Northbound Gear

Love these pants, have been wearing them camping and throughout our Victorian winter. High waisted and fleece lined, what more could a girl want. They actually fit well, delivery was quick & all in Aud. Great company to deal with and value for money.

One of the jackets I ordered does not fit the same as the other even though they are the same size. Upon further review, I missed a key point regarding the fit, it's unisex and they recommend that men order a larger size for a more relaxed fit.
I am a female, however I have a larger body frame and broad shoulders and I have always had difficulty wearing clothes designed for women.
Also, ordered the waist pack, however there seems to be a manufacturer's defect. The hole designed for headphone cables does not have access from the inside of the pack to actually get through to coming out of the hole. Issue has been reported to the company.

Bought these for husband to wear while playing pétanque on a muddy puddly pitch. I wear ordinary waterproof over-trousers. They are so comfortable he seems to wear them all the time. No longer need to worry about mud splashing up or rain falling down.

I wasn't aware that since July 1st all goods coming to Europe are taxed. So my order #******* was a discount to € 84,56 +€ 22,58 taxes = € 107,14.
The trousers are Ok, but a next purchase at NorthboundeGear? Probably not. Pity.

I had to wait weeks for delivery. This is my third pair of Northbound pants a good product.
When the product arrived the leg length was incorrect. 30 I ordered 28. As I waited weeks and needed the pants I kept them.

I bought a pair for my son & I and the quality is great. The only thing is that they have a very slim fit below the knees. I would consider buying another pair if those came with a wider lower leg fit.
Everything else is perfect.

I am a standard size 12. These pants did not in anyway fit my body frame. The waist (even though elasticized was way to big and the upper thigh area was made for someone with thin/non athletic legs. The return policy is not the best. I returned them almost 2 weeks ago, tags attached and in the packaging, as specified in the return instructions, yet I have not seen a refund. I had been, and still am looking for a product just like this. A lined pant that can be worn outside in cooler weather while we are snowshoeing or hiking with the dogs.

If you have the patience and don't need your stuff right away then the Product is well made.Although the waist button on my Pants is welded shut it seems.Thankfully the waistband has plenty of stretch to get my pants off and on..

Surprisingly, I had to pay shipping costs to return one garment, plus a $5 restocking fee. The Woman's size 10 was much to large for my wife, and after deciding that the material used wasn't to her liking, decided to not reorder a smaller size. I liked and kept my pair of pants.

As an avid outdoors person, I was looking for a light weight warm and waterproof pant that that was both comfortable and had reinforced knees and I found them. Love the fact that these pants are "designed" in Canada and it would be fantastic to have that changed to "Made in Canada".

I would spend a few more dollars and get a more technical sun hoodie. The fabric is okay, definitely a lower quality than other sun hoodies I own. It washes well, fit is true to size.
Their email blast were pushy, asking for more purchases before the package even arrived.
Based on item quality and customer service/marketing I won't be ordering from this brand again, there are many other high quality outdoor brands offering higher quality products.

Pants do not fit and the cost to ship back to exchange is really expensive so I basically wasted hard earned $ on pants do not fit. If I had read the exchange policy prior to buying I would not have made the purchase. I already had a 36/30 that I have to use a belt with so I purchased 34/30 this time but the legs are too tight.

Easy to use web site and the order arrived on time even though it was the christmas period. The pants are warm, waterproof and very comfortable. I have been working outside in the rain inthem and would recommend them to anyone

In love with the cargo backpack. It has plenty of pockets and is versatile in terms of the way to carry it. It stores my tablet and other necessary stuff easily. They are perfect for hiking and weekend gateways.

I purchased a pair of trousers which did not arrive and despite numerous emails to northbound gear no one reply. The tracking no does not work. The customer service is appalling. I would not recommend them to any one.

I'm pleased with the quality of the purchased item. The shipping was a bit slow, but most likely because of the recent holiday season and it came a long way - from China! Northbound Gear is a bit clandestine because it promote itself as a Canadian company but instead it ships directly from Asia.

My husband and I both bought the adventure pants. As the reviews stated, they are absolutely awesome! Super comfortable, breathable, waterproof, and wind proof. They are great for any outdoor occasion and even look great to.

Product was as ordered and expected. Good quality. Was surprised about length of shipping and receiving time of over three weeks. That's unheard of these days. However customer service was very responsive and courteous with responses.

Just received my pants and tried them. Very happy with the fit and length (I'm 5'11" and I ordered the tall). They seem to also be quite warm which I love! Can't wait to put them to the real test, outside in the cold!
