I thought this site was great... Seems all good - until you make a second account and start receiving the exact same messages from the same people - word for word. It's a total scam. Nobody actually goes there - you'll never actually make a sale. The 'artists' are all poor gullible folk, thinking people are listening to their music...
I feel dirty...
Fake users, they pretend to be real. They don't have any presence in social media, nobody replies, charts are not accessible to anyone, their homepage just invites artists to subscribe, free offers are not free, artist pages are not indexed by Google. It is a total SCAM. Stay away.
At first I was pumped people were saying how they loved my music and it inspired them. Hoping at least some of the comments were true. I made another account after I subscribed for a while that I totally forgot about before I made my main page. I put a really crappy sample with no lyrics and had saw I had a reply of a same fan on my main page saying the exact same comment how my music had great lyrics... But how if it was just a guitar sample that was not even that good. Yeah this website needs to be shut down. Just buttering up musicians to subscribe and take their $
Taxi and that other one. Both have stole money from.
I give them music and they don't even have the respect to give me a review back.
Taxi has once and the other one, i forget its name right now.
They took atlas three submissions.
And the last two was no response at all.
Here atleaaset i get fans who tell me how much my music.
Why would they scam me when they are not getting any money from me
We have helped many singers to develop their skills, we have promoted hundreds of local and national artists. Latino Music Promotions is a group of artists who join our offers page. We give ourselves to the task of promoting your songs, videos, biographies, photos and events all over the world using our media, radio, internet, and social clubs.
I was on Amy Street and they basically did the same thing but some of it was legit. Numberonemusic is stroking your ego to make you buy worthless promotions. But this is suppose to be for fun anyways, so I just take what is free and hope somebody actually likes what I have done but I would never spend a dime with them!
Total rip-off, Russian site... they'll send you adoring fake fans that dont make any sense, and your suspicion grows when they want you to "upgrade", i. E., spend your money somewhere else, do not spend it here. Scamming $#*!s.
Got ripped of with my previous band from this scam website. Many flattering messages from fake-accounts and/or robots to make us pay money for a diamond membership (or what it was called back then in 2011). Got the #1 spot in metal way ahead bands like In Flames and Iron Maiden. But in the reality: really nothing. No one hangs out on this page listening to music. Money spended are equal to money wasted.
Luckily we only payed about $99 or something like that. But still, money we could have spent on something more than fake messages and fake ranking lists
I just received an email from them letting me know someone wanted to buy my album. The album in question, was released 10 years ago. And is under a different name than mine. I'm actually concerned as to how they were able to contact me. From what I've seen, it's a bunch of bull. And will do nothing for your career. Being a musician in this era, is not easy. Unfortunately, a TON of people know that. And will do whatever it takes to scam you and make you believe you're being listened to. When you really aren't. I'm sorry if that's painful. Trust me. I feel it. But it's the truth. Get your music out there the right away. ITunes, play live shows, get back to the roots of this form of artistry, etc. I hope you all achieve your goals. I hope I achieve mine. But this platform is not the way to do that. It's a stain on our community. And on us, as musicians. Take care.

A complete and utter scam. Do not waste your cash to upgrade from free membership. Your "followers" are spam bots. Your rankings and plays are fictitious, and the whole site is based on massaging a musician's ego into believing their crap to wring out your wallet. I would also suspect that the positive and glowing reviews on here are orchestrated by N1M too. No-one sane would believe this garbage. I had over 50,000 plays and 500 followers as a free member for a year - but not a single paid play, download or purchase of my music from any of the online outlets, in spite of being in the top ten numerous times. It is complete horse manure. Do not believe the hype and do not part with any cash.
I have been using the service for eight months & in the beginning I thought similarly, but that is when I had a free account. When you purchase a monthly program just like the other platforms this site does everything I expected it to do. I get analytics on my songs and it helps me decide What goes my set list for live show. Every third party platform has its quirks! So I made my own ha ha! www.iAndroid.live
Notice that your name is never mentioned, or rarely mentioned in these bogus messages. They are all geared to get you to upgrade services. You do not need NumberOneMusic.com.
I have my entire catalog on Numberonemusic
I think they helping anyone whom music speaks for itself.
I really hope they start creating Really great authentic artwork making it easier to drop music
Do not use this platform. I just paid 215.00 for the diamond. And now these $#*! whole suspended my account for some rommend was not on my fb page. They need to fix they fking $#*!. Like i wrote them requesting my funds.bs... mf. They will steal your money... dont deserve a rank..
This site sent me a fake/spam message (I don't know where they got my details from) saying that an "influencer" wanted to use my music in a playlist. Upon clicking the link to "connect" with the influencer it takes you to a blank message page. Then when trying to click around the site to find out what it is all about it forces to an "upload or connect" pop up. This is the worst thing I have ever seen. Whoever is behind this scammy site should be ashamed of themselves. These kind of marketing tactics must be illegal in most countries. I never signed up to this site, I don't want anything to do with this site.
Number One Music is another music site for unsigned artist to post their work for promo and exposure to the masses. Only problem is the world and masses are robots! You get fake subscribers, fake comments, fake reviews. I do like messing with the support robot I've got him so F'd up he dosn't know what to say anymore, so for that reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. Fortunately I am in the top 20 in the world for psychedelic alternative rock but it's only a robot world.
Beware, this site is built to strip you of your music and your rights. Seriously cannot stress enough how fake and fraudulent this "service" is. Nobody in the real music industry has ever heard of them, for obvious reasons.
I receive the fake messeges every day, on from ppl on buying my albums. When I send a link do purchase site, it never increase my album sell. This is a fake robot site. Stay away, or maybe you want put your ego up.
Like practically all music streams N1M is run by robots. I was naive and stupid enough to submit my music over and over again... again: like with all these sites, you submit stuff, reach a ( virtual) goal and than: "get premium to get more exposure". Meanwhile the exposure that you received before premium request is generated by robots.
Luckily I didn't invest money, however I invested a great deal of time.
If you have the illusion that robots will give your music career a boost. THINK AGAIN
I joined and my 3 free songs kept going into top ten as high as # 3 every time i got into top ten it would totally disappear so i wrote to them and asked if only paid accounts got to stay in top ten and they banned me from site glad i did not pay for gold when i wrote to them to ask why they totally ignored me and did not reply in any manor they are a ripoff company do not use this site you can meet other artists but don't do anything that is not free.
Try reverb nation or somewhere else
Answer: Because it's true, they're not a legitimate site. I'm experiencing the same things these people are! Now I don't feel so bad about what they did to me! I don't have time to tell you everything I experienced, but, for one thing, I tried to change my e-mail address to a more convenient address, then suddenly, my site completely disappears! I'm sure hoping they aren't trying to steal my authorships to my songs. They wouldn't get very far with my songs anyway. I have them copyrighted in my name in the Library of Congress. I can get an attorney if I see this happening.
