Do not believe anything about your online purchase! They lie about shipping dates to try and compete with Prime. I had to threaten to reverse charges on an order to get it cancelled.
I've been lied to for the past 3 weeks about a order that was supposed to have shipped. Now getting run around about a replacement order. Honor your pricing and stop lying to your customer.
Jan 12,2024 I met witha store manager at 2 pm. He advised me to order a MicroSoft Surface Pro 9 which he ordered for me. I spefically told him that I need a celluar sim card slot. When I got the computer delivered on Wednesday Jan 17 at 7 pm. I noticed it did not have a celluar sim card slot. Thursday Jan 18, I brought back the computer and met with the same store manager. He gave me *******768 to have Office Depot pick it up as he can not take back my computer and refund my money. I told him that he used a cash register to charge me for this computer. He said that I will get my money back once they picked up my computer. I call that 800 number. They told me that i have to get an approval to return it which takes 48 hours for an approval. I didn't get an approval until Tues Jan 23. They told me that they will pick it up on Wed Jan 24 between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. I told them that I won't be home as I have several appointment out of town and asked them to pick it up today Jan 26. Again they told me that they will between 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. It is now 3:15 pm and no one has been to my house to pick this computer up. I called back the 800 number and been on hold for 45 minutes. I am affraid that I will never get my money back.
The ODS online printing is significantly cheaper when it works BUT certainly not worth the 2 hours of trying to get it sent to the local store. This is the 2nd time (and the last time) I've had a nightmare of order not going through. When you call for assistance, there are limited English speakers only and no supervisor or ability to route calls to the US. The in store folks at Office Depot, Hull St, Midlothian VA are fantastic but their hands are tied when trying to work with ODS.
We live high up in the mountains we ordered a printer from these people to pick up curbside we were headed there to go pick it up and I just something told me to call them and I found out that they didn't even have the damn printer so 2 hours down there 2 hours back a waste of our day so we ordered it online instead we're sitting here waiting for our order to be delivered today or tomorrow and we just now get an email saying it's canceled call the customer service at 1-800 go Depot we did it's all automated you can't get anybody I did a live chat and every time I ask somebody why it was canceled everybody goes away nobody can answer my question so now we can't meet our deadline because we don't have our printer and this is twice now with these people I say go Staples f*** office Depot
Under a time crunch and emotional duress, I was forced to create and order funeral programs for my father's funeral, the night before his service. The website stated 'ready by 7pm the next day' but I needed them by noon. I also needed them folded and another product of memory cards trimmed to same size (there were 2 per sheet). I had to just trust it would be done well, as there would be no time to re-do. The next morning I called the store at 10 am and print desk said she had them printed and ready to go. Upon pick up, it was clear she had taken time to do everything I needed (even though I had not specified as much in the online order notes). She had folded the programs and not just trimmed the cards, but trimmed them to all be the same size so they looked nice in a stack. It might have been normal operating procedure for them, I don't know, but her act of having them done first thing and making sure they were printed correctly, folded as needed, and trimmed to size, was the last thing I experienced before preparing and attending my father's funeral service. This REALLY did make a big difference and I will be letting her bosses at the store know.

After researching a good home office chair, I decided to purchase the chair through OfficeDepot.com. When I received it, the box was damaged in shipping and I could see that the product inside was damaged without even opening up the box. I contacted Office Depot to get the damaged chair returned and a replacement sent. Contacting them was through text as that seemed to be the suggested process. It took a few days and texting with several different people to make any progress. Thought I had them scheduled to pick it up and a replacement on the way but days later found out that the chair would have to be received back at the warehouse before they could send out a replacement. I didn't figure this out until I finally got ahold of someone to speak with. I ordered (and paid for) a second chair so that I could get the process going and not wait for them to pick up my damaged chair, ship it back to the warehouse, and then receive it before they could send another chair out. It is now two weeks since they picked up my chair and I am struggling to receive my refund. The chair is completely in their control as they scheduled the pick up with their carrier but still won't refund my money. This process and service makes NO sense from a customer's (my) perspective. To me, it just feels like I gave them $578 to ship me a damaged chair and then come pick it back up but hold on to my money... for their fault. It has now been over a month since I ordered and paid for the chair. As of this writing, I'm on-hold with Office Depot and struggling to get my refund. Another hour of my time wasted tonight. Very frustrating!
I will never ship their online website. I am waiting f now over a week for a refund. If I could give them a zero I would. Office Depot you have lost any further business
They deliver things on time, their products are as promised, and I've never had to return anything. They are a great company to do online business with.

I have been shopping with office depot for years I mean 20 years. Today I experienced the worst customer service and the worst service render. I'm looking to get something printed and laminated and on the website it has no ways to upload and easy to do so or start an order and, when I had to reach out to a text message corporate to make it happen they gave me the email address to store #2191, great I got some kind of connection and then, when I emailed them they gave me a link. How do businesses rely on so many steps when you are just trying to get a print and laminate of two pages. I got an email that stated there were some questions and to call. So I called and the person on the phone was extremely rude and said he was not going to do the order because they don't do email orders. (yet you have no way to upload an order unless you have a masters) I'm a simple customer that just wants a print job done. Every time I go into a Office Max/Office Depot there dead. Maybe focus on your customers, It might give UPS or Staples there run for their money. Save your time and money and stop shopping here,
I get my bulk paper computer supplies here because they are the cheapest; as well as they have a great supply of school supplies at pennies on the dollar right before fall school starts.
Went to site on DAY BEFORE Cyber Monday, put item in cart, went to computer-savvy friend's house, he approved, went back onsite--they had raised the price 6%. They had "a limited supply" at Cyber Monday prices... So limited they ran out 8 hours BEFORE Monday. BAIT AND SWITCH!
OFFICE DEPOT DOES NOT DELIVER YOU FURNITURE. THE DRIVER COMPLAINED THAT THE DESK WAS TO HEAVY TO BE DELIVERED!

I have ordered many different, inks, photo paper etc on line from them and have been pleasantly surprised that every purchase was on time and correct.
This has been a miserable experience for me. In my seventy two years I have never experienced such terrible customer service. Office Depot should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. I have not been able to speak to anyone, everything has been done through email. It is so much easier for the employees of Office Depot not to have a phone conversation, then they would have to acknowledge they are speaking to another human being that would like to be treated fairly.
I ordered a red oriental console cabinet and I was sent the black cabinet. I am not physically able to get the cabinet in a box to return it. Office Depot will not accept it other than boxed so I have no choice other than to keep it. The only compensation they would give me is $40 to keep the wrong cabinet. The two employees I dealt with should be ashamed that a more reasonable solution could not have been found.
It is disgraceful what they have put me through. My sympathy goes out to other Office Depot customers with problems. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Around March 23,2018 I bought a box of paper from OFFICE DEPOT. They offered a $25 rebate. I asked the clerk specifically if I had to use the rebate at any OFFICE DEPOT / MAX stores and he said "NO" and that I could use it at ANY store or just cash it.
Well today is May 2 and I STILL do not have the rebate so I chatted with them and they said i should have it in 10 days BUT that I would have to use it at their stores ONLY!
Again that is not what I was told originally!
I run a very successful mail order business for the last 44 years and if I operated like this I wouldn't be in business.
So please BEWARE of this store and DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
This place also has good prices especially on ink. You can also find someone to help you. The people are actually fairly nice at the several I've been to.
