The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Great so far, although having to write one hundred characters in order to submit the review is not really that great
I'm glad we have tickets, but it cost double than the original venue prices. Other than the price, it was an easy transaction. Haven't used tickets yet... I'll update after show.
The experience was OK, nothing special or unexpected, just regular ticket buying.
I have nothing further to say
Yeah I got my tickets and I'm going to the concert I have been wanting to see for along time and can't wait for it to come
I had a nice conversation with Juanez (please forgive my misspelling) who was very helpful, seemed to care, and wanted to get me the best seats for my budget. Unfortunately after paying for my order I get an email "Your OnlineCityTickets.com order for tickets... has been set for cancellation, as we cannot accept orders from individuals who have withheld payment for past ticket orders from us or from another company in our industry. " With a suggestion to call my bank for more details. My bank tells me the payment is pending, and that the cancellation is due to either my bank not wanting to do business with OnlineCityTickets, or vice versa. I've never "withheld payment" as the site suggests, so I had to book tickets through another site. Really is a bummer cause the guy who helped me was great.
I received my ticket but it says issued to Bruce Borenstein which is not me. I hope this is not a problem.
Advertised I would save 20% off my order today. I contacted them that they charged me full price and they said that would only be if I signup for a newsletter and received that on a future order of their choice. False advertising!
From past experience, having front row seats in the balcony/2nd tier is ideal for us. No one blocking our view. Easy to choose Row A seats, but no apparent way to see which seat numbers we were buying until after purchase. Since a number of seats were available at various prices in Row A, I chose the highest price, hoping that meant closest to the center. Once purchased, that proved to be a bad assumption - we are 25 seats from center. Not sure how much farther off center the lower priced Row A seats could have been.
I received an order confirmation. I have not received my order yet of course. I am bothered that I specifically did NOT order insurance, yet my co formation said I did and that is be charged separately. I then received notice if the billing, so now I have to deal with that when I never ordered it to begin with. Once I receive my tickets, and go, I'll be happy. Lyn
The site was Quick and easy and economical. It Gave options for dates, times, prices, seating. I found it Easy to navigate page.
The service was fabulous and really nice. The fees were atrosish. I recieved a fee for getting the tickets emailed but I had no choice in the option of how they were delivered.
The site was easy to review seats and ticket prices. I found exactly what I was looking for in minutes. My purchase was made easy with Apple Pay and it was super quick.
Also you charge high fees then offer me a $25.00 coupon that
Really makes a lot of sense, if you could do that after why the heck
Wouldnt you automatically give that to customers to keep their business?
Buen trabajo, los boletos se vendieron de forma rápida y estoy en espera de entrega de los mismos. Espero cerrar el proceso de manera correcta y que no haya ningún contratiempo
Make sure you ask if the seats are blocked or partially blocked. I was not told and had to go back and cancel due to the error by the seller. They were very cooperative on this level even though there is a no refunds policy. This was their error and they owned up to it.
Please provide your clients with seating selection while reserving seats for future showing. It is unfair for early clients reserving seats. There is no available seat information for a certain day showing. Thank you and hoping for your success in the future.
Quick and easy but fees are too pricey. If i would have known of a better service to use I wouldn't have used this service!
Site hit me with more than $30 in fees fotmr two tickets. These fees should be posted up front and not added at the end.
Got three stars based on my getting the tickets I wanted at a reasonable face value.
SUPER easy and VERY clear where the seats are located!
LOVED the MAP of the arena. It was easy to locate seats, easy to process tickets... Great experience!
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
