The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

Buying my tickets was fast and easy. No issues and lots of choices at multiple pricepoints. There were no technical issues and My tickets were emailed to me instantly
It's been super easy so far! Until I had to write this review which has to be a 100 words. So now it's just random rambling
This was really easy and straightforward. Also, the fastest transaction i have ever made online. Thank you so much!
I think this was really good way to purchase tickets. It was quick and easy and simple just took me like 3 steps.
Everything appeared very quick, smooth, straight forward, except advanced nod on the $18.35 extra per ticket processing fee. That seemed rather high to me, when the ticket pricing within sections was all over the place. The process was smooth, but the ticket price I quoted to friends was $60 not $79.+. Would have been nice to see the service charge BEFORE ticket confirmation... Just saying it's a wild card amount. Otherwise, all good.
This was quick and easy to navigate! Very excited and no problem downloading my tickets! Thank you for making it so simple!
So far, so good. Easy and quick to order. Would certainly use them again as the need arises. Only issues is the high surcharge - as a percentage, more than other re-seller sites.
User friendly, easy... fees somewhat pricey... but there were also better selection for rows as opposed to others
It was exellent and I have my ticket thank you very much can't wait for the concert I will see you on Thursday night for the concert. Thank you again
Service was convenient and easy to use. However now I am feeling like I am back in school and required to write an essay.
On a positive note, the website was very user friendly. The downside is the surcharge cost added to the ticket price. I am doing all the work and even printing my own tickets! There should only be one surcharge per order, NOT Per Ticket. And it shouldn't be more than $10-$15. Any more than that is simply taking advantage of your customer.
Online City Tickets is a good, easy to use site, with some choice seating tickets, although the service charges were extremely high. I think the tickets were also well above face value, but understandable, as that is based on supply and demand. I chose to get some tickets that were email-able, which probably made the price higher, but worth it. Honestly I thought I was buying them from Bridgestone Arena's official vendor, but noticed immediately after that I did not. Ticketmaster is the official site, but when I checked immediately after buying these from Online City Tickets, Ticketmaster only had a few seats left, and they were really no good (nosebleed, side view). So, I am happy that I "accidentally" bought these tickets from Online City Tickets. I had to print the tickets, which is no problem, and they were actually issued through Ticketmaster to one individual, who I presume then posted them to Online City Tickets for resale. Overall, very happy with the purchase, because it is last minute for a concert that I really wanted to see badly (James Taylor with Bonnie Raitt), and they are great seats
Site was easy to use but cost advertised per ticket is deceiving... I don't mind paying certain prices for tickets but the "total" cost is what should be listed...$22.00 surcharges per ticket is pretty steep!
Was super easy n fast! It was easy to navigate, convenient and quickly got my tickets! Will def recommend this site
Excellent buy thanks for my order evrything is hood thanks i already recice my tikets y yo trato de escribir en ingles pero en español les dire que el servicio fue fantástico gracias ya tengo mi orden
I purchased tickets for the Iron Maiden show in San Antonio June 24th in FEBRUARY! I got tickets in the middle row towards the back and by the sound booth so I could see the FULL stage and HEAR the music CLEARLY! I was told I would receive my tickets 2 days before the show, 2 DAYS? It is FEBRUARY! I waited impatiently for my tickets to arrive. 4 days before the show the tickets shipped, yes; shipped. Not an email, 2 day shipment with UPS. 2 days later, no tickets. I called UPS and found out the tickets were lost. I called online city tickets a total of 5 times in the next day to try to get the problem solved. On EVERY call I was told that they would contact me. Finally on the 5th call and no return call, the night before the show and 412 miles and 6 hours away from Sam Antonio I was told that I would have seats on the same row CLOSER to the stage and the tickets would be emailed to me. 7 hours and 1 phone call later I recieved the tickets via email@ 12:00. I woke up the next morning and left for the show. I walk over to my seats and find that I am facing the side of the stage. Who wants to pay $200 a ticket for a side stage view. I did not see the stage set or back drops until I pulled them up on Facebook after the show. This is by far the WORST experience I have had with tickets in my life and I have been to nearly 100 concerts in my lifetime. In short, just buy your tickets from Ticketmaster
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
