My flights were canceled and I received a partial cash refund and $700 in vouchers to be used in the next year. There were 14 $50 vouchers and I tried to use them and they said I could use only one voucher per flight! Spoke to the supervisor and he was firm that there was absolutely nothing else that could be done and basically I have to suck up the $700 on a canceled flight. Robbers!
I booked an international round-trip ticket on their website, but they wrote 12:35am instead of 00:35. As a result, I missed the flight. They originally said they could help me change my ticket, but they refused to change my ticket later. Even the return ticket was non-refundable. One point. If you don't return the money, you are a robber.
Just recently booked a flight from San Diego to Bangkok through them. Unfortunately I had to cancel because my travel companion had to go into surgery. Ovago was no help when I was cancelling a week prior to departure. When I cancelled online it said I was going to get half my money back which was fine. Then I get an email that I was getting nothing. I bought the travel insurance and am attempting to work something out through them. Don't trust OVAGO!
Purchased tickets to a place where political instability is taking place. Called the airline after booking our flights for our family of 4 a few days after reservation was made to cancel. The State Department has issued a travel warning to location we where planning to go to. Was told I would be charged 80% in fees and charges to cancel a booking made only a short time before. Go elsewhere to book any type of travel! You will regret using OVAGO.
This website let me pay off a ticket to a wedding I was in. It is my fault for trusting it, but it was the only way. Since they have changed my flight to during the wedding. I have spoken to 5 different agents and sent a lot of emails. They basically told me not to worry it will be worked out. Today, a week before the wedding, I got an email saying my issue was resolved... the flight was exactly the same. Do NOT BOOK with them.
Booked 2 tickets with them and waited about 1.5 hours to get etickets or booking confirmation, tried their chat, tried their whatsapp and every time I called it redirected me to the useless chat. After hours of trying managed to talk to someone and was able to cancel.
I've booked a flight with these guys from Charlotte to Munich. Flight got canceled last moments, due to the strike in Germany.so i expect a full refund,I paid $120 for a seat, that I never got back, and $20 short for the ticket,was told this it's nonrefundable taxes,
But the airlines company assured me that should've gotten a full refund,go figure.

We've used Ovago a lot in past with no trouble. But then in 2020, my wife purchased a ticket to Spain from Ovago which was later cancelled because of Covid. She then paid a "cancellation fee", and bought another ticket for a flight that was also cancelled. We foolishly were thinking they were a reputable company, so we went along. Thinking all the while that the additional fee was odd. But my wife really needed to see her family, so we had to try. So now, we are out over $1200. 00 and even after hours upon hours with their ineffectual customer support (e.g. Bounced between their exchange department and many clueless reps, getting promised call backs that never happened, getting fed bogus info about the airline holding our money, etc). We finally got an email offering to refund_half_ our money, but this has so far proven to be false. After all these months, we are no closer to getting our money back. Too bad this site won't allow zero stars. Avoid at all costs.
Thanks to Ovago, I had the worst experience in my 30+ years of traveling.
I understand individual people make mistakes, but several members of their help services via chat, email, and phone, failed me. I was given incorrect information, given incorrect flight information, told to wait for a response from them so they could rebook me (several times) and wasn't helped at all after, and much much more. Every time, they assured me a manager would reach back to me via email, chat, or phone, and no one ever did.
None of my issues were resolved, and I paid for each solution myself. I only made it through this problematic experience thanks to the airport staff and Iberia personnel. If I'd known I'd have to end up resolving everything myself, I would've never waited on the supposed assistance Ovago was sending.

