I ordered a dress for my son's wedding on 3/19/12. Got a postcard telling me that it would be delayed until 4/20/12. He gets married on 4/27/12. Do I take a chance that they may actually send it? I tried their online chatting but could get absolutely NO information about it. Why bother with a "Chat" if you can't tell the customer anything? I was told I would not be charged until they ship. Waiting to see if that has happened...
This site has a LOT of cool stuff... but they are often out of sizes. I have put requests in for things when they come back into stock, but so far that has never happened. The few items I have purchased there were quite nice, even if the shipping is a bit steep. I recommend this site to woman who are plus size but don't want to wear potato sacks. Also, I have noticed that if you give an item a negative review, they do not publish it... so everything is skewed to their benefit, so I think it is good to be aware of this.
They often advertise clothing for sale that is not actually available. Their projections of dates of availability of back-ordered items are greatly understated (by 1-2 months). It is common for back-ordered items to eventually become completely unavailable. Once items are in stock, shipping takes 2 weeks at best. They state they will bill you "When the item ships", although arrival login at the shipping facility is a week to 10 days after the posted ship date. (the date your are billed). Shipping time after it arrives at the shipping facility will take weeks.
Worst customer service experience ever. Ordered an item express shipping that stated "in stock" but then had to be back-ordered. Customer service rep would not admit their mistake in allowing me to order the item. Would not let me speak to a supervisor. Order is now hung up. No one knows what's going on. Just completely unacceptable.
I have ordered several times from this site and returned items and have never had an issue. I find the orders simple to track and returns are simple too. I have never had to contact customer service so I cannot speak to their effectiveness, however the fact that I haven't had to contact them speaks volumes. I do think their clothing can be a little pricey and I have received a few items that were really cheap but have learned to avoid those particular labels. Overall I am very pleased with them and will continue to shop the site.
Used to love shopping the site and the addition of the other brands made the selection much better. Now I think they should reconsider their marketing, merchandising and executive team. Running sales advertising up to 70% off, then raising normal prices 50-70% is not a sale. You may be able to fool some of the people, but those of us who have spent years in retail management, especially at the corporate level know the ploy. You are no longer a value retailer. I believe you would do much better offering everyday competitive pricing instead of trying to trick consumers. Shipping has also slipped and returns are not easy. Terrible shipping information makes it difficult to track orders.
OneStopPlus absorbed Woman Within and Roamans and some other companies. On the OneStopPlus website it indicates that if you are part of the Shoppers Club, shipping is $2.99. This is NOT true. Shipping is now $3.99 (who knew? Not me!) but when I was checking out, the shopping bag shows $5.99 shipping. Apparently, you have to check out, give them your order and THEN if they have incorrectly charged you, you have to call and ask for a correction. I reached out, asked for shipping to be corrected before I place the order they said "that's not going to happen, so sorry". After 20 years plus as a customer and a Shoppers Club member for many years, I think I am done and suggest that you shop carefully because of the poor attitude and dishonesty. Recommend Kohls, Macy's, Target, Torrid, and there are many others who have honest sales and websites with very nice close for larger women.
I have ordered clothes from here before. Some have been good, some are so cheap they break/fall apart within a month. The worst I had was a bathing suit that bled the dye all over me and anything it touched. I have written 2 reviews about the bathing suit and neither have been published. They will not take it back since it's been over 90 days (I bought it months before my vacation). Also, their customer service has not responded to any emails. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this site but will NEVER use them again.
Please do not buy from this company. I ordered a suit and it cost 111.00 including post taxes etc. for delivery to Ireland. It was such poor quality you probably would not be able to use it to wash the flor. I sent it back and they only refunded €67.OO. I sent emails to know why but I got no response. It was an expensive lesson but this company is the worst I have ever come across.
Although I liked 2 of the items I purchased, I had to return 2 of them. This is where my problems began. It has been 3 weeks since I mailed my items back and I have yet to receive a refund. I called the customer service number and they said It would still be 7 more days. I asked for an email confirmation that my return has been received and they said "NO" they don't send emails. I would absolutely steer clear of this company and anyone affiliated with them. If I could give them a lower score than 1 I would.
