Optima Tax Relief

Optima Tax helped me to resolve my IRS debt. Although it was a 3 plus year journey with Optima Tax, they were able to reach a final decision which in turn made me a very happy and satisfied customer. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone in need.

We started with Optima Tax back in November of 2022. We reached out to them asking if they were able to help us with our 940's for federal. They stated yes but it was going to cost $22,000.00 to do so. We paid our first payment on 11-17-2022. We finished paying them on 8-17-2023. Since we paid them in full in the amount of $22,000.00, we have not heard anything from them! When I would call, they would ask to send them the last 3 months of pay stubs. I have tired numerous times to ask for the resolution from the IRS but no response. Need Help! Don't call them...

I have been waiting over a year now for a resolution and they never call back when requested. The people you talk to say they aren't part of your team so they can't help you. And the "team" never calls back. I paid over two thousand dollars and I believe it was all a scam.

So far I've been very happy with optima I had minimal paperwork from my business because I got sick and when it got shut down the previous owner threw my paperwork away and optima has been able to work with that and I'm very thankful I have an appointment on the 19th at 2:00 p.m. to find out the final outcome I pray the optima has gotten rid of my bill because I have given optima all my money I have no money to pay taxes I am disabled living on fixed income

I contacted Optima with the hopes of getting help with IRS back taxes and all I received was a bunch of bull. Everything they tell you is read off of a script. After I paid the initial fee I was told that someone would call me to confirm information and go over other details, which they did a week later. I requested to speak with the gentleman that was handling my case and was given the run around until I threatened to cancel. I finally received a call back from the representative and was not pleased at all. I was advised that I owed the IRS far more than I actually did and then was advised that I would have to pay Optima a small fortune in order for them to handle my case. I declined the offer because I couldn't afford their fee. I was told in the beginning that I would get my money back if canceled within 14 days and have yet to receive a dime. I do not and will not recommend Optima Tax Relief to Anyone...Ever!

It took a while to get everything settled with the IRS, but it was definitely worth the wait!. I did not get to talk with all of the "behind the scene" people,and they are the unsung heroes,in my opinion,but I did have the pleasure of communicating with Adriana and she did a fantastic job! I applaud everyone that worked on my case. Optima did everything they said they would do,and I could not be more pleased with the outcome! If you are having IRS issues,I highly recommend you get on the phone with optima TODAY!

They lure you in with a saleperson who will tell you what you want to hear so you pay upfront, this person has literally no idea if they can help or not. Then they stall for a year so they can do your next years taxes and hope some money hakes out. When it doesn't they set up a simple payment plan anybody could do with the IRS. That's all. I spent 3k on Optima, after a year of stalling I owed the entire amount to the IRS as well as roughly 2k in penalties and interest. They then offer everyone $350 to sign an agreement not to disparage the company. You can read all the fake positive reviews, but look at the negative reviews- every one of them says the exact same thing- those are the ones that are true

When we initially spoke to a representative at Optima, we were assured they would do everything they could to assist us with our tax problem. We decided to sign with them, because we knew we needed help. It was a very stressful time, but we immediately felt better after talking to them just once. We provided all of the documents they asked for, and responded quickly to their calls and requests. We did our part. In turn, Optima got us a better outcome than we ever expected. Every single representative and attorney we spoke with was polite, professional, and thorough. We highly recommend them!

This review is particularly about Ruth Rodriguez because she has been the only positive result during this seemingly long process with Optima Tax. Working with Ruth was a pleasure. Ruth helped move us forward in preparing the necessary forms needed. I honestly don't know what we would've done without her. Ruth reached out when we had no idea how to fill out the forms Optima asked us to return to them. Working with her made the process comfortable and uplifting during a stressful time. Ruth has been both professional and personable. Though we still have a ways to go in this tax process "because of Ruth" we feel confident Optima Tax has our best interest in mind and will lead us though to the end.

My wife and I had several years of unpaid taxes. It seemed at tax time we would file but always owed and very rarely qualified for a tax refund and became frustrated. We knew at some point the IRS would start to come after us for what we owed and needed to do something about it before it was too late. We did a little research to see if the claims they made about the level of service they provided was on the up and up. We were presently surprised at the amount of good reviews that were posted and decided to give them a call. I'm glad we did. Optima took on our case and delivered as promised. They were able to reach an acceptable agreement with the IRS for us to satisfy and resolve our tax issues. We would recommend them to anyone to who needs to resolve their IRS problems. They are a life saver.

It cost me $10,000.00 more than my original tax dept when I hired these crooks. One of the biggest financial mistakes I have ever made! One star because this system wouldn't let me submit with zero stars.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Thank me later! Paid them almost $5,000 for to fill 3 tax returns. I thought these people were professionals and knew the ropes of getting the most out of a tax return. (for example, tax breaks, First Initiative Programs ect) That is a scam. The First Initiative program ONLY puts you on a payment plan. You can do that yourself. Spent to much money to get the bare minimum and I ended up owning more under these people. A total rip off!
