved. I'm still waiting on my $1200.

Worst Service Ever

Worst service ever! These guys are actual scammers. I bought a ticket at a price but they send me an email we are processing it. After being on hold for hours, they tell me that the prices has changed no, so you need to pay more for us to confirm it. If your system is made of wood and you are slow, then don't run an agency. Then, they asked me to confirm the cancellation which was the end of patience. I hate these ****.

I cancelled my air ticket 4 weeks ago, but I still can't get the refund. They always said that the money is held by airline company. Bad service, long waiting time when call or just leave message. The staff can't answer any question. But they always call me to sell the insurance even I told them I have cancelled the purchase of the air ticket.
