These pants fit big order a size smaller.If you need to return the process is brutal and crazy expensive. It took 3 weeks to receive after ordering with very few updates. We purchased because they are Canadian everything is made in China.

Product is fantastic quality that exceeded my expectations in both fit and style. Packaging was top drawer with an eco-friendly bag material made from plants. I would have given 5 stars in this review, but Canada Post tracking was nonexistent and took much longer than anticipated. Northbound Gear's products are also made in China according to my query.

Both jacket and pants are meeting my needs and what I was looking for lite hunting gears. Even tried them under cold raining shower… although no peace of garments are completely waterproof, these proof that they can sustain either light shower for a longer time or extreme pouring shower until you can reach a dryer spot. Yes, I recommend!

Love the products. Ordered a pair of the adventure pants. Incredibly warm and cozy and comfortable. Promptly ordered about another three or four pairs (still waiting on the summer pants so not sure of their quality/comfort yet) and the jacket and am pretty much in them all the time.

Only complaint is the web site hangs up some times at the check out page when signed in. Click the buy now button and the circle spins and doesn't advance- so have to check out as a guest. And delivery takes a bit longer than preferred. Don't expect to get them in a couple of days- seems to take about 4-5 weeks as they're coming direct from China.

But all that being said- worth the hang ups and slow delivery. Took the dogs for hikes in the snow and was perfectly warm. Absolutely recommend them.

Could have gone a size up to fit a thicker pullover under,but good incentive for me to get some exercise!
Could do with pen pockets maybe as I will be wearing when working.

Be prepared for a little wait on delivery if in Europe. Canada isn't close!

The title says it all. I buy their rugged trousers for my brother who walks dogs daily. He is a punisher on his clothing, but the Northbound trousers hold up to daily use: no rips, or zipper issues or wear. I'm amazed. Thanks!

The outdoors/ snow pants I ordered were a good quality, but I ordered too small. They were delivered from NJ but had to be returned to Canada. That was $23 (US dollars) plus $5 restock free. Was going to exchange (free shipping delivery) but wouldn't risk needing to return if fit wasn't right.

This company doesn't seem to really have any inventory on hand. My original order took over a month of prodding their customer service before they shipped my item. When the product finally arrived it didn't fit so I asked for an exchange. What a nightmare that had become. Going on my fifth month and since do not have my product. I will never order from this company again. Buyers beware.

Jacket was shipped from New York, but returns must be shipped to Canada. This makes the return prohibitively expensive. Northbound Gear does not display their address anywhere on their website, so it's not immediately clear that this is a Canadian company. Don't buy from them unless you know it's going to fit.

Buyer beware: if you take the plunge with this company you're effectively in your own. From their customer support - Please note that we have a 60 days policy for all our products. If you want to return the item back to us for a refund or an exchange you have to send it within that timeframe. Also, we only accept returns that are unused and in the original packaging with tags still attached.
Return cost is on you, expect no warranty or support.

Ordered on March 3, still nothing six weeks later. Company said this is normal and was mentioned in FAQ's. Nothing is in Canada. No business address. No contact names. Take your money. False positive reviews. How is this not illegal in this country is beyond me. Total scam. Contacted them a few times and got the same email reply both times. Cut and paste personalized replies.

Items orders on October 26,2021. This is advertised as a Canadian Company. After ordering items I found out they were manufactured and shipped from China. As of December 6,2021 and after many contacts with customer service I have not received items. Customer service excused the problems on weather, customs, warehouse, US customs. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was immediately issued a refund without my asking for one. Scam?

This company advertises easy returns. Well if you live in the US the return shipping is over $20, plus there is a restocking fee that northbound charges. Oh, and you will have to fill out a customs declaration form. The size that I ordered is no where near true to size. Beware of purchasing from this company. They will fill your email inbox with spam and offer no true customer service.

After having sent me the wrong size of men's pants, I have made several attempts to seek a resolution of this problem. Northbound Gear, after finally asking for photos of the item and shipping label (which I provided) has now ghosted me. Judging by the number of similar complaints, I suspect that this is standard practice for Northbound Gear. Save your money, and support your local businesses instead.

I ordered one and got it ok. I liked it so I ordered a second one. It's been almost a month and I still haven't received it. They seem to have regular delivery issues based on other feedback as well

This company removes all negative reviews from their website. I bought a jacket that was not as advertised. It was a woman's jacket, I received a men's jacket that they called "unisex". The size was far different from the sizing chart, the jacket should have been 19.5 inches across not 22, and the shoulders were huge and boxy. To return this jacket I need to pay shipping and a restocking fee, despite not being what I ordered. Very poor customer service, I will avoid this company in future.

After Order, through shipment tracking, revealed made in China in an area with one of the worst human rights records. Took over two weeks to come from China. Product is disgusting, cheap as hell and horrible to wear. Would never recommend or deal with these people EVER again!
