So sorry to hear of the denial. I own 5 pair of Oakley sunglasses and just purchased 8 pair as groom gifts for my son's wedding. Doubt I will ever buy or recommend Oakley brand to any of my friends or relatives. Your margin on these glasses is huge. Better customer service and warranty would go a long way to retain existing customers and acquire new ones. See Patagonia warranty. No customer wants to purchase expensive sunglasses only to find restrictive warranty clauses. In fact, I can buy knock off polarized Oakley Sliver sunglasses at any flee market and get just as good quality for $12.

Hi Asif,
Upon evaluation of your claim, we have determined that the issue is not covered under warranty.
Common causes for Out of Warranty Claims:
Issue not due to defective material or workmanship
Missing/invalid proof of purchase
Warranty period expired
Unfortunately, repair of your damaged eyewear is not an option as this model and its replacement parts are no longer available.
Although your claim is not covered under warranty, we appreciate your business and would like to offer comparable options at a discounted rate.
