I've purchased 6 pairs of Northboud pants - 2 each of summer weight zip offs, regular hiking pants and fleece-lined winter pants, They are all of good quality, but one of the Summer weight and one of the winter weight are too long and one of the hiking pants is tighter (smaller0 than the other - even though I ordered the same size for all of them. I love the pants, but can only wear one pair when hiking (unless i'm at miimum weight) and only one pair of the others (unless I'm wearing large enough boots to keep them off the ground)

Shopping with Northbound was very easy. My new insulated pants are well fit, stylish for outdoor wear and good quality.

Have ordered and received 2 Northbound Gear winter pants, 2 tactical belts and their high end winter coat. Very high quality; great fit, superb service. Especially impressed withe the fact I could order a 28 inch leg with 36 inch waist. Most clothiers start with a 30 inch inseam meaning extra tailoring charges and inconvenience. Will be looking for summer weight gear in a few short months.

Shipping took a very long time, and there was no clear expected date of delivery. It turns out they ship the items from China (although they send you a USPS tracking number right away), and the item is really not tracked until it gets to the US and picked up by USPS.

Return process is very outdated. First you have to ask for their approval for a return. They are not clear as to the criteria with which they will determine if you are worthy to send the items back (except for the 60day limit). Then, you have to pay for return shipping, plus import duties to Canada. Additionally, there is a disclosed $5 canadian charge for the return. All of this when most vendors make returns super easy.

Also, their web site did not provide a ready method for simply exchanging items, which is what we would have preferred to do. However, such an option was never provided. We got so frustrated with the process that we just decided to return the items that did not fit properly.

Finally, the quality of the products seems to be adequate, but not great. It was adequate enough to keep a couple of items, but not good enough to justify the total cost and hassle of ordering items without knowing if they would fit, given the return policy.

Excellent service and I am very satisfied. The sizing guide was accurate, however, I did not follow the recommendation to go lower in size if you are in between sizes. I preferred a bit more room through the waist and seat. They are perfect for me.

My husband loved these pants! I do wish they were made in Canada as well.

Great products. Good communications. Great service even halfway around the world. Ready for winter now.

Bought a pair of the Men's Adventure water resistant pants. My order came within two weeks, I tried them on an found them very comfortable. I had to wait for cooler weather to wear them. I love the fact that the fabric stretches and moves with your body. I've bought other outdoor pants but they were rigid and stiff. Will definitely be buying these pants and other Northbound gear again!

I ordered a pair of pants. They arrived in a fairly timely manner. However they were not of great quality and the sizing and cut was strange and did not fit well.
I wanted to return them.
You have to send an email requesting "authorization to return an item".
I have not heard back from the "company" and it's been over a month about details on how to return my item and get a refund.
This is a scam company.

My package took 2 weeks to reach me and then it was the incorrect size of the item I had purchased. A month later and I still don't have the item I need.

I like the pants, the shipping time is horrendous.

These were great! Warm, not bulky and fit perfectly. I am 6ft 120lbs, purchased 2tall and were just right to wear thermals under.

I love the pants, but they took almost one entire month to be delivered to me
