The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Very pleased. It has been a long time since I have ordered tickets online. The process was very smooth, which made it stress free.
It was easy to buy the tickets and get them on my phone. The tickets are downloaded, so I will not need a connection to access them.
$114 in service charges is unacceptable, especially since the whole process is automated and I did most of the work. I will be happy to be on your payroll with rates like that. My guess though is your CEO is taking a vacation somewhere on the customer's dime. I would see a lot more shows if the service charges were not so outrageous.
It is my plan to write a ticketing app and replace you with service charges under $5.
To much money for delivery. Really you wantb100 letters. Well I hope that this is enough. Nice that miss spelling also count.
I had a great experience ordering tickets through this service. Will go this route from now on. It a speedy process and took no time at all to receive my tickets!
Manny was a pleasure to speak to on the phone. He was very patient while waiting for me to get the right credit card and he found great seats for us at a great price so we are very happy with our experience.
Quick and easy! Reasonably priced, easy site to use, no complaints! Very satisfied! I will definitely recommend this site to all my friends.
I purchased tickets for an event on August the 4th and bought "Cancellation Insurance" with my package because my daughters job requires last minute business travel and we knew there might be a risk... sure enough there was... It now 4 days before the event and I have not tickets yet, so I attempt to use my so called $75 "Cancellation Insurance" only to find out its WORTHLESS. I have been scammed and would have been better off taking my chances and buying tickets from a scalper on the curb if we had actually attended the event. Buyer beware this sight is a joke and these folks will RIP YOU OFF in a heartbeat and not even blink. Use a reputable sight like Ticket Master of StubHub and skip this sight all together.
"The event insurance covers instances of emergency, such as severe illness or a death in the family. It does not allow customers to freely exchange or cancel tickets. Feel free to contact Allianz Event Insurance directly at *******993.

When will I receive the tickets so that I can at least attempt to resell them?

Total bull...

So basically OnLine City Tickets is an OnLine SCALPER service with Service Charges that the street vendor cannot charge... I see... well wait till I yelp and Google Comment that to the world."
I've used OnlineCityTickets multiple times now, and every time the process has always been quick and easy. I definitely recommend it to first time ticket buyers or anyone just trying to get some tickets for concerts!
I ordered three tickets for the Lindsey Stirling/Evanescence concert, and wish there was less confusion associated with that process. We wanted to sit in the lawn section with friends, but seats were numbered and sold for certain section. Had to call and wait on hold for a while only to be informed that there are no seats assigned in the lawn section since there are no seats there and no sections. Everyone sits wherever they manage to put their lawn chair or a blanket down. So why is the ticket buying process so difficult?
I think that making people wrote a review is dumb I don't really have anything to say about the service it was fast but having to write this review is stupid I have better tho vs to do
It was great. I will you this cite again if I go to any other concert. It was a fast process and didn't take me through a bunch of ends and outs
Easy fast process. I would definitely use this service again. The only annoying part is this comment section where they are forcing me to make my review comment at least 100 characters long. They don't have a counter either so you just keep guessing until you reach 100.
The service fees were much higher than they were supposed to be. Tickets were $40 each. Then there was a $12 service charge for each ticket, which is a bit much.
OnlineCityTickets is a total scam. Bought tickets@ Winspear Opera House for $187 each. Turns out they were resold tickets with a $69 face value. Plus they charged a $300 fee above and beyond ticket prices for 5 tickets. Refused to refund our $. Filing a complaint with our bank and the FCC! Also filing a formal complaint with the State Attorney General's office.
Never use them!
I purchase tickets for Charlie Wilson for August 25th date. Charlie could not make the date due to unforeseen events. The date was changed to November 30th. So according to there terms this was not a cancellation, but a reschedule. I must now make the date of November 30th or forfeit my $250.00 dollars.
How much to they make holding everyone's money for 3 months?
That is a 3 Month wait to see a concert that was Billed as a Summer Jam that now want happen until Thanks Giving. They offered me nothing in return for holding MY MONEY for 3 months. I will never buy tickets from this business ever again. I had also purchase (same event) from the United Center where event was to be held, and they did refund MY MONEY.
Able to get seats that weren't available elsewhere, however very expensive... more than double the price of the tickets! Very easy to navigate the site and make the purchase. Tickets arrived in my inbox immediately and printed with no problem. Kind of wish I had read other reviews before making my purchase. I will know to seek tickets sooner to the next event I wish to attend, however if you wait too long... this is the place to go.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
