Buyer BEWARE update...
November 26, 2021

I review this company back on November 26 last year. After the post I get a phone call from Old Trading Post Western Store telling me my order would be shipped out in 2 weeks. Well 2 weeks have come and gone and no holster. After taking the time out to call me you think you would keep your word if someone is giving you another chance. Anyway watch out for people taking advantage of you...

Old Trading Post did a Lone Ranger rig for me. Looks just like Clayton Moore's. Mike was a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again.

Ordered a Gun Belt and Holster in January 2021 and it is now October 2021... They do not respond to emails or phones calls... The Cali. Address is BS... My Lawyer sent them mail and it came back? They clearly do not care. I was charged $357.00 and received nothing!
Update... The day after I posted this Review the folks at the Old Trading Post sent me an Email link to contact them. The Email was headed with "Help Us Help You"... So far no other contact and NO Help! Help!

I ordered a set of antler revolver grips and paid by credit card through the company website. Old Trading Post charged my credit card that day. One week later, I emailed to ask what the expected time to delivery for the grips would be. I received no reply. After a second week, I sent an email cancelling my order and requesting refund of my payment. They did not refund nor did they reply. After six weeks, I opened a credit card dispute through my bank. The company apparently didn't respond to my bank's request for information. I expect I will eventually be refunded. I am not new to ordering these kinds of goods, and honest and orderly businesses can give reliable estimates for shipping dates, even during COVID times.
Somehow, Old Trading Post can't meet that standard.

Do not let the negative reviews stop you from buying here, i will be honest and it took a little longer then i expected bt that was a vendor issue not Trading Posts during that time Mike kept informed even making personal phone calls to let me everything that was going on, fantastic service highly recommend thanks again Mike and family Great service Graham

Leather Braces.

I purchased leather suspenders. They were advertised as being genuine Leather, 1 1/2" wide, 1822 style Thurston braces. They did arrive and were 1" wide, very poorly made and split after 3 days of wearing them. They were skived at the end to paper thickness. They actually tore thru at the rivets. On inspection they are not made out of leather but some type of composite materiel. I did a burn test and it supported a flame, something leather does not do. I ask them to replace the item no response from them.
I now know what they mean on there web site, "Anything for a buck." By the way I am in Australia so it does not matter to them to make amends. The reviews I read I do not hold out much hope it is a sham company. Do not trade with them if you do not want to be ripped off.

Just add me to the ever increasing number of suckers that attempted to purchase from this company. No point in elucidating on redundancy. Ordered an item for $ 200.00. Never received it. Refused to refund; no longer responds. Caveat Emptor! Do not buy from this scammer!

Very pleased

I see a lot of negative reviews, but my experience was very good. Mike kept me informed and it might have taken longer than normal... these are not normal times, especially when you rely on outsourced products. Give your self time, and you will be happy with the wait!

Don't buy from here

Purchased from here in January it's April and I haven't received my purchase. I have called and emailed several times. Mike answered first email said they were working on it. After that he won't answer email or phone calls.Not happy with the customer service or business. Would not recommend doing business with them.

The absolute WORST customer service experience I've ever experienced. Placed (AND PAID) for my order in November 2020 and still (as of March 4,2021) no delivery, no return call, email, refund, etc. CROOKS... plain & simple.

Please friends, if you value your money, don't, I mean DON'T order from this company! I ordered from them 8 months ago, after probably 7-10 emails trying to get ahold of someone to see how my shipment was coming, most of which were ignored, I finally received the WRONG holster... (they promised 6-8 weeks at the beginning, and then two or three more times promised completely false time frames) Unfortunately I called them just to ask about sizing originally, and he was very curt on the phone, and in every other email I received I was either ignored or lied to. Anyways, I would give this a negative star review if it existed. Still hoping maybe he'll send the correct holster? Let's hope so!
On a side note, the holster I did receive was awesome, so no complaints on quality, it's a beautiful holster!

And they never answer calls or their cell phone, which is *******184 (Mike) You can't expect to live in the age of the internet and not expect people to get angry when their hard earned money is taken and nothing is received in return. Whoever these people are, they're terrible at running a business and wonderful at running it into the ground. Purchased a pair gloves last year in 2020 and they've never materialized thus far.

I ordered my hulster in July. It's almost new years. I've called several times with no response. I do beleave it's time to call my layer...
These people are terrible and I'm beyond bummed. I will be filing with the better business Bureau and making a formal complaint

Absolutely TERRIBLE business. Months and months passed by since they took my money for my order and I had never received an update or product. I tried contacting for weeks and couldn't get an email response or phone response. Voicemail was full and no one ever picked up the phone. With the help of someone else, I was able to reach the owner after months of trying. Was finally able to cancel my order and listen to him spew lie after lie. Absolutely horrendous...

Poor Customer Service

I purchased a holster online with a 8 week delivery schedule. Going on 3 1/2 months and still nothing. I have emailed no response. I have tried to call with a "voicemail is full" message. I finally had to get charges reversed from my bank.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
