I had a eight inch cap on the pipe, but, wanted a wider one. The one I received was just a fraction off and started raining so I wasn't able to make a cut on pipe to fit new one. Guess in spring time I'll get this project done.

I emailed customer service to CONFIRM that only the rear rail was supported by a leg as was pictured in the product image, and that no leg was on the front rail; the returned answer was, yes, that's correct; I specifically desired NO leg on the front rail due to an ash dump access issue; the grate arrived with TWO legs, one back, one front. I don't particularly like that the short sides have no "lip" on them to keep the longer sections of wood from dropping down onto the firebox floor. Please look into fabricating the full Vestel 400 Series again. That series grate (29.5 x 27.5 x 14.75 with 5" feet on four corners) worked perfectly for 57 years and I may look into sistering the cracks together. However, only two sizes larger are available. So, I've found an inexpensive replacement that will do until I get my original repaired.
