I SPENT OVER 90 MINUTES WITH TWO REPS TO PLACE AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE WHEN OAKLEY.COM COULDN'T PROCESS THE ORDER. THEY HAVE NO CLUE ON WHAT THEY ARE DOING, THE FIRST REP PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES THEN THE LINE DROPPED, I CALLED BACK AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Bought a second pair of batwolf shades about 14 months ago. They failed at the hinge on the dogear to no fault of my own. Luxoticca refuses to replace my astronomical purchase price of the custom pair, the second time now. A previous 3rd warranty replacement refusal on some Costas as well some years back. Will never purchase another luxury branded pair of shades that falls under the Luxoticca umbrella again. Been a life long customer of oakley and costa for 17 years. Their quality and customer service is the lowest of the low. I can't put into words how livid and completely unsatisfied with the brand the last 6 or 7 years. I wouldn't wear another pair of oakleys, costas, raybans ect if they paid me to.

Oakley sunglasses
October 9, 2024

I purchased the Oakley Splitshot fishing glasses earlier this year. The left lens developed a defect behind the mirror finish. Oakley had me jump through hoops to start a claim. Then they told me I was out of warranty after 8 months. When I proved I was still in warranty they said the problem was not a defect, even though the store I purchased them said it was defective. Oakley customer service is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

My prescription was submitted along with the frame style Half -Jacket--- I get the complete opposite after a 14 day wait. WHAT a joke. What used to be a storied iconic brand has faded into retail obscurity - a sad tale indeed.

Just past warrantee and I took them to Japan not only did both my flight 1 prizm lenses flake all the mirroring off so did my friends of a different model. Definitely do not buy. I've been told it's called crazing and normal for pallets to do this. They won't replace obviously

Oakley, VR 45 lens

I've had these Oakley sunglasses for about five years. Already the lens orange sunlight coverings are peeling off of the face of of it. I talked to Oakley customer service. They said there's nothing they can do that's normal wear and tear on these glasses. I think it's ridiculous. I've had numerous other glasses, that have lasted many many years had no problem with them Not Oakley,. I would never buy this product again based on the product quality and their backing of their product.

$250 for basically plastic junk. Side piece popped off. Cant get a human on the phone. Automated system hangs up on you if you hit *,# or 0.

To get parts they want you to enter code. There is no code on the pieces of junk.

Lesson learned. Never will buy another oakley product and you dont either. Wish I had had read these review before I got robbed.

Overpriced junk

I am a long time customer of Oakley and have watched their quality continue to drop off. There latest quality is now horrible, yet they keep raising their prices. Unfortunately when you spend top dollar on their products and there is a problem they don't stand behind it. I have received golf shirts with 2 different sized sleeves. My latest Oakley sunglasses has cracks in the lense starting from the nose cutout. The glasses were purchased from the corporate store in irvine and were only worn 3 times. Oakley would not stand behind them.

What happened to oakley

I got This Sale in my email on oakleys, i have a set of holbrook oakleys i like them a lot,so i ordered a new set.when i oppened them up they were super light and cheaper quality than the ones you get at the rest area on the threway,i pulled my old ones out of the truck mine were metal braced with screws, the new ones are junk, i also wanted the purple lens they sent me pic of, i ended up with grey,i also ordered the wire holder to keep them on that was junk too, Do yourself a favor stay Away from this company, my reciept says Luxottica of america DBAOakley Direct JUNK JUNK JUNK

Paid over a $1000 for these glasses. The grommet Came out of the frame that holds the Lens in. They said frame was out of warranty. Got them in June 23. Worst customer service ever. Would not ever buy Oakley again would not recommend it to anyone either. Especially if you are getting prescription glasses. Your best bet would be to buy 2 pairs of cheap glasses compared to one high dollar Oakley that's Cheaper put together than the cheap ones you're going to buy. No stars from me.

Bought two pairs of the same model in different colours. One is perfect, other is bent out of shape. As they are sports glasses with interchangeable lenses, I have removed the lenses and found they they are of an inconsistant size, I have used a micrometer to prove this. It has taken 4 weeks, and around 20 emails to FINALLY get a warranty offer on the faulty pair, and its for different models or different lenses, despite the fact they have almost identical replacements available on their website. I suspect I am being offered want they have surplus of. I would avoid like the plague! Dont waste your money.

I have conceded I have wasted my money, and at least now want to warn others of what they are potentially getting with their hard earnt cash.

Oooo edgie not putting a bend on the arms so cool using silicone rubber of different
colors well your engineers must be on crack the silicone rubber on the Crosslink break down and they want your first born for replacements fees just an over hyped fecal matter and if your Canadian and want to buy the strap for the Crosslink to secure them to your melon you're outta luck the strap has a US DoD restriction...Sorry Oakley I will never buy your crap again just another company that will end up in the Garbage bin of History From The OpticsOrder Update - Product Shipping Restriction

I placed a order through Oakley military.com I am a 22-year army 100% disabled veteran ordered a pair of Jawbreakers was told the price would be $119 with all discounts applied after I place the order I received a email saying that the price is $143 that they cannot apply any discount so I was lied to or misled then the order was supposed to be here within 3 to 5 business days yesterday the order was supposed to be here I called Oakley they said it was delivered I told them b******* I've been waiting all day I did not receive the delivery I said why don't you give me the tracking information they said we do not have it after 20 minutes online I told them I want my money back I get an email stating I got a refund to mail the glasses back had to call back was hung up on called back again told them I never received glasses how could I return them then I get an email today stating I will get new glasses in 100 days what a f****** joke this company is been wearing Oakley's my whole life worst experience I've ever had on top of it it is their military program 22 years in Army Special Operations missing one leg one eye is blind in pain all day long can't walk through the mall very well to get glasses regretting every minute of it told Oakley if I don't get my money back I'm reporting fraud and hiring a lawyer I have multiple fishing emails from Oakley harassing me and I got five different stories from five different people way to take care of the military Oakley you guys are laughable and worst experience I've ever had on Earth in 43 years

Brutal service!

Tried. Calling their 800 number. Must submit a claim email. Ok, do that then some auto bot reply that your claim is denied. They claim model No longer made, I just bought them in April! Three months ago. They offer a special price on new ones that are comparable ok except they're more than I paid for originally, what a joke. I'll never buy a pair of Oakley s again. Horrible service. They don't care at all, take your money and screw you..

Oakley prescription glasses sold through LensCrafters defective and neither will stand behind their crap. I have worn glasses all my life and never had junk like these Oakley lenses. Frames are good but the lenses are junk. This is the second pair that did the exact same thing. As the person at LensCrafters insisted it was a cleaner that did it. I only used their cleaner.

Bought a pair of Oakley Holbrook sunglasses with the Prizm lens. There is some type of extremely thin film or coating over the lenses. I'm guessing this is the Prizm coating. After two days I could see tiny specs through the coating, which got worse over time. Absolute trash. Get glasses with glass lenses.
