I've subscribed to Butcher Box for years and tried Omaha Steaks for as a Christmas gift. I will NEVER go back to Butcher Box! The quality is even better, plus the packages don't leak or anything. These easy-open packages are FANTASTIC! My husband and I LOVE the bacon wrapped filet mignons!

The quality of the Omaha Steaks meat is far more superior than the grocery store. The taste, texture and tenderness outweighs all others.

The website was easy to maneuver and there was lots of fantastic options to purchase. The food arrived on schedule and still frozen. I was concerned about the temperature but everything was perfect. Everything thing we purchased was fabulous. I will purchase again.

The beef shepherd's pie was tasty but the whole thing turned to mush after baking. The mashed potatoes melted and everything needed to be eaten with a spoon. Again, tasty but not what I expected. Stick to what you do best.

I have put in three orders and the first one was delayed but it was near Christmas so I thought that was probably normal. Second order was in the summer when it was hot and they left the order on the truck when the freezer went out so they put in a new order but then delayed the shipping a second time but would not tell me why. Orders are only on freezer trucks while on an Omaha truck. Once the order is transferred to UPS or FedEx, it is NOT on any kind of cooler truck and your meat is just out in a styrofoam cooler. Third order was in January and it was delayed, then they duplicated it, cancelled the duplication and then delayed again. I just cancelled the order. Not worth the hassle.

I have received other perishable items where attention to detail was, in my opinion, overlooked. There are virtually always some unforseeable disasters lurking in the transportive mode. No disaster was part of my shipping process. Thank you! Preparation of these "hanger" steaks was as I anticipated. Other folks' may vary depending on what they like in terms of their cooking style but, after the first bite, the tenderness and juiciness were so robust, it passes all of my critical tests. Answer: A rep once told me verbally, then via email that a refund would be issued. A week or so later, nothing. I messaged customer service to inquire on the status of the refund and was told some correction would be made and the refund would be issued. Another week or two and still no refund to my account, however that same rep had sent me a follow up stating the funds would be in my account in there to five business days. Three to five business days later, still nothing but I waited an extra two or three days but still nothing. After some effort and back and forth and early morning phone calls I got through. At that time, if memory serves me correctly, the refund was issued and back to the card the order was placed from as well as additional golden biscuit or two, again, IF memory serves me correctly. One thing for sure, it took a lot of time, effort and waiting for that refund, but I eventually received it. I imagine you have to take into consideration that those online businesses get their share of dishonest squirrels exploiting the situation. It's always best to be as honest as you reasonably, honestly can be as one's sincerity often just naturally reveals itself or its opposite such as when unscrupulous people are up to shenanigans anyone can do without. I think they can usually tell, but it can take some doing on their part too.
