The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

I purchased four tickets for my daughter and her friends to go see REO Speedwagon and STYX. I purchased seats that were marked as $50 face value. I also paid for a processing fee. It ended up coming to about $260 which I thought was a pretty good deal. When I downloaded the tickets they had a $27.50 face value, And they were nowhere near the seats that I had chosen. So I should have paid about $150. Somebody is making a lot of money on this scam. Also the tickets are not even in my name. The concert is this Sunday, and we better be able to get in the gate with these tickets. This company stinks!
I was happy with the site and the speed I got my tickets, but $21 bucks PER ticket service charge is crazy. S20 bucks per order would be fine to me. Not only that, then they stick you with a $7.50 download charge? Really, charge me to download the tickets I just bought and paid a huge service charge for? That's too much if you ask me.
Easy, quick & reliable.
Got my notice of purchase right away for the performances I wanted to see.
Used it for two days of concerts.
Tell you after the show. Can not wait to attend. Long time country and western fan. Tim and Faith are my wife's favorites.
I thought I was on the "Bridgestone Arena" site and then after checking out realized it was on "Online City Tickets"... I just hope this is legit. I did receive via email the tickets and have printed them out... BUT (and they disclose this at the end too) it has the "sellers name" printed on ticket instead of mine. THAT is not going to make the husband very comfortable about spending almost $400 and traveling 3 hrs to see concert ------Please give me some peace of mind ONLINE CITY TICKETS! Thanks!
Was nice and easy to use I would really tell my friends and family to use it works awsome and I have to wright 100 things that sucks but o well
I did not see an issue, buying tickets is easy and you are immediately emailed a confirmation. Excelent service
It is critical that I receive my tickets via UPS by noon on Thursday July 20th and no later. I need to leave my house by 1pm at the latest to drive the distance and make the show. IT IS CRITICAL THAT I RECEIVE THE TICKETS VIA UPS BY NOON ON THURSDAY JULY 20TH AND NO LATER
Quick and easy. There was a service charge but yeah there always is. I don't see an issue with the price I paid for a very popular artist as close as I am
Feel sick I do not know if I would to get my money back (700.00) never again wow how dumb I was. Too trust this site
Motown - Nice and easy but fees too high, 2 tickets, 1 transaction but charged 2 service fees for each ticket plus eticket charge >$70 n top of the tickets
Received my e-tickets, with no issues
this thing scars me... such a large amount of money involved and so many things
that can go wrong... but was able to print my tickets with no problems
thank you
First time using this website. Tickets came on time and are as described. Would purchase from here again.
Outrageously high, almost hidden, service charge! I just purchase 2 tickets for $117 each and was charged $71.36 for service fee!
On the surface, this company seems to be legitimate. Buying tickets is easy enough, and you are immediately emailed a confirmation of the ticket. However, the "support number" provided on the website is the number for a company completely unrelated to Online City Tickets, and they informed me that they receive hundreds of calls a day with questions regarding their tickets. There is no way to contact a real employee. In my situation, my credit card was charged for my ticket yet it was never delivered to my house. The company claims that it was delivered but I never received it. I will never use this company again and will tell all of my friends to stay away.
Sinceramente fue una experiencia increible haber comprado tickets aqui. Buensiimo. Estoy muy feliz.
Y mi niƱo tambien
Quick and easy... and efficient! Voykdnt find a decent sear for my friend. She needed a single ticket and wanted a good view! This site popped up and voila! She is sooii happy! She loves her Bruno!
Super easy to use and clear instructions! Very happy with my purchase. Glad I was able to get tickets... they were selling fast. This concert will definitely be a sellout.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
