Northbound Gear

Ordered the men's "adventure" water resistant pants after watching and reading reviews on the pants. The only hesitation I had was which waist size to order. I'm a 33 and the company suggested ordering a size down if you are in between even waist sizes. The size 32 turned to be fine since the elastic in the waistband stretches quite a bit. After fastening the button I can still stretch the waist out to about a 36. I ordered a 32 inseam which is my usual length and they are long enough to cover the top of my shoes. The pants are very warm and comfortable. They fit a bit on the snug side, definitely not baggy. I would recommend these pants and would purchase them again. Hope this helps someone decide on sizing, since they were my concerns and I didn't see any reviews that addressed them specifically.

First impressions are they are very impressive, warm and are a comfortable fit.

We should know in a few day's whether they meet our expectations as the area we are travelling too is expected to be very cold and windy. So here's hoping.

I have waited quite a while for my size to come back into stock but when I saw it had happened I jumped at the chance to get these for my outdoor activities. Due to being sent to the U.K. They took a little while to get here but once in the country I got updates and they were delivered on the day that I was advised they would come. I live no more than 20 miles from the wettest place in England but so far it hasn't rained! I have worn them and they fit perfectly. No doubt it will rain once I have posted this review but I am confident they will live up to the claim when it does.

This is my second pair of Adventure Pants and I bought a pair for my wife too, she loves them! Also grabbed a pack of boxer/briefs and they're awesome too. I didn't think underwear could be improved but you guys found a way.

The buying process was easy, delivery took longer than expected. I ordered a size larger than I usually wear and it was still too small. The jacket was nice, I gave it to my son. Won't buy anything else, don't trust the sizing.

Ordered the pants as Christmas gifts in November. Despite wording that the order would be fulfilled in 48 hours, for weeks and until the last moment it appeared the order hadn't been shipped. I did receive the order on December 21st, too late for our early family Christmas but the gifts were still appreciated when we we able to exchange in the new year.

These are in fact my fourth Northbound Gear product - I now have two pairs of summer explorer trousers (pants), one pair of Adventure trousers and an Apex Waterproof jacket. ALL items are brilliant and have met with my expectations.

I purchased this new pair as we were spending a few days in Barcelona and I wanted some light trousers, easy to pack, with zipped pockets. I wore them during the day for four days and clocked up nearly 60km of walking in them - they were very comfortable, looked smart but were also practical.

I live in Cumbria I the UK. It can be damp and cold, wet and cold or freezing and cold here in the winter. Sometimes all three in the sane walk. I e just started using the Northbound "Adventure" water resistant trousers and I think they're going to be a life-saver. The fit's great, the quality excellent and they're warm and comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the orange zips on the pockets. But hey, life's not perfect either!

Online ordering was easy. I did get the product in time for my daughter to take with her tree planting in Northern Manitoba. Was personally communicated with about my expedited delivery request and sizing was accurate to the measurement chart.

Do not buy from this company- terrible products- terrible customer service and the shipping takes over a month and a half. I don't ever write reviews but wanted to warn others. Do not order from these scammers

Purchased xmas gift for my grandson. Ordered Nov 28th. Should have been more than ample time to ship to Ottawa (even using the notoriously slow Canada Post) in time for xmas. It was not received until 28th December.

I purchased a pair of the new high waisted adventure pants. My order was delayed but customer service was great to deal with. They got back to me quickly and followed up to ensure I received my delivery.

My husband and I are both tall and finding the lined adventure pants in a long length was great! The pants are warm, comfortable, and look great! Quite happy with the product and willing to try others models as well. Only negative was the shipping time - took almost a month to recieve our order, which is why I knocked off 1 star. But, the pants were worth the wait in the end...

There was a significant delay in receiving my order, almost a month to arrive, when expected delivery was about one week, with no follow up from the company.I had a Can post tracking number but mostly there was no useful information just a msg that pkg was delayed.

Overall happy. Took a few weeks to arrive. The waist fits a bit looser than the sizing. Nice that the waist is stretchy. The fabric of the pants themselves doesn't seem to have any stretch at all, but maybe I misread that in the ad.

Bought the rain gear. Well built, warm definitely water and wind proof. Runs small. If you wear a large go to and extra large. If you are using int in layering system you may even want to go up 2 sizes to get the room

I got a pair of pants that I love. By the time of year I purchased them the worst of winter had passed. They are great to throw on first thing when I take the kids to school - no need for long johns! I look forward to testing them further next winter.

I've had nothing but great communication with this company, I absolutely love the quality and fit of their pants. I can highly recommend them. They helped with my return when one of my pants did not fit. They were quick and easy to work with.