Wow do these guys suck. They didn't tell us our flight number had changed until we couldn't check in. Called the airline told us it was changed a month ago and ovago was supposed to tell us. I talked to probably 6 different people that day who all told me that the new tickets "were coming soon" no offer of anything to help fix the problem, just empty apologies. We ended up not being able to check into our flight until a few hours before and didn't get seats together (big deal for me as I'm a nervous flyer). Was hung up on multiple times and never felt heard by the people I spoke to. Never book with these guys.
These reviews are the same as Trustpilot. The pictures of "fake customers" the all have objects, never a human face (flowers, plants,...) they use the same terminology. Great experience, we were hesitant to travel, such and such is a kind person. Repetitive terminology. Fake reviews are on the rise among companies, they are very easily produced. I was scammed by OVAGO's outrageous fees upon cancellation on my flights. When I called another time to test them, they lied by claiming they did not know, whether they charge fees on refunding tickets. Some of the associates and managers I spoke to, claimed that they did not know. They are shady and misleading. This one man band called OVAGO in Moldova needs to be shut down.
If I could rate it lower, I would, they stole me, and I'm not even asking for a refund, I just wanted to reschedule my flight. Several e-mails exchanged, I spent two hours waiting for a call to be answered and they did not answer me. They are bad and corrupt.
I purchased two tickets around September and due to circumstances had to cancel both tickets. I've been getting the run around with customer service for 3 months now with no help just a representative who continues to say I'll contact you later about this or you need to contact the airlines. I did all the leg work and turns out per United airlines they refunded my booking agency aka Ovago 3 months ago for my ticket yet Ovago hasn't refunded me anything yet. I contacted Ovago again and to my surprise again they said they need to contact someone about this and requested I call back in 3 days. This company is the worse
I bought my plane tickets through this company and the airline canceled our flight. Ovago never contacted me either by phone or email to let me know that the flight was finally cancelled. No help or empathy with their customer service. I do not recommend their service. Hope I will get my refund soon it has been 11 days.
I booked a family trip to Europe with these guys. I show up at the airport and flight was canceled. No prior notification. I called customer service. An hour later I was able to get a hold of someone on the line. He told me he had rebooked it for the next morning. Next morning I go to the counter there no reservation for me and my family. Three hours later I can't get a hold of someone that can help. I get transferred to a supposedly flight change department where none answer ever.
If you have money to waste or time to spare go ahead fall for their cheap price.
My flight is in 4 hours. I paid $1800 for a plane ticket and have not received any check in info. The airline says ovago must issue me my ticket, but ovago is claiming they have no ticket to issue me. I spent 3 hours on the phone and got absolutely no where. Had a representative hang up mid conversation and was promised email and phone call updates, of which I did not receive.
Taylor worked diligently with me to make a rather complicated trip work. I admittedly am a challenging customer in that I wanted to know all options and changed my mind due to circumstances and was on vacation with limited connectivity during the process. We finalized today and she couldn't have been more accommodating! Thank you Taylor and the OVAGO Team!
I thought I purchased a ticket online thru Kayak with OVAGO but came to find out the date they were advertising were not available. All of a sudden after getting all of my information including my credit card numbers.
I got an e-mail from a guy named Clark telling me the date I chose no longer available even though they were advertising it and instead he gave me different dates that will work if I changed my flight date.
I agreed to the dates he offered himself but then after several phone calls and e-mails from me trying to reach them about alternative promised tickets they told me the date they told me as an alternative not good either!
What kind of joke of a business is this. Tell me please
All I can say is stay away from OVAGO via Kayak or directly! They will cost you time frustration and money!
They are not in the business to help people, they will find the ways to not help you!

Ovago doesn't even deserve to be called travel agency.
I Had to cancel a flight on January 2020 because of the pandemic and they never refunded me.
I provided all the evidence and info they requested and it didn't matter to them.
Their poor customer service never gave me answers and they STOLE my money.
I spoke to probably 6 different customer service employees that stop replying to my emails eventually.
They've been sending me the same emails for over A YEAR and they never gave me the money back.
These people are horrible.
I cannot even express how disgusted I am for the horrible unprofessional people they are. Give me my money back!
Bought ticket. They try scamming you. Dont answer. Customer service disconnects. They dont answer emails. Wont even let you talk from another #. Indians who hate you and their life. Speak fast and broken. Worst choice iv made in a while. Only flys to America's.
