The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

The choices I wanted were clearly shown. Very pleased with this site.
I ordered tickets from Online City Tickets and it couldn't have gone any smoother!
I could pick out the seats I wanted, paid for them and they were in my email inbox
Very shortly after to download.
Excellent!
Wonderful service - appreciate the follow-up on whether or not tickets were received. Service was straight forward and quick. Very happy with costs. All questions answered in the FAQ section... will consider this as an option again.
I won't lie; I was leary. I have always ordered tickets directly from the official site. However, since the event is quickly approaching, tickets were sparse and prices were high. These tickets offered the best band for my buck so I went for it. I couldn't be happier. My tickets arrived within 24 hours, are completely legitimate, and I got a great price for great seats. Thank you! I will use your site again!
This site came up first when I typed in a search for my venue and event but they are in no way the official site unless you want to pay through the nose for your tickets. They don't even show you what seats you are getting. I won't be fooled again!
Great service! Not only did they keep me updated on the status of the shipment, but they even called me to confirm that I received what I ordered and to make sure everything was good.
Glad we were able to get the tickets we wanted, but $24.30 service charge per ticket is out of sight. I can see the $24.30 service charge for all four tickets that I ordered but not per ticket.
I feel that should be looked at and hopefully changed.
Only one complaint, I would like to have my tickets mailed or downloaded quicker that what they are offering.
Too expensive. Too many fee for multiple tickets. Tickets purchased together should only have one fee.
I just think this is a place to go for tickets it was quick and easy!
The online experience and checkout was okay. I wish I could have hand-picked the seats by seeing which seats were available, rather than just the rows. The tickets in my row varied by as much as $20 and I couldn't tell why. Also, I would expect to pay about $25-30 in service fees per ticket, but double that was too much.
I went online to Sprint Center and look at the tickets for Trans Siberian Orchestra December 3rd at 8 p.m. the ticket prices themselves were reasonable and understandable with as close as it is to the event however I was not expecting to pay $26 per ticket for instant download when I did not want instant download I just wanted them to be mailed to me like I was able to get offered two years ago and even last year was offered and then I had to pay another fee for processing and tax to bring my total from 165 to $175 to a total of $238 just to buy two tickets to a concert! This is horrible customer service I know a lot of people who like me do not trust instant download links on anything because it's tied to the internet and anything is possible I myself hate doing things electronically I would have much rather preferred to have had an option to have my tickets mailed to me the likelihood of me going through this service again is Slim
I thought the overall process of purchasing tickets was quick and easy however I felt the service fees and cost to email me tickets was a bit much. Total ticket cost was $202 for 2 tickets but the final total after service fees and emailing fee put me at $269!
It was easy and fast but the price is deceptively expensive. The service fee is rediculous and uncalled for. No other website is that expensive
I recently purchased tickets for the Roger Waters concert through OnlineCityTickets and while the process was quick via website, I realized I'm paying just as much in fees as I am for the ticket itself. The total of my order for three (3) tickets was $864.95 ($288/ticket) and when I received the actual tickets they're listed for $146.00. The difference is $142.00 which is $4.00 less than the tickets themselves. I contacted OnlineCityTickets directly and was assisted by "Luke" who continued to tell me I should have read the fine detail... which I did. Moving forward I will never use OnlineCityTickets again to purchase tickets.
The service charge per ticket was crazy HIGH! Almost $30 per ticket I bought 9 tickets... you do the math! Next time I'll try and find another vendor.
Site was very easy to use. I expected a little bit of a markup on ticket price, but was rather disappointed that it was almost double the price of face value for the tickets
The process was easy but the tickets were much higher than the face value. But I got the tickets in the area I wanted.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
