I exactly followed the instructions given by OS, using the lower time given (50 *******@350*F). ALL of the seasoned liquid filling (didn't taste like traditionally used butter...and who knows what it is?) drained out onto the pan while baking. The chicken was stunningly tougher than any chicken I have eaten in my life. And the crust was hard as a rock and WAY too thick. Trust me, and steer clear of this horrible item! Completely and utterly unappetizing!
First and last order for me from Omaha Steaks. Chicken Cordon Bleu is NOT as pictured on their website! These things have a full 1/2 inch of heavy breading all around--fully half the entire weight of the item, and with less than 2-3oz of chicken and almost zero ham inside. What a ripoff!

I never had any problems with the quality of the product, but I seem to have issues when I order the product. I submit my order and a few times I got a email telling my order was not completed and I have to start all over again.

My daughter and her husband loved the gift. It was greatly appreciated. They didn't have time to grocery shop when they did move into their new home. So they could easily put the food on the grill. Last I heard the burger patties were amazing.

We've used Omaha Steaks for years. It's a good gift for people who are hard to buy for, because everybody eats. People also like the thrill of getting the box on the doorstep (which makes a good cooler for the beach or camping), and discovering the treasures inside. I wish they gave volume discounts as they did years ago (that is, the price per ounce drops when you buy a higher quantity).

The shipment y was to be delivered on a Thursday or Friday. When it didn't arrive, I called and was told recipients weren't home. They WERE and were waiting for the delivery. While understood, since it was bad weather, the recipients should not have been blamed. It wasn't until I asked about if meat was going to be kept frozen that I was told they would resend. Everything ended okay but I think it should have been communicated better.

My last order arrived with no dry ice left resulting in some of the items (not all) thawed. That said, overall, I very satisfied with the quality of the meats. Especially the Private Reserve filets.

I spent about $600 with them, but never again! It took at least 10 calls from me and more than 30 days for Omaha Steaks to identify the cause of their repeated shipping delays... a problem processing the payment, which they NEVER contacted me about! Just automated emails bumping out the delivery date again and again and again! They took no ownership of their mistake and could give a d@%& about trying to satisfy/keep their customers. Don't waste your money or, more importantly, your time with this company.
I like the variety, quality, and convenience of the products. I only purchase when there is a sale on items that I want and when I have points and/or discount cards. Even with the sale, however, the prices are still a bit high. I rationalize by comparing the prices to what I would pay for the same item at a restaurant, and that helps me justify my purchases.

There was not enough detail given about the Argentinian shrimp. The taste of the shrimp was definitely not what I was expecting. And there should have been some indication that they were much different from Gulf shrimp. Let me be clear: We love Omaha Steaks products. I having been buying from Allen Brothers for over twenty years. In the last year or so the quality has declined, despite the extremely high prices for USDA Prime. They use UPS for delivery. On two or three occasions, the meat was on the non air conditioned truck in very high heat for up to twelve hours ( and who knows how much longer in the UPS a facility) and arrived with much of it defrosted, with a $27.99 delivery charge!
My experience, so far with Omaha has been excellent accept trying to figure out how to apply my rewards points. I sent an email to their customer service.

We always get the Beef pot roast on special and shrimp. They haven't been very good. The beef was half fat, which it never has been before. The shrimp was really salty. My husband mentioned it first and it must be if he said something. For me it was almost unbearable to eat. I'm very disappointed with this place now.

To me the quality of the beef is much better than the beef you get in the local stores. Yes it cost more but you get what you pay for. I don't eat pork so I don't know. Can't wait to try the chicken and fish selections.

Overall Omaha Steaks has an excellent product and we have ordered from them many times in the last 2 years. The only issue that we've had is with the delivery of the order. The last order came in two separate containers and one arrived on Saturday and the other didn't arrive until the following Tuesday. All of the items had thawed out and could not be used, but a refund was issued for that 2nd container.

Answer: A rep once told me verbally, then via email that a refund would be issued. A week or so later, nothing. I messaged customer service to inquire on the status of the refund and was told some correction would be made and the refund would be issued. Another week or two and still no refund to my account, however that same rep had sent me a follow up stating the funds would be in my account in there to five business days. Three to five business days later, still nothing but I waited an extra two or three days but still nothing. After some effort and back and forth and early morning phone calls I got through. At that time, if memory serves me correctly, the refund was issued and back to the card the order was placed from as well as additional golden biscuit or two, again, IF memory serves me correctly. One thing for sure, it took a lot of time, effort and waiting for that refund, but I eventually received it. I imagine you have to take into consideration that those online businesses get their share of dishonest squirrels exploiting the situation. It's always best to be as honest as you reasonably, honestly can be as one's sincerity often just naturally reveals itself or its opposite such as when unscrupulous people are up to shenanigans anyone can do without. I think they can usually tell, but it can take some doing on their part too.
