I bought a new motor from this place, and when I took it out of the mangled box it was shipped in, I knew it was used and had been installed before. I overlooked that, installed it anyway, and yes it ran for 5 seconds and stopped. Between having to return to install another part from another vendor and then driving the 5 hour round trip to transport the used/defective part to UPS to return it-they wouldn't even pay for return shipping. I wasted a lot of time with this business because they sell used/defective parts.
Terrible company to do business with. Buy elsewhere. Their reason for not accepting a return is because the part I bought was not installed by a professional. No where, in their return policy, does it state that! They only tell you that AFTER you install it and then try to return it if it doesn't work or is not the correct part. Do not do business with this company! They are a fraud.
I bought I HVAC blower motor from them that they said was a genuine factory replacement.
It turned out to be the wrong part but they refused to take responsibility for their mistake.
They tried to charge me 50% restocking fee which I refused to do. The credit card company sided with me and in the end NorthAmericaHVAC got nothing.
Stay away from them.
I was in hurry to get a control board for my furnace that I didn't bother to read the reviews. This company offered the cheapest so I placed my order. It came on time but the problem is...they sold me a bad board. I ordered another one from a different company and all is warm and toasty now. After reading the reviews I'm not going to go through the hassle of trying to get my money back.
Mitch with A Sullivan Plumbing here. I ordered a gas valve from these guys, it was defective and they said sorry we can't help you.
Bait and switch AND horrible response to my seeking of resolution; paid (a lot) for "UPS Next Day Air" shipping, and it was over a day late... ordered on Friday at 10:18 AM (their site even says that orders by 3 are Next Day), UPS website says they deliver Next Day Air orders on Saturday, AC Part shows up on Monday; whole Friday and weekend of 87 degree temps. Informed them, just wanted credit for the shipping charge; (by the way, they don't answer phones; only method is text). Instead, they dug in their heels, hid behind statements like "... our policy says..." and ". It's not our fault..." taking NO responsibility for ANY of it... horrible, horrible customer experience... race to the bottom and treat your customers like garbage; no empathy, no care. Do not buy anything from these people; they need fix this, but they do not care. So, I'm disputing the whole transaction as a "fraud of service" becauseTHAT is what it is. This could have been easily remedied, but they couldn't see the wisdom of doing that. Don't buy anything from these folks.
I ordered a blower motor for a air handler. When I ordered the unit I was told it was programmed for my unit. When I installed it I recieved a communication error for blower. I called carriercorp and three service technicians and was told the same by all of them" this blower isn't compatible ". Notified northamericanhavac and Amanda gave me a snarky reply stating that if has been installed I can only get 50% of my purchase price. I spent 178 dollars for one day delivery and 453 dollars plus tax for motor. I would not have even bothered to install this if I hadn't been told it was correct. Now they are going to charge me? Besides the snarky replies and no accountability for what happened I can say I will never use this company again. I'm not even trying for a refund at this point because what they offer is insulting.
Shipped correct part but overcharged on shipping. Refused refund saying delivery was fast enough (took 4 days instead of 2 days). Claims to be religious but are scamming customers out of priority mail fees. Ordered from the Ebay site of NorthAmericaHVAC.com (bluestang5)
Nordyne furnace inducer motor came with broken fan blade. I should have read all their rotten reviews first.
I ordered Carrier 1hp blower motor, model HD52AR275 for a total of $475. They sent a Rescue EZ13 1hp motor which costs about $240 most places. I even comfirmed the order on the phone and by 2 additional e-mails. Buyer beware! All that stuff about being closed on the Sabbath, one would expect them to be honest. Not the case. Again, buyer beware!
This the second time I have attempted to order furnace parts that were supposed to be in stock, only to be told the parts were NOT in stock and they had no idea when to expect them. Horrible company!
They are rude and unprofessional. They sent me the wrong part and said I have to pay to send it back, and lay a 20% restocking fee, plus they'll inspect it, knowing they will lie, then give me maybe 50% in credit. It was their mistake. I didn't authorize them to take money for the wrong part. So I'll seek legal action.
Avoid this company. Like most reviews on here, they advertise one product and send you another and say it's your fault. I ordered a condenser fan motor by the exact part number and they sent one that they say is a manufacturer substitute. It wasn't even a close match. Then if you return it they charge you a restocking fee. The only reason they're still in business is because they scam people out of their money.
The website lured you to order at a low price, Then support team emailed you to ask you to confirm your order, and after you replied to the Email, he lied that he had not received it. Even he confirms your order and then delays delivery, which may actually be no delivery at all. When you ask again, he cancel your order again on the grounds that you did not reply to the email, when in fact there is no such email.
