I've since subscribed to Omaha steaks after trying some of their steak cuts. Last two orders were straight up burgers and franks. Taste great, are easy to cook and make for a classic meal any day of the week.
We ordered from Omaha Steaks as a gift to our daughter's family. They loved the present and said the quality was excellent. Just one problem: While I am fine receiving occasional promo emails, I am now inundated with emails all day long, every day! Way too much!

I ordered steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers for a family gathering as a gift to the hostess. All the meats were good sized and delicious - it was the perfect gift and an easy meal for the hosts to cook and serve.

I having been buying from Allen Brothers for over twenty years. In the last year or so the quality has declined, despite the extremely high prices for USDA Prime. They use UPS for delivery. On two or three occasions, the meat was on the non air conditioned truck in very high heat for up to twelve hours ( and who knows how much longer in the UPS a facility) and arrived with much of it defrosted, with a $27.99 delivery charge!
My experience, so far with Omaha has been excellent accept trying to figure out how to apply my rewards points. I sent an email to their customer service.

I would recommend that you avoid Omaha steaks at all cost. I had a delivery that was due to arrive to my home this Saturday before Christmas. Not only did the package not arrive with my Christmas dinner, roast shrimp, and ham when I contacted the company they could provide no information as to where the package was in process only that maybe it would come Monday. It came Monday missing my roast, so there was no prime rib roast in the package at all. My shrimp and ham were packed without dry ice so they were hot and spoiled. I spent two hours trying to reach customer service agent to get the situation resolved ended up having to go to a local grocery store on Christmas Eve to purchase the items that I needed and almost twice the cost not to mention the time and inconvenience of leaving my family at home to visit and enjoy themselves while I've battled the crowds in the grocery store. Again, I would avoid Omaha steaks at all cost. They are not a reputable company. They do not have a good customer service department. I finally got a refund issued after Christmas and after over three hours total time spent on the phone trying to reach someone to process the refund. Run from them like they have the plague they are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I ordered our main course and desserts from Omaha to be delivered on 11/27/2024 the day prior to holiday. I paid extra for expedited delivery but I felt I should confirm the delivery, when I called I was told no delivery on the 27th but it would be delivered on Dec. 3rd a week after Thanksgiving. I heard nothing from Omaha about the change in dates and if I had not called I would have been expecting my order the day before Thanksgiving and I would have received nothing. I was livid that a company of this size did not email or call or make any attempt to fix their mistake and let us know we would not be receiving our order. I will not trust them again and will give future orders to Kansas City Steaks or Chicago Steaks.
I received a $89 coupon in the Clipper Magazine from Omaha Steaks. I called to place 2 orders as a gift. The representative said if I become a member and place a $79.99 order, all shipping would be free plus I'd receive a free gift with each order. I placed 2 orders for $89.99 plus tax. I later discovered that I was still charged $19.99 shipping after joining. So, I called the company. After complaining, the shipping was dropped. I placed a 3rd order for $79.97. I was charged shipping and no free gift. I was told that my order was 2 cents short, so I was not eligible for free shippingnor free gift. I requested that the company cancel my membership and reimburse my fee. A week later I had not been reimbursed so again, I called Omaha Steak and was told that I would not be reimbursed my membership fee of $39.99. The manager told me, "we can't do that, just don't renew it next year." The steaks, salmon and chicken were extremely small for the price. Totally Displeased! The negative attitude of management made the frustrating situation worse. I will not be making another purchase from Omaha Steaks. I have found a better deal at my local Detwiler's Farm Market.
I order steaks for my son for his birthday and Xmas. After I ordered, I found out he would not be in town the date of his delivery. I called and asked the delivery to be delayed. One phone call and was told they would change it. The next day, they gave me follow up call to say it was done. For years I have been ordering from Omaha. Each and every time it is a pleasure to deal with those on the phone.

This is my 2 time in signing up. With the subscription plans.Yes some items can be pricey, but use your coupons, and it is cheaper for me than driving out to the store, here you get good quality products, as with the store half the time,, you can't get what you want. And poor quality, and meat that is full of fat, and grissle.

We ordered again after a few years. Everything was great as expected except the jumbo franks have no flavor compared to Nathans or Hebrew National. Unfortunately most of the combo orders include the franks.

My order's delivery was delayed, without adequate notice by the shipper, by 24 hours in some very hot days. When I opened the container from Omaha Steaks, the dry ice was gone and the meat had thawed. I called to explain the situation and a friendly sales associate listened to my complaint, and immediately issued a refund and advised me to dispose of the steaks and burgers ordered, just in case. The refund posted the next day.

Nver compare Omaha prices with supermarket prices. Sure, they will be more expensive, but the difference is like night and day. When it comes to steaks, buy quality.

So far, I've had a couple of orders. The quality is great. My only complaint is getting multiple e-mails daily. Once a week is plenty. I'm a single man and it takes me several weeks to eat all the food that comes in each order.

We initially were gifted with an Omaha Steaks assortment by my sister-in-law, and were quite impressed with the quality of your offerings...not only steaks, but pork, frankfurters, chicken and even those incredibly delectable Caramel Apple Tartlets! We've since ordered another package of Omaha Steaks goodies, and intend to order more as our supplies run out. Keep up the good work!

I am always sure that my Omaha Steak food will be top quality and butcher shop fresh. I've never been disappointed with the products, and I suspect they are even safer than local store-bought meats. They are vacuum sealed and hard frozen, with no thaw in transport. They go straight into my deep freezer and only thaw out for mealtime. I'm a junkie for their classic blend seasoning too. I like it on meat and veggies.

Both ice chests had 2 dry ice packs, with plenty of ice remaining. So, all items were frozen solid, except for one artisan flatbread that was a little soft in the middle. Not a problem, though. This experience was far superior to my last experience I reviewed about several items not frozen solid, but still cold, especially the marinated salmon fillets which were soft &, thus concerning. That last order had only one dry ice pack, & it was completely depleted. Hope you continue using at least 2 packs per ice chest like this order. Thank you.

Answer: A rep once told me verbally, then via email that a refund would be issued. A week or so later, nothing. I messaged customer service to inquire on the status of the refund and was told some correction would be made and the refund would be issued. Another week or two and still no refund to my account, however that same rep had sent me a follow up stating the funds would be in my account in there to five business days. Three to five business days later, still nothing but I waited an extra two or three days but still nothing. After some effort and back and forth and early morning phone calls I got through. At that time, if memory serves me correctly, the refund was issued and back to the card the order was placed from as well as additional golden biscuit or two, again, IF memory serves me correctly. One thing for sure, it took a lot of time, effort and waiting for that refund, but I eventually received it. I imagine you have to take into consideration that those online businesses get their share of dishonest squirrels exploiting the situation. It's always best to be as honest as you reasonably, honestly can be as one's sincerity often just naturally reveals itself or its opposite such as when unscrupulous people are up to shenanigans anyone can do without. I think they can usually tell, but it can take some doing on their part too.
