The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues with ticket delivery, refund policies, and customer service responsiveness. Many customers report being charged exorbitant fees, receiving invalid tickets, and facing unresponsive support channels, leading to frustrations and claims of being scammed. While some customers appreciate the variety of events offered, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of trust and reliability. The company's rigid policies regarding refunds, particularly for postponed events, further exacerbate negative perceptions, suggesting a need for improved customer service and clearer communication.

It was quick and they has so many more tickets to choose from. I got my tickets immediately. I will be using this anytime I order tickets from now on
It was fast and easy. Great job on the site. Looking forward to the event. Will use it again. Didn't expect it to be that easy and fast.
I clicked, paid and received my tickets in less than 10 minutes! NICE- and the cost was less then I have paid before on other on line services. All services have service charges but still paid less than other sites! THANKS!
Site was easy to use. Terrible fees added at the end. Service charges are outrageous especially when you are printing them off yourself. It is really not nevcessary. I am happy I am going to the show.
Got the tix I wanted but was robbed in the process! Service charges outrageous! In Canada so why in USD? Robbed again!
Got exactly what I paid for and was expecting. They were emailed right away and I had no problem at the gate. My team lost though - maybe you can work on that, online city. Thanks
It was a quick and easy. I had no problems filling out everything. The service charges was bit much but overall its good.
Very easy to order.New to the website, but I would recommend to others. This is all I can say about my experience with this website
Would give a zero rating if I could. 2 tickets at the face value of $49 ea. Cost me $289. BE AWARE civic center websites reroutes you to this site. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT EVER USE THIS SITE. It's outrageous how much they charge.
Service charges are excessive especially when combined with a download fee! Easy to spend more than face value for tickets.
I had a question pertaining to my tickets purchase, I asked to be contacted via my phone number or my e-mail, both of which I wrote. I then tried calling the Online City Travel phone number, and was on hold for one hour before I finally hung up. I just now hope that I receive the $20.00 offer to order my tickets through this site.
We paid just over $500 for 2 tickets priced at $209 each. The service charges are outrageous and shameful considering nothing is printed or mailed - just instant download. In the end, they do this because they can... we still paid, but we have already buyer's remorse. Never ever again! Horrible. As far as "service" goes, how can I comment on something non-existent? It is an electronic transaction that takes seconds, they rape you and email you your tickets. Sucks. Stay away - next time we will wait until closer to show date and buy on StubHub.
Fast reliable service tickets arrived promptly upon order pdf was easy to print. Payment option was fast secure and reliable.
Wow... we purchased roughly $800 worth of tickets and ended up paying $1,021.50 because of a $79 a ticket service fee. I could have bought another ticket for that amount of money. The service is fast... but I won't purchase through here again because of the fees.
I like the service and I want to know when I going to resive my tickets and what sits and row. I resive a confirmation of my order and also a canselation and I don't know why I resived the canselation of my order
Gotta change with the times remember standing in line hoping tickets didn't sell out, this was Quick N Easy I like it.
Do some research before purchasing. I paid $88.00 for a for a $27.00 ticket. Fees were double what they should've been. The one star is for the fast service. To top it off, my credit card was compromised within an hour since making this purchase, charging $3,500.00 to my account, so someone in the business is untrustworthy. Thank goodness my credit card company notified me before the charges went through, and said it's very likely the fraud came from this site. I'll never use this website again.
Answer: In my case, they sent e-mail that the tickets would be forthcoming. When I failed to receive them the week before the concert, per e-mail download as promised, I called their #, the person on the other end told me that it was will-call at the box-office with the copy of the e-mail I needed to bring. The box office told me that as a 2nd line seller, they did not keep them there. When I called to ask why they did this to me and demanded re-imbursal, they sent the tickets per e-mail download THE DAY AFTER THE CONCERT. They tried to cover their tracks with the credit card company, the problem for them was that the time stamp of their sending the tickets reflected the day after the concert. So essentially, they are not even competent as rip-off artists.
Answer: So sorry to hear you have been conned by this outfit. Apparently sometimes they DO send valid tickets, so I hope you are one of the lucky ones. I suggest you tell your credit card company (by phone and IN WRITING) that you are disputing this charge. Also tell everyone you know to avoid this rip-off company. I know this doesnt help you now, but in the future buy tickets only from Ticketmaster (I've never had a problem with them). Good luck.
Answer: I couldn't even open the download so I called the number and all I got was an answering system to send email and I did but no reply from them so the next day a call about 50 times until I got someone. After getting transferred to 3 different people and waiting about an hour for the supervisor the guy told me no refunds are allowed but money is 100% guarantee if it doesn't work at the time of the event. So I'm praying to God they are good the event isn't until the end of November
Answer: They are scoundrels. I know where their office is and went by there recently. I am laying out a plan.
Answer: If you have already purchased your tickets from this outfit, good luck. They sent me tickets for a concert in Tennessee and I asked for and live in Florida. They said it was MY mistake and that I asked for TN. They supposedly tried to resell the tickets and couldn't so I was out $300.00 for two tickets. They have something like 130 complaints and are a scam outfit. Next time order elsewhere and good luck with these tickets.
Answer: I just cancelled my order because they never sent the tickets. At least you got yours so maybe they will be okay. I would call the arena where the event will be and ask them how many issues they have had with this company. I emailed five times and they always sent an automated response back. Then, when I was in a meeting at work they finally called and the number just read, "33333" when they called me. No return phone number... very strange. They left a message to call them so I did immediately after my meeting (15 minutes)... the automated system was up and did not allow me to speak with a person. Thus far, I have never spoken to a real person when I call their number. I disputed the purchase, got my money back and bought tickets for much less at StubHub. I was surprised because my last tickets at Stubhub were kind of expensive... but these tickets (McCartney) were not too crazy expensive. Anyway, best of luck, and I would make a back up plan.
Answer: You will get your tickets, but they will likely have someone else's name printed on them. Worst of all, they will most likely not be honored at the gate/box office. My advice is to get a refund NOW and buy tickets from a reputable outlet like Ticketmaster. City Online are thieves and scammers. See my review about James Taylor concert in Norfolk, Virginia.
Answer: Contact the venue, give them all the details on the tickets received and verify if U will be able to legitimately use the tickets, considering the issues with this company that are so overwhelming. My experience reviewing all the people who describe their issues with them is that even if the tickets are usable, the overpayment is so excessive that it would have been better dealing with the regular ticket outlet for the venue.
Answer: Yes Ann, you will get your tickets. You just over paid by a HUGE amount... but other then that, the company is legit. They are just robbers the way they do it... thats all. Have a good time and yes, at least now you learned a lesson (like all of us on this site);-)