After receiving the replacement Part from North American HVAC, from Sellersburg, IL.I read the reviews online, and I was shocked to read that many, have had the same exact issue and problem I experienced, they "surprising" sent the wrong part.<< check website: <
They apparently have a history of doing so, I logged onto the website 07/01/2023, and the company was...claiming for some religious observances, which I respect, the the web page was down and they they were unavailable. Bottom-Line: They appear to be deceptive and doing dishonest business., STAY AWAY!
Beware and Good luck working with North American HVAC.

Steered me towards wrong parts then wasted my time directing me to other parts. Went to return after deciding to find seller that knew what they were walking about except it was outside their 14 day policy. Scam scam scam
Don't waste your time with these clowns. They have parts listed on their websites that they do not have. I ordered a Genteq 5KCP39FGV442AS (as shown in the photo below on their website). They sent me a Service First MOT******* (as shown in the picture I took below) which is different electrically, physically and has different performance characteristics. If they had asked if a substitute would be acceptable we wouldn't be in this mess, but they did not. They sent what they had, which does not fit my application, and then demanded a 20% restocking fee plus shipping to return the wrong part they sent me. Fortunately, my credit card company canceled their charge. If they had spent half as much time communicating with me as they spent trying to meet their sales numbers in bogus restocking fees they would have a successful business. Read their BBB reviews for more examples.
We ordered a Furnace Exhaust Inducer Motor through Amazon and paid for expedited shipping because we were in dire need for this part to avoid the 10 degree freezing weather. According to this company expedited shipping means it can take up to 2 weeks lol. So that's exactly what happened they took our money and sent the item that we needed ASAP, 2 weeks later. I'm pretty sure standard shipping would have been faster than that. Disgusting absolutely disgusting way to cheat and treat your customers. We wont be doing business with them ever again.
I bought this item for my furnace It was a direct replacement (FASCO Furnace Draft Inducer/Exhaust Vent Venter Motor - 67K0401) I bought it off Amazon, This company was the seller, I bought it Jan 27,23 received it on Feb 2,23... My old one finally quit working and it was installed by my local heating & cooling service tech. 3 days after I had it installed it began making a bad vibration noise, I had the heating & cooling tech come back out and he told me it was a bad part, I contacted the seller where as they told me if i want replacement motor I will need to BUY ANOTHER ONE that they will not do a exchange but they will give me a refund. But not even 35 days after buying the 1st one, They have now raised the price of the motor $46.00... I asked if i would get back the amount of the new motor, They said NOPE the original price minus the shipping cost for the return... SO I ended up reporting them to Amazon only to get NO MORE REPLYS from this company... Plain and Simple... DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY (North America HVAC) They make and sell sub-par parts & equipment... At this point would be afraid to buy a CARDBOARD BOX from them... They have proven to me that they are here for one thing MONEY they dont care if there parts work
North America HVAC sent a defective item, it started leaking as soon as it was installed. Unfortunately, I was out of the return window and North America HVAC would not help me out at all. They continued to throw fine print at me and did absolutely everything they possibly could in an effort not to replace the damaged item they sent me, including misleading me on whom to turn to. Told me to reach out to Carrier for a warranty? But this was not a Carrier part. I attached pics of what I purchased vs. what they sent me.
The part they were supposed to send me was made by ClimaTek. ClimaTek is actually them - North America HVAC, and the parts they send out to you are remanufactured, by them. Strangely, they sent me an item made by NBK, not ClimaTek. NBK is very upset that they were misrepresented by this company as they are selling NGK equipment as ClimaTek. NKG explained that North America HVAC was supposed to file a warranty claim on my behalf which they refused to do. Just google them and check out other reviews.
They only communicate via text or email as that is the best way they can really hide from complaining customers. Their customer service is awful and I would have absolutely nothing to do with them because they will leave you hanging. They got me for $250, left me with a broken HVAC, and absolutely refused to take responsibility. I have a small child who was very uncomfortable for days with a broken AC and they refused to help. Eventually, they said that my repeated requests for help were harassing to them and to stop contacting them.
The owner's name is Joe Russel - this is his email - *******@northamericahvac.com
He hides behind his poorly misguided employees and also claims to be religious.
STAY AWAY!
Answer: I'd recommend almost anywhere that sells the part you need over these people. What kind of part are you looking for?
Answer: They do not have number so they won't have to talk to irate customers