I've shopped Woman Within for years without incident. Now, I believe, since the parent company went bankrupt & OSP is now in charge, they are having plenty of issues. I ordered almost 3 weeks ago with only a snooty response saying its in process, after waiting 30 minutes on the phone. Really disappointing they've gone downhill so fast. I have doubts I'll ever see my order.
Whether it is onestopplus, Roamans, women with they're all the same… they send out email showing discounts (especially now during the holiday) no coupon needed, put item in cart, then 2nd item is chosen with discount. But item comes up different price. It shows the price that is discounted under item, then it shows
a different price in column where you pay. Called Customer service and must have gotten 5 different reason for the problem. Just stop offering discounts if you're not going to honor them. This happens all the time, terrible way to run a company. I will not order when I feel I'm being lied too… Hmmm "Bait and Switch"
Website issues: Order Status does not work. Need the order# from email even though I am a registered user. Can't access previous orders like Amazon and get all at one time... need order# for each. No indication on package insert of items not returnable because of clearance. Who can remember what it said when you ordered weeks before you got it! If you do return something, they don't refund you, don't tell you, and give it away (read fine print). (You know they resell it and get cost + shipping from another fool.) When you put something on wish list it isn't taken off order form... beware.
I returned/exchanged something and promo code, shipping and price was supposed to be honored. I was charged a new higher price and more shipping!
Placed an order in January and received part of it three weeks later. Part of the order never shipped. Returned two items for credit on February 1st. It is now the 3rd week in March and I have not received my money back or a shopping gift card as promised. I talked to someone after calling numerous times and was told that I would get my return within 24 hour. But I never did. I will never shop with them again
Used to be a good site but it seems they are on the verge of collapse. Customer Service unresponsive via phone (on hold for over 40 mins. As of this moment), or their online chat/email order inquiry. I think they may be in the process of going out of business. I ordered on April 3rd and order is still pending. I froze my credit so they won't get paid. I would recommend DO NOT ORDER. You cannot get a response from them and if you look everybody is having problems with them. Not even a 1 star but zero star is not a choice.
Ordered a robe that was 50% off along with two other items. Website claimed item was in stock. Confirmation e-mail the same. My other two items shipped a few days later, but email stated robe "back ordered" with no ETA. A month later, after no communication, I emailed requesting status. Received a response that "all it says is any day now." Not very friendly or helpful. A week later, I get a form letter stating item no longer available and order canceled. No offer to get a similar item for same price, nothing... very poor customer service. Will not use again.
Ordered a pair of shorts. Size on the outside of the package says "30", size on the tag says "20". Immediately returned them. Three months later, they return them to us marked "Damaged". They were never worn! I called customer service, they said they received them over a month after we returned them. They also kept saying "we can't do anything". When I said "stop saying can't. You can, but won't" They hung up on me.
Took over 1 month to get a order to leave the warehouse. Not to be discouraged, I tried again. One order on May 6 and another on May 8. As of May 20 NEITHER of them have left the warehouse. Lots of apologies but that just doesn't cut it. 3 times a charm for me. Will NEVER order from them again.
Tried to call for 4 days. Wait time over 1 hour. 2 Disconnnects in the attempts. I'm a pretty tolerant person so it takes a lot to sour me on a company. But, this one did it. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Ordered button down items because I was having breast cancer surgery. About a week before surgery I called to be told my shipment has been sent out. Only one item arrived. Now it is a week after surgery and I still do not have the order. Waited 45 minutes on the phone to be told it shipped, but it has been in GA since 4/9 and they refused to track the package and see where it is. They said I have to wait. I will never order from these thieves again. Pure liars and cheats. Calling my bank to get my money back.
WORST customer service! I placed an order recently. I still have no idea where it is. I received an email confirmation from a vendor, saying that my items had shipped. Then, and only after I personally inquired about the shipment, did the vendor tell me that one of my items was no longer available. Supposedly, this has been credited to my credit card, but I have yet to see ANY refud on there, despite never having received the item. I will NEVER order from this website again!
Answer: Long wait on the phone to talk to someone. They said about 10 minutes it was 37 minutes.
Answer: Nobody read my review? They cancelled my order and then gave me part of it. Their reason for not sending the rest? They said I gave e them the wrong address! So how did the partial order get to me? The review goes on. It is titled "They will be never get my money again"
